Really blown away by the service. I went hiking in Half Moon Bay and got bit by a tic. We didn't find the tic until about 9 hours later, buried into my skin on my scalp. After plucking it out, I wanted to get on antibiotics as a preventative measure to Lyme disease. I called first thing in the morning and got an appointment only a few hours later. The meeting with the doctor did not take long at all, the user interface was seamless to use, and the doctor prescribed me antibiotics, as it's better to be safe than sorry with Lyme. The script was sent to my local pharmacy immediately and was ready for pickup 15 minutes later. Fabulous doctors, easy app to use, and immediate results with obtaining a prescription. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, especially if you are in a pinch! Thank you so much!
I'm not sure why all these 5 stars reviews. I'm sick and thought I will tried used this service because I didn't want to get up, dress and wait in the urgent care room. My appt was at 9:00 am. Dr. Craig Reich called 9:06..that's fine with me. However, he didn't listen to me, he kept saying I got the flu. Only 2 min on the phone he told me to pick up my medicine in 2 hrs. I went to the pharmacy 3 hrs later. They don't have my prescriptions. Called plush care again, after few more hours later, went back to the pharmacy, they told me the dr prescribed a cough syrup that no pharmacies carried in CA. So I got the off counter cough syrup. After few days, I had no improvements so I called for another dr. Dr. Avni Pandya was much better. She listened to me regarding my symptoms, etc.. I felt better but still was sick after a week later. So I went to see a dr in an urgent clinic. I actually got bronchitis. I suffered approx. 3 weeks
I used plushcare in January 2017 and was very satisfied with The Physician Services aspect. I'm giving this a one-star rating because I'm very unhappy with the billing process. When I received my credit card statement instead of being charged once for a one-time consultation it was listing the charge as a recurring monthly expense to be paid every single month. I called the plushcare customer service line and essentially the person says No it should have been a one time fee there's nothing we can do, leaving me with the only option to dispute this with my credit card. The added hassle is intensely undesirable and I'm very disappointed that plushcare was not willing to resolve the problem that they created. Based on this I'm not sure I'll use them again.
PlushCare is the kind of disrupting business that I really wish will rule the world in the future. As it is, our medical system is challenging and having an online urgent care like plushcare is such a relief. There is never a time when I don't receive a good service from them. There was just one doctor named Dr Radha Gattu who jerked me around a bit, but that's not a problem because I no longer make appointments with her, I just select a different doctor. PlushCare beats the tar out of any other competitor that I can think of - and I have tried almost all of them. You can make an appointment and book same day or even within an hour or two, speak with a doctor, share a picture or video of the condition with the doctor, if any, and viola! I grew up in a country where walk-in clinic appointments and expecting to see a doctor same day was a norm and not an exception. However, an online / video appointment - no. In that sense, in my opinion this is pretty commendable.
I needed a prescription refill as my previous doctor had retired and closed down his clinic. I decided to give PlushCare a try as the service looked to be more affordable, faster, and easier than going into a local clinic. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. Making an appointment was easy using PlushCare's web site. I checked to make sure my issue was on their list of "What We Treat". I then clicked on the "See Doctor Now" button. This brought up a page of doctors (with background and bio information) and times available for an appointment in my location. I clicked through to book the appointment. My credit card was charged a $99 fee. I received an email confirming my appointment saying the doctor will be calling me at the appointment time. One hour before the appointment time, I received a call from a PlushCare support staff telling me that in California, a video consultation was required instead of a telephone consultation. She emailed me a link to download the PlushCare app. I logged in using my email and a password that I created. At exactly my appointment time, Dr. George Rudy entered the teleconference app. I enjoyed my interaction with Dr. Rudy as he was personable, knowledgeable, took the time to discuss my issue, and sent the prescription that I needed to my local pharmacy. Overall, I enjoyed my experience using PlushCare. It was cost efficient, easy, fast, and a pleasant experience. I would definitely use them again, as long as my issue is on their list of what they treat and I don't need the doctor to interact with me physically. On this consult, I saved lots of transportation time, waiting time, and money. It took the hassle out of my having to visit a doctor or clinic.
I could not believe I can actually speak to a doctor over the phone the same day I made the appointment ! I don't have health insurance so I pay in full for urgent care clinic visits. I've had the same issue before and I thought "I know what I have, why do I have to drive park and sit in a waiting room, then take a urine test, wait for the results just so the doctor can tell me what I already know." I just wanted a doctor to prescribe antibiotics. Then I found Plushcare urgent care online. Flat fee $99 ?? No hidden fees ?? I called support to make sure there are no extra cost. They were very helpful. The doctor was efficient , friendly and professional. I got my medicine the next day. I feel so much better.
