Platinum Stylez Hair Studio

I live in Chicago, and my hairstylist recommended me to Kachina because I needed my hair done in the DC area and they used to work together. My hair is natural, and I needed it to be flat- ironed straight. She really understands natural hair, and she did a wonderful job on my hair. On top of that, she was able to fit me in on short notice, and she is very fast and efficient. Everyone in the shop was professional, and hardworking. I would definitely go back and would recommend it to people in the DC area.

My hair was long and I'm going through a tough time in my life. Getting my hair cut felt like some sort of revolutionary act. My nerves were wearing on me because I almost never get my hair done for the simple reason, my experiences are not satisfying. I'd spend a lot of time and money and walk out trying to fix what had been attempted on my hair by spending more time and money trying to cover it up.
Anyway, I wanted my haircut like a mix between Toni Braxton's short wavy, loose curls and Eva Pigford's short molded straight look. And when I tell you that I got exactly what I asked for..... I did. Tonya hooked me up! The other stylists were commenting positively and one even noted that I had the Toni look without even knowing that was my goal.
I absolutely love my hair! And a major plus is that it was not an all day affair! On a Saturday! Tonya work efficiently and she is very pleasant, funny, and skilled.
I cannot expressed how pleased I am with my dramatic change and the way Tonya hooked me up! I feel pretty.
