Platte Ranch Double B Riding Stables

we are visiting from VA and ride back home weekly. my son and I wanted to do a trail ride out here while on vacation. Platte Ranch did not disappoint!! amazing guides who are so friendly and knowledgeable. The scenery is so beautiful! the horses are so sweet and well loved. we really had a blast. I unfortunately got hit with some altitude sickness towards the end and the guides were really great with making sure I was okay and getting me back to the ranch. I genuinely appreciate everyone! thank you for making this such a fun experience. not your typical nose to tail trail ride! loved it

This was definitely a one of a kind experience with a small group of people who all had the same goal of seeing Colorado's beauty on horse. 10/10 would come back here again. Mike, josh, and Amy were amazing. We appreciate their time and dedication to educating folks. Thanks for making our anniversary amazing!

What a wonderful experience and an amazing view! Staff was amazing and great with the kids. Easy ride with wide open spaces, views of mountains. Highly recommend!

My partner and I did a private ride back in September 2022 to see the fall colors. It was absolutely the best trail ride either of us have been on! I rode Bella and she was an amazing combination. Because both he and I have ridden before, we were able to move above a walk and actually trot, canter, gallop where the footing allowed. It was great to not be stuck in a nose-to-tail trail ride with a ton of people. The scenery was beautiful and our guide was amazing, fun and easy to talk to, and educational about the land. I'm not awesome with names but I wish I remembered hers! Her dogs also came along and it was so great to see how happy they were to run alongside and explore with the horses. Our goal is to come back for a winter ride sometime. Winter or otherwise, we will definitely be back!

A fantastic establishment with extremely kind and hands-on guides. A group of 8 of us rode for 2 hours and almost 3 miles. This is a must do in the beautiful region. This scenic ride was awesome! Thank you to the Platte Ranch for a great time!

My wife and I are both retired from the military. We have travelled literally around the world, so to say this was an experience we will never forget, we mean it! What a chance to experience Colorados' unspoiled views, and people, atop a well-mannered and cared for horse. Tigger and the other wranglers were professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about riding, but also the extensive history and make-up of this beautiful area south of Breckenridge. Safety was always #1 and all participants were encouraged to ride at their pace and be comfortable with their level of experience without feeling like a city slicker. Amy was always quickly responsive to our texts and emails. This ranch is well worth the short drive if you are in the Vail or Breckenridge area. My wife and I feel it was the highlight of our two weeks in the Rocky Mountains and I am sure you and your family will too!

Absolutely love this ranch, the stock and these people! We try to come out here every time we are in CO. It is a terrific place for kids of all ages, mothers and daughters, families and friends to just relax and get away from the world for a moment. Mike and Josh were wonderful, regaling guests with stories and pointing out the wildlife. The antics of the dogs who sometimes lead the way or trail behind are hilarious to watch and a testament to what farm life can and should be for canine. We've been here multiple seasons and all are spectacular. Always worth the drive!

Wonderful people working here! They were so nice to our daughters who had never gone horseback riding before (ages 7 and 10). I will absolutely go back here again.

Came out last fall with our young son for my wife's birthday. Good people, good horses, great time!