This is the 2nd time we used plushcare. First time it was my husband who had an eye infection on a Sunday, and we found plushcare on Yelp and gave it a try--Dr. Allen Marks was fantastic and thorough, prescribed antibiotic right away and hubby's issue was solved within a couple of days. Today I called plushcare cus I woke up very dizzy and vomitting, called my regular doctor, he was too busy and referred me to ER!! Unbelievable! So I used plushcare this time for myself --Dr Rudy was absolutely fantastic as well, friendly and very thorough. Obviously if u had a life threatening emergency, you would not do medical diagnosis over video chat, BUT, if you need to see a doctor right away because of minor/regular medical issues, this is really the perfect solution, saves you time and money and you can be anywhere, I highly recommend it!
Been a patient for many years and will stay til she retires, she listens, she cares, she's just the best out there!!!!!
This company is amazing. I was able to avoid the local urgent care and get diagnosed via video chat. The doctor was caring and diagnosed me correctly with strept throat and sent the antibiotics to my local pharmacy. I'll definitely use them again.
First time using this service and was not sure how effective it will be. I was pleasantly surprised, Dr. Allan Marks called 5 min before my scheduled appointment and really took his time explaining everything, something you don't usually get at a traditional urgent care. Not to mention the wait times and all the sick people around you. He sent the prescription to my local pharmacy and it was ready in 5 min for pickup. After I hung up the phone, he called back in 10 min suggesting a few more things for me to stay more comfortable. This for sure beats the traditional urgent care, where you still have to pay the same 100 bucks for insurance deductible, wait for hours and one urgent care doctor rushing between rooms and barely having time to address your issues and be personal.
I had such a good experience that I wrote the following email to all my family members; "I just had one of the best doctor experiences of my life!!! Our darling daughter has had an ear infection for the past week stemming from a nasty cold, which I of course caught. I thought I could ride it out, but finally had to break down and go to the doctor today when my own ear started hurting. (An ear infection at 34! Who knew?!) My go-to my whole life has been doctors on duty. Imagine my disappointment when I looked it up this morning and the one in San Jose right by our house had closed. So then I did what any good Silicon Valley resident would and turned to my good friends at Yelp! Reading the reviews I came across PlushCare. The reviews were stunning in that everyone loved them. Words like "quick response", "no wait time", "caring & compassionate staff", and "happy doctors" are not those I am used to hearing about urgent care. Upon further investigation I found out they are entirely online. You click onto their site, easily choose a doctor and a time and they either call or video chat you. My appointment was made only 20 mins ahead of time, and I never had to leave my desk at work! The doctor called me right on time and asked really detailed questions about my current health as well as my medical history. I was worried about them not being able to physically look in my ears, but the conversation was so comprehensive that those fears were assuaged right away. It was by far the most in depth and pleasant doctors appointment I have ever had. He told me what signs to look for in case in need to call back. The visit is a flat $99 ($69 for returning customers), and it is free for any follow up calls/video chats. They immediately called in my e-perscription and it is already ready at the pharmacy for me! The whole thing in and out was 25 minutes."
Amazing!!! You get to video chat with a doctor and it is so much easier than going into a care center. I had my appointment over the phone in a short span of time and everyone I interacted with was quick and professional.
My first experience with PlushCare was excellent. I decided it was worth the time to write this review if it could help others in a similar situation who have never used a clinic over the phone such as this. In my case, it was exactly as advertised. I developed an ear ache in one ear near the end of the week along with some flu-like symptoms, and by Sunday it was in both ears. I realized at that point that it was more than an average cold or flu, and it was not going to go away quickly by itself. On a Sunday afternoon, that meant either waiting a day to visit my doctor, or visiting an urgent care clinic. I called PlushCare and received a call back in about an hour from Dr. Marks, who asked a few questions and diagnosed me with an ear infection, and gave me a prescription for pickup the same day. He was considerate and knowledgeable, and answered my questions as to how I likely came to get the ear ache, and explained what I could expect over the next few days. Simply fantastic. For common problems that can be diagnosed over the phone, I would not only recommend PlushCare as an alternative to visiting an urgent care clinic or a doctor's office, but as a first choice. It was a pleasant and convenient experience, I didn't have to visit an office with an ear ache, and was able to get a prescription on a Sunday afternoon in a couple of hours.
