This place is worth your drive if you don't live in Cave Creek. It'll be your new favorite Italian restaurant. Perfect for casual date night or grabbing a bite with friends. You can sit on the terrace or inside. Inside is smaller and if it's not too hot out I recommend sitting on the terrace to soak in the Italian terrace vibe.

They have pinsa and pasta. Pinsa is a style of pizza and it's all about the crust. It's nice and crunchy on the outside, but soft and airy on the inside. They are on a the smaller side. Small is 4-5 slices.  Large is 8-10 slices. Each slice is around 3.5". We had the amatriciana pinsa, homemade lasagna, caprese salad, tiramisu. Amatriciana does have a lot of bacon if you're into that. The lasagna had many layers to it, literally. The tiramisu was unlike a tiramisu I've ever had. I normally don't get tiramisus because the overbearing rum taste, but holy hell this isn't take like a normal tiramisu. It was creamy as hell. GET IT.

We will definitely go back. Next time we'll be getting the carbonara and try another pinsa. Carbonara looked bomb and it was a mountain of pasta. Any who take a crack at this place.

    ENJOY!

I love the pinsa here! The crust was especially delicious- there's very few restaurants that make a crust that's crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. YUM!  The Caesar salad was delicious too!
Our service was great, the waiter was friendly professional and took good care of us.
The only negative comment I have is they need to fix the little pond in the middle of the outdoor patio - it was all green and murky and kind of gross.

We were excited to try this restaurant.  We had a reservation.  I asked an employee where we check in for a reservation, to which she snapped at me and said, "In this long line" and walked off.  We were seated inside in the corner. Then a family was seated with a highchair at the end of the table, which left less than reasonable space for egress in the case of an emergency.  The fire marshall probably would not have approved.  We ordered an appetizer, which was delivered to the table. It was delicious.  But 25 minutes after being seated, our order still wasn't taken, my cocktail wasn't made, and my husband's iced tea was nowhere to be found.  But the worst thing was the rude lady from the beginning was in complete emotional crisis and yelling at everyone the entire time. Poor Denise was sent to the back to roll silverware, which we knew because angry lady kept yelling it.

It's a shame because the food looked delicious. But if our order is never taken, delicious food will never come to the table.

The food was extremely yummy ! Best pizza I have had in a long time . The owner was nice , my server was great ; my  only complaint is the hostess ! She's extremely rude and unprofessional. She should not be in this kind of work . My husband and I almost left due to her rudeness .
The owner did reach out to let me know that he did let that employee go

Incredible pizza literally the best pizza I've had in years. The service was top notch and the prices are really fair.

We went on Sunday for Mother's Day and at first we're being seated at a table for 4 (my husband had reserved for 4 and a baby) but the owner intervened and got us a much better table.
The food was delicious - we had the bruschetta, two types of pinsa, French fries, and two pastas and loved all of it. The one downside and the reason this isn't a 5-star, our waitress also served the bar and got a lot of customers and so we had to wait to order dessert, then wait for the dessert, so long that we actually took our Creme brûlée to go, and then wait for the check. She was super nice but probably just had too many customers. We would definitely go again.

Enjoyed our first visit to Pizzicata. The service was very good and the pizza is quite tasty.  Being vegan there are always limited options but we were able to split a small vegetable pizza without cheese (although they do offer vegan cheese as an upcharge) and Pizzacata salads. The salads were full of mixed greens. Our only complaint is the bowls are so small it's quite hard to actually eat the salad easily. They do have a lunch special which is best to reduce your final bill as the prices are high.

    1 check-in

Pizza is amazing and although pricey, still worth it.  The crust is perfectly chewy and substantial without being overwhelming.  Moisture level and thickness of inner crust and crunch and crispness of the edge crust are perfection.  Cheese is fresh, flavorful and not too salty.  Pepperoni is definitely high quality with crisp edges.

I also had the Tiramisu...let me start by saying this is my favorite dessert by a landslide and I try it every time it is in a menu.  I had high hopes after loving the pizza.  Sadly, I was VERY disappointed!!  This is no better than of my child had made it at home.  Tasted like cheap pudding, definitely not marscapone, and drip coffee soaked Hawaiian bread.  I will give call edit as these were lady fingers, however the coffee was weak and so soaked that it seeped out and made the dessert watery. The cocoa powder on top was too heavily dusted. At $10 this is a HARD PASS.

Everything was delicious!!  Looking for a place for dinner and found this place thru my Yelp peeps!  We will come back next year when we visit Cave Creek again.  The four of us shared three things and all were great.

I called ahead to see if they were busy and she held a table for us . They even had music
