Lol, this is my first time reviewing a beach :) I just stumbled upon this and said to myself "what, how is my beach not a solid five stars?!"

Needless to say, I had to intervene with my own five star review. So this beach is across the street from my house and it very much feels like a neighbor. In fact, it is by far our favorite neighbor.

This beach is always clean and safe. And it's famous for it's shark teeth - yes, you read that right. We have loads of tiny black shark teeth in the sand, hidden among the shards of shells. Once you learn how to spot them you cannot stop seeing them.

That said, we do have sharks, so, be careful about how far you go out and what times of day you go out (sharks have certain parts of the day during which they feed and are more active).

After storms, we get some pretty good stuff washing up; sea urchins, jelly fish, horseshoe crabs, puffer fish, and giant conch shells.

Typically there are many, many shells on this beach with a disproportionate amount of them colored jet black which I find quite interesting (how often do you see a naturally black shell?).

Temps here are excellent and the water only gets really chilly in deep winter, otherwise, it's quite swimmable.

Not a lot of parking here, so, it doesn't make for a great public beach, in my opinion.

But yeah, our beach is a five star beach....we love it here!

This was another beautiful beach that we recently visited last month. This beach is in a very wealthy suburb community, approximately 18 miles southeast of downtown Jacksonville, Florida. On the day that we visited this beach, it was not very crowded compared to some of the other surrounding beaches. Overall we had a great time and just enjoyed the beautiful weather.

There is no public beach access or parking (for a reason...hint noted)
The closest you can get is if you get a membership to the "club".

Gorgeous but exclusive beach community. I live in area but not beach front. Make sure you observe beach signs and fill in all holes in sand after kids as it is turtle nesting season.

This is a wonderful beach to visit and even a better place to live! Ponte Vedra is where most of the "Elite People" live. They have nice places to shop and dine. Even the grocery stores are top notch. I occasionally stay at a Air BNB out here called, The North Star. It looks like a barn. The Propieters live upstairs. You stay downstairs. This is an easy entrance in to the place where you stay. If you go there, tell Becky, that Rebecca sent you. Ponte Vedra has a lot to do. I HIGHLY recommend this beach and area to hang out and or live.

Great place for a run or just hang out. It's about a mile from the hotel I stay in for work while I'm in Jax. Usually not crowded, really clean, lots of shell hunting and friendly folks walking up and down the shore. Beautiful homes and great views abound!

Me and one of my favorite places to run!