This reviews for the online experience. I had no problems booking my appointment and at the appointed time the doctor did not call. Or so I thought. Upon further investigation I found my phone was sending stuff straight to voicemail so I never got it. Not her fault at all. I called plush care customer service they said they would have the doctor call me back, and if she couldn't ,they would get a hold of me. It never happened. I waited all night and nobody ever contacted me-customer Service or the doctor. Extremely disappointed. And I did contact my cell provider, things were fixed so I know it was not on my end.
I just had my first visit with PlushCare and it went extremely smoothly! This was my first ever tele-health visit and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The Doctor was prompt, took his time asking my history of complaint and discussed treatment options with me focusing on my comfort. I will definitely tell my friends about PlushCare Urgent Care whenever they need to be seen quickly and treated well by an excellent provider!
This is the first time we used plushcare service. Service was really good. Received the call on time. Doctor Rudy was very friendly and patient and answered all our questions. Will definitely use this service again :)
I can't say enough about the care I was given. From setting up the account, making an appointment to talking to the doctor everything went smooth. I got the immediate care/prescription I needed without waiting for an appointment with my personal doctor and the cost involved. With Plush Care I only had a $5 co-pay. Great service.
This service was a Godsend! This is truly the future of SMART healthcare. I am a nurse. I've worked in healthcare for years and wondered why some doctors insist upon dragging sick people into their office to spread their germs to the masses. For common ailments, this is the way to go. Let's face it. You know when it's no longer a cold and it's something more. You know what you need: antibiotics and perhaps an inhaler or some cough syrup. It's the same every time. People are more educated about their own health. Doctors have a set of skills that can help determine what ails you with a few quick questions. So why not combine those two factors and eliminate the need to trudge out when you're feeling your worst? The last thing a compromised immune system needs is to get out of bed, sit in a doctor's office for two hours around other sick people and in turn spread their germs to others. So..,my story: my cold started a week ago while I was in DC visiting family. Then I traveled on the longest flight from DC to SFO and my ears were painfully NOT popping on descent. For the next 2 days, I lay in bed miserably rolling between coughing, sneezing, draining, stuffiness, aching, wheezing, fever, and just wanting to crawl under a rock and sleep forever. Finally I dragged myself out to Urgent Care in Corte Madera and was told that no one could see me until 430pm the following day (yesterday). Really? You're kidding. All I need is for a doctor to lay eyes on me and spend 5 minutes with me to see/hear what I needed. So I begrudgingly left their office and sat in my car and Googled "Urgent Care Marin." Plushcare popped up. Now normally I'd be skeptical. It's one of the top hits under the "AD" section. It sounds too good to be true. I even emailed the company and asked if there was a monthly fee. I assumed there must be some "catch." I received an email back within 5 minutes!! WOW!! I was impressed! Not a day...5 minutes to respond to an email. OK. Convenience? Check. Customer Service? Check. Cheap? Check. Immediate? Check. I could have had an appointment while I was sitting there in my car outside of Urgent Care but decided to go crawl into my bed for my conversation with the doctor. I had a Stanford educated doctor call me promptly at the specified time. He took time to hear my story/signs/symptoms. He had me do a couple breathing exercises for him as I put the phone on speaker. We spoke for about 10-15 minutes (more time than you get with a doctor in an office)! I'm charged $45 for the consultation. The doctor has already emailed/wired/faxed (who knows? who cares?) my prescription to Walgreens before the conversation is over. What more do you need to know? I'm seriously LOVING this service. VERY impressed! Thank you, PlushCare! Thank you! ps...2nd dose of antibiotics and I'm feeling MUCH better!
I was looking on Yelp for a Dr to visit in person when I found this Plushcare place with such great reviews. I made an appointment not even knowing that this was for a phone-in-Dr type service, which I didn't even know was a thing. It wasn't until I dug around the website some more did I realize that I could be diagnosed and prescribed medicine right over the phone while curled up in a blanket in a feverish sweat. He was super nice and asked me the same questions my impossible-to-schedule-an-appointment-busy-family-doctor and gave me tips on how to alleviate symptoms. He called in my prescription for antibiotics so I'm headed to get it now. Hopefully it works!
I love this service! Husband had an strep throat all of a sudden and the after hours appointment really helped him get his medication.
