I spent a lot of time researching transportation companies to use for my wedding, both for bridal party photos and for transporting family members from a nearby hotel. Before my photographer recommended Pontarelli, I was speaking to several other companies, a few of which had lower prices. The catch however, was those businesses didn't use signed contracts, and they weren't able to immediately share copies of their insurance with me.

Pontarelli operates as a professional business (with contracts and insurance!). Their customer service and communication was fantastic leading up to the event, and our driver was punctual, professional and courteous.

I would highly recommend Pontarelli seeking a price-competitive, reliable, highly professional transportation service.

Booked with them two weeks in advance, for transport of several people to a graduation downtown, including the graduate, from northwest side (maybe a mile from the company's home location). They called 20 minutes before they were supposed to be there to pick us up, saying the driver was going to be up to 35-40 minutes late. Keep in mind, this was during rush hour and the kid graduating had a definite time to be there. This would have ensured she would NOT have made it. I spoke to one of the owners, she blamed it on the fare they had prior to us, claiming he didn't come back out to the car in time for them to make it to us. She offered to have someone pick us up from their home location and "meet our driver in transit" still would not do us any good at that point, and if they had another car available to do that in the first place, they should have sent out another car to do our transport right away without even having to call us! She offered to provide the rides at no charge due to the delay, but the timing still would have done us no good! Additionally, while she took the time to blame the passenger before us, she said nothing of what actions were going to be taken to ensure sanitation/COVID protocols following the prior passenger getting out and us being picked up!

They left us scrambling at the last possible moment to get there! To have this happen at what would otherwise have cost $650 for our booking, I DO NOT RECOMMEND them! Absolutely unprofessional and undependable!

I have one star only because the site required it in order to post the review, I actually give them ZERO stars!

So happy we used Pontarelli for our daughters wedding transportation. We felt our guests and family were transported in style from our Chicago hotel to the Logan Square venue. It was effortless in that the drivers were on time, managed to get through Chicago rush hour traffic when the Taste of Chicago was going on and everyone got to their destination stress free! The drivers are pleasant, the shuttle limo buses we used were spotless, comfortable and stylish. So very happy our guests were able to maneuver a Chicago wedding
safely, on time and in comfort.

We used Pontarelli for transportation this past weekend. The office staff was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions as we were working through the planning/quote process. The driver arrived on time and was courteous. We did have a mechanical issue with the bus but the staff at Pontarelli was quick to respond and went above and beyond to minimize disruption and ensure we were satisfied.

I have booked with Pontarelli for years for my executives & customers. Always prompt, courteous, professional. I continually recommend their services.

Pontarelli was timely in their responses as soon as we reached out for a quote. We primarily worked with Pauline. All in all, they were great. The good, their drivers are top notch, stellar, on time (always early), and extremely professional. All of their vehicles are top notch, clean, and look brand new.

The only constructive notes we have were regarding the communication, and charges to our credit card. Through the wedding process, the middle and end were a bit of a nightmare were the timely communication was lost - we had to reach out to other people, etc., but found out after the fact it was due to illness. Second, my dad's credit card got charged twice for charges that were mistakes. Make sure you watch your statements, and read the fine print on fees if you are x amount of minutes late to the transport vehicle.

Also, we didn't get the champagne nor the "red carpet service" that was advertised and in our contract. It wasn't a big deal in the big picture/scheme of things, but still, when you promise something, deliver... we didn't have security on the vehicles, but were told we would still receive the bottle of champagne - we never got it.

Would we use them again? Yes? Were they fairly priced? Yes. Simply use with caution during the process, read the fine print, and watch your credit card statements.

Booked with Pontarelli for a client of mine and wow, just fantastic service all around. Booking was easy enough and fantastic help over the phone(without being put on hold) and my client cannot stop raving about how awesome Rovi was.

Highly recommend Pontarelli for your next transportation needs. We hired them for our wedding transportation in March 2020 but had to postpone our wedding celebration due to covid. We ended changing our plans and instead using our wedding day transportation for wedding picture transportation in September 2020. I worked with Cindy and I cannot praise her enough for her responsiveness and willingness to work with me on a new plan for our pictures. We got creative and made it work! The bus we had for our pictures was incredibly nice! You receive a text message with all of the drivers information and location when they are on their way and they show up early! We will definitely use them again and I highly recommend

So glad we used Pontarelli for our October wedding transportation. It was one less thing to worry about during the day and i couldn't have been more impressed. The driver, David, was super professional and helpful and the bus we had was high quality and luxurious. We were able to effortlessly transport our guests from the church in Lakeview to Lincoln Park and then to the suburbs at the end of the night -couldn't have gone smoother. Great company with high quality vehicles and drivers. 5/5 would definitely recommend for a wedding.
