Thanks to Scott and his team for helping me locate purchase and ship a car that has been a dream of mine for awhile. They were courteous professional and made what could have been a difficult process very easy. I will certainly take them into consideration for any future classic car purchases and would encourage anyone reading this to do the same.

We've been to this location several times, however after our last visit, we won't be going back.
We were walking around and someone I was with happened to inadvertently touch one of the cars. A woman who works there came over, demonstrated for him what he had done, referred to a sign that says not to touch the cars and then literally said, "I just wanted to make sure you could read."
It was truly the most condescending behavior I've witnessed from an employee to a prospective customer.
He had a good sense of humor about it but then she continued to basically follow him around with a long explanation of what if it was his car, etc. Trust me, we understand all of that, these are beautiful cars and a lot of work has clearly gone into them. A brief reminder would not have been a bother, she didn't need to be downright rude and go into a long dissertation when clearly it wasn't his intention.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Charlie S.Boise, ID015745Aug 10, 2019
Customer service is horrendous. There are many other ways to buy a used car and based on my personal experience i would not buy a used car from these people. They have terrible customer service and think they are a big deal when really all it is is a used car delearship. They want you thinkk you are at a car show. You are not at a car show. You are at a used car delearship. I will take my business elsewhere. And hopefully they learn how to talk to people or just go out of business and save everyone the heartache of dealing with angry horrible people.

Purchased a car there over a year ago. Do your own research do not take their word for it, all I have to say; ESPECIALLY if it is on consignment they don't confirm what the seller tells them.

Ive done business with Scott & Shelly several times in the past year or so, alway courteous and honest information. They both are very knowledgeable about classic cars and I feel to a great job of representing the "quality" vehicles for sale on there lot... I sometimes just stop in to to view the beautiful, (ever changing) cars on display in their large showroom, and dream a bit...

I called yesterday inquiring about a truck that was on their website. I spoke with Shelley who was beyond kind and went the extra mile. Unfortunately, the truck had just been taken off of the lot by the owner, but Shelley went the extra mile and offered to give the man my name and phone number. I still have not heard from the owner, however I truly appreciate her willingness to do this for me. Not only was Shelley kind and professional, but she was also very easy to talk to. I would definitely suggest coming to Play Toys if you want excellent customer service.

The owner was rude to my father for touching a vintage gas pump inside the showroom. Manners and consideration are expected... I get that. There were no signs posted and I feel my Dad was being respectful and did not intend on harming the displays. However, it doesn't warrant being rude or talking to customers like an condescending jerk. My Dad is retired... worked hard for his money and is a paying customer and was not there to kick tires.

I appreciate your visit and I do remember speaking to your father. Please understand we are entrusted with many fine automobiles and antique auto memorabilia on consignment. There are signs posted throughout our showroom asking to "Please Do Not Touch" including on the vehicles and gas pumps. When our postings were ignored I asked to look but please do not touch. The response was "he is a touchy feel type guy". I am sorry that that our family business is not one where your father can come through and run his fingers along our memorabilia and cars. We have commitments to our sellers to protect their property while it is in our care. I don't recommend you attend a car show or museum and allow your father to do these things there either. Thanks for your understanding.

I have purchased cars here and sold them too. Never had a problem with the owners. What I see with a lot of negative posts is people buying old cars expecting them to be like their new car. It ain't so. Old cars leak, break and have problems. That's why they are bought and sold "as is!"

If I could give this place a 0-star I would. They sold my baby sister a car quoted 76,818 miles "original milage" and in "good working condition." According to the LAW you need to smog a car before selling it. This jerk sold her the car and sent her to a specific place to get smogged. The car then broke down on the freeway on the drive home (in Rialto).
Long story short we contacted this man to take this car back and return our money. He flat out said no, but he could "resell" the car for her.
We then looked at the car fax on the car which told us the car had '81,000' in 1999!!! The odometer had been rolled back multiple times!!
The car actually had over 276,000 miles!!!FRAUD!!!! ALSO the car was marked as a "gross polluter" The mechanic who inspected the car said it had "total mechanical failure" (this is after having the car for 1 hour!!!!)
We needed to contact our lawyer in order to get our money back!! These guys KNEW they were talking advantage of someone who is not experienced with buying used cars!!! Shame on them!!
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Brittney, I have read your comments about your sisters experience that is related to the previous owners. Although I have no knowledge of the details of the purchase and the overall situation, I can assure you that my wife and I take our customers seriously and we would never engage in the type of activity you described or provide the customer experience your family had. I hope someday you and your sister will stop in to meet us and discuss your situation. We honestly love the classic car business and we provide ourselves in providing a great, honest and hopefully fun car buying experience. We own this business because we love cars.
