Planned Parenthood - Vista Isabella Center

Came in for a basic yearly STD check up.
Been coming here for a few years.
Hispanic lady at front counter with tattooed hands wearing a BLM shirt told me " I wouldn't qualify for the state program" without even having me fill out a form . She then told me I would have to pay for a basic STD check up that costed around  $374 dollars.
Even with an appointment she acted like helping me was very inconvenient for her . Even though she wasn't even busy at all.
Don't come here unless you want be treated like trash. A clinic should be a place where people actually want to help you.
Ended up finding a place down the street that did the STD test for free and got me in right away without an appointment.  I'll post the location below.
I'll also paste the sticky note Planned Parent Hood told me a basic STD test costs. She wrote it down for me lol

Some of the negative reviews almost deterred me which is what prompted me to write this one. I could not be more glad that I went to the clinic today. I was in for an urgent birth control prescription. The staff at the front desk was patient with me as I filled out my family pact application in order to see if I qualified for payment help (at the suggestion of the front desk staff); turns out I qualified which saved me a ton on out of pocket costs that I was prepared to pay but did not know I was eligible for help with. Next, I'd like to personally mention Preston, the MA that took my vitals and history. They were unbelievable. Extremely sensitive and professional, JUST the person you would want in this position at this type of clinic. Would go back 10/10

I don't recommend this clinic. I went in for a vaginal care. I was not greeted well. The receptionist was not having it she was maybe having a bad day. She was rude. I felt unwelcome, and I will never return to this clinic again.

For a place that claims to be the leader of quality health care, they are surely not doing a good job. When you are first brought back they ask the typical questions and take you temp and weight, then they begin with a parade of tests they want you to do (all for an additional fee of course) and when you decline those tests the MOOD CHANGES. No longer are the nurses or doctors helpful. No longer do they want to answers your questions. I felt like I was being punished for declining unnecessary testing. For the exam I requested a female doctor. The nurse told me they will try but no promises. I responded with well if a male doctor comes in I will just straight up leave. Never once did the nurse try to ease my nerves that she will do everything in her power to ensure my request is met. Then during the exam the doctor literally said well I don't think you need them but then circles back around to pressuring me to do those tests again. EVEN THOUGHT SHE JUST SAID THEY WOULDN'T BE NECESSARY. The doctor never gave me any info on how to care for the issue I came in for. She actually told me exactly what type of help I needed, but then told me she couldn't do anything because she couldn't prescribe the antibiotics (apparently a pp policy?) and told me to go to a urgent care (again felt like I was being punished for saying no to unnecessary testing) It was at that point I couldn't WAIT to get out. It was clear to me that if they couldn't get more money out of me that I was a waste of an appointment. So way to go planned parenthood, you have lost a believer in your services. You all should be ashamed for valuing patients for how much they spend. Disgusting

Clean clinic, always in and out within an hour (with an appointment) all the providers make me feel comfortable any time I go in!

Would give zero if I could. Last summer I came here for basic STD testing. They told me they'd call me if I had anything. Two-three weeks went by and I never got a call. Two months later and I go to get a breast exam, and they asked if I wanted to be treated for an STD I had. I was confused and mad because they never called me. I asked them why and I quote the lady told me "it's not their job". I was so beyond angry because that's their entire job and how would I have ever found out if I didn't go for that breast exam, considering I had no symptoms. I decided to give them another chance and go back today which was truly regretful. The staff is so rude and treat patients like they're an inconvenience. I went through the testing I needed and my check up, all was fine until I went to leave and they told me I owed them money. But when I got there they said I owe nothing. I went back and forth with the lady for a few minutes because I'm on family pact so that doesn't even make sense. Then she said if I don't pay up they won't run my STD testing so I just paid. They had prescribed me yeast infection medicine to pick up from my pharmacy, so a few hours later I went to pick it up. THEY FORGOT. They didn't send my prescription over!!! They also through out my entire appointment we're pressuring me and trying to convince me to start birth control, when I have many personal reasons and physical health reasons not to be on it. They wouldn't drop it. This office is absolutely awful & ignorant. Like how ignorant can one medical office get. I will never be going here again. They absolutely do not respect patients and clearly they're so unorganized it's insanity!! Don't come here, it's not worth it.

Yesterday was my first experience at a Planned Parenthood and it completely exceeded my expectations.
I thought it was going to thghetto and graffiti filled, but it was super clean and modern. The staff was really nice, to. I got my birth control removed and asked for a price quote. By the time I paid, they let me know I got a discount and it was $30 less than I was expecting!
Only downside is that I didn't receive any condoms or anything when I left. And the pro-life protesters outside.
BUT there is a security guard outside.

I love this location. Scheduling is so easy. No matter which way you choose. The staff is always nice everytime I come in here or when I call or when they've had to call me to follow up  The physicians assistant or the physicians are attentive. They listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. Also they are good about trying to treat you. They ask questions and try to give alternatives. Really feels like the people here care about their patients. Place is very clean including the restroom. They have a nice waiting area. Also if you have a scheduled appionment they call you in pretty quick. If you are a walk in they are pretty reasonable with their time and waiting. But if the wait is longer  they are very good about letting you know. Always take good care of me. I have not one bad thing to say except that this planned parenthood is a keeper.

If I could rate this place a Zero I would at first I was very happy they did what I asked but then I had very major complications and I expected them to step up to the plate for the issues they caused and nothing gets my disrespect faster then when you make a mess and expect another medical team to clean it up for you..Very Very Very disappointed for ever entrusting my health with his place I spent 2 hours after having an appointment waiting around just to be sent home with NO service and now I have to go to the ER your facility disgusts Me

Staff was friendly, place was clean. But they REALLY need to fix their online appointment service. I set up an appointment, input all my info and pressed the make an appointment button, and i got taken to a blank page after. i just assumed my appointment had been made, so I show up on time. Reception tells me i have no appointment in the system, and that "maybe I didn't push the button".... Frustrating to no end because i have already been trying to make an appointment for months with Kaiser to simply get an IUD removed. Really disappointed that PP sucks as much as Kaiser, I was rooting for them :/
Long story short make sure you get a confirmation email or text if you make an appointment online.
