Do you have outdoor seating?
A:
They don't have any tables or chairs outside their door -- however there's 2 sets and of tables (seats 4 each) outside the Baja Fresh that is next door. My understanding was that I could sit there -- so I did. Of course it was a rainy Friday… more

Delicious! Reminds of pizza from home. Clean and dining area is not open. Decent prices, great customer service. The ingredients are fresh and there is ample parking nearby.

Local Italian spot serving thin crust pizza, pasta and more. This is the closest it will get to NY style pizza in Fairfax.
We order pizza from here a lot at work. It's pricey but it's worth it. Especially when someone who is Italian and from Brooklyn, NY recommends this place. The pizza is made fresh to order. It's probably the best pizza I've had in the area (next to Papa Johns). I also like Papa Johns. I recommend their regular cheese pizza. Thin and chewy crust with amazing slightly burnt cheese.
Their pastas are also good. I love the gamberi scampi with the butter and lemon, made with clam stock i think? I tell myself to split that dish between two meals but I end up finishing it in one. I like how the pasta comes with garlic bread; not regular bread but garlic bread. Not the best garlic bread but it's better than regular bread. I like to clean all that butter and lemon sauce with the garlic bread.
Inside you will find families, kids, policemen, and locals partaking in good pizza and pasta. This is a local gem.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 9, 2020Updated review
Second visit mimicked the first in all ways except I have a bit of a cold so my appetite was hindered. Loved the sausage on my pie so much last time ordered it again. Boyfriend and I got an 18" half pepperoni and sausage, half bacon and mushroom.
I only ate one and 1/3 of a slice, he inhaled two of his own and then the other 2/3 of my slice. Went back to the hotel with two slices of each with, to be eaten as a midnight snack. There was a bit more sausage than I wanted but only because I'm not 100%, not knocking a star off for a situation they didn't create.
Restaurant was clean, food was delicious. Would love to try the pastas and subs at some point, but to be honest, not in Fairfax that often, so will probably stick to the pizza, which is the NY Style I grew up with on the coast of Connecticut.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 28, 2019Previous reviewFirst visit won't be our last! Don't live in the area unfortunately, but we do visit a few times a year, have a feeling this is our new go-to! Ordered an 18" pie, half mushroom and sausage, half pepperoni. Unfortunately it was put in as half mushroom, half pepperoni and sausage, but when boyfriend realized it he was like it's fine, I love mushrooms and you love pepperoni and sausage.
I loved the open kitchen. I loved how most everyone who came in seemed to be known regulars. More than anything, I LOVED the pizza. I grew up on the CT coast where NY-style pizza was way more frequently found than New Haven-style. This is what I've been missing the last twenty-plus years in this area.
I work right by a Tony's pizza (Bristow) so I do understand the comparisons. The pizza here is better. I haven't tried pasta, subs or appetizers at either location, so can't compare there. I really wish I worked close to here rather than Tony's, I would be a minimum once a week visitor.

This is the worst pizza I've ever had. We ordered three small pizzas to sample, and they were all sopping with grease and tasted so disgusting. The sauce had a weird bitter after taste, and the cheese did not look or taste normal. It had a very white separated look to it, kind of like school cafeteria pizza.
I don't love Dominos, but I would have rather had Dominos. We ended up throwing away 3 pizzas, and for the price, it was quite disappointing. Definitely not made in house or fresh. Save your money and go to Tony's or literally any chain pizza place in the area.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - HeSaid S.New York, NY816038Aug 19, 2020
Pros: COVID prepared, online order and payment.
Cons: Not the better than whole foods pizza and 2x the price. Used canned mushrooms. Instead of chopped onions used onion rounds which gets stringy. Sausage wasn't house made.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 24516132768Apr 15, 2018
Another good place in Virginia that serves pizza. Unfortunately it does not deliver. Why? Could you imagine the kind of business this restaurant would get if it did? Maybe they do not want to pay for a delivery driver. Okay. To each their own.
I was recommended to come here by David H., who said that the style of food is similar to that of what you would expect in New York. To cut to the chase, he was right.
For lunch my friend and I got a variety of items. My friend got a baked ziti, which fortunately for him, they do not put meat in their ziti. I got myself two slices of pizza; one plain and one slice of buffalo, an order of Calamari Fritti, and a piece of tiramisu.
The food itself is good. I am not denying that. The crust is foldable, NY style, and a plain slice is pretty much what you would expect from something from a NY pizza joint. The buffalo slice was just okay. My friend liked his ziti, which comes with two pieces of bread, each of them were good too! The ziti appears to come on vodka or a cheese sauce, but it looked promising. The tiramisu was good too, just the perfect amount of texture and richness. My one complaint about the food was the calamari. It was very bready and seemed a bit skimpy. I would not get this again.
Next time I would like to try a pasta entree, or if all else fails, I will just continue to get their pizza. It was worth a visit.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Apr 11, 2018
This establishment serves excellent pizza, pasta and other Italian food. The food here is made fresh and in house. The customer service is great. You walk in and order your food. Decide whether you want to eat in or take out.
They have seating for at least 30 people. There are plenty of parking spots around the shopping center. They do not sell slices when it is dinner time.
I recommend getting slices and trying out different types of pizzas.
It is a great place for friends and family to go. One of the best Italian places in the area. The price is reasonable.
I'm glad this place exists near me. Don't have to go far to get good pizza.
This places gets pretty busy during dinner rush.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 8, 2021
Not sure what all the hype is with this place as I've tried it a couple times now and both times were disappointing. I would try their pasta at a future date but the pizza is NOT good. They totally messed up our order and put sausage all over a veggie pizza and also forgot to add onions. I understand that they are busy but that's just not acceptable to mess something up so badly. Prices are really high here for what the pizza is and it was already cold by the time it got home which was only 10-ish minutes away.

The service was great. Very polite over the phone when placing the order and when picking up. Great vegetarian options. Pizzas are good, just wished veggie were cooked more into the pizza. Pasta dish was very tasty. Was looking forward to trying the eggplant pizza, hopefully it will be available again. Will go back and try more from menu.
