It was my first time trying this place and it was really good. I got the double pan pizza and the crust was really tasty. I will for sure order again

I wish, I could post negative stars... this place has gone down hill over the years, even the pizza is questionable these days... I stopped and ordered an Italian beef sandwich and side of fries to go, they were ice cold and I only live a few blocks away... Arby's would've have been a better choice and they suck...

Pizzeria Scotty serves up delicious deep dish/thick crust pizza.
We recently ordered some pizza for takeout. Pizzeria Scotty is exclusively a pick up or delivery spot as their shop is quite small.
They serve their pizza with your choice of crust--Chicago pan, double dough, thin crust, or stuffed. We opted for their Chicago pan style and were pleased with the thick crust and ample toppings (no sauce on top).
Their website makes it easy to order and pay before picking up and they work hard to get your pizza done as quickly as possible even though they're very busy.
When I arrived to pick up our order, the service was friendy and efficient.

Sauce seems to have changed from prior, much sweeter from what i recall,I prefer no sugar in my sauce. Meatballs good but sauce distracted. Older guys at cash registers diving up tip on my order in front of me. They did not seem friendly on phone or in person. Help hard to come by I understand completely.

The meatballs were homemade and delicious, the sauce was outstanding and the bread was perfect and chewy. The price was very reasonable at $4.76. Had the pizza and was AVERAGE

We've ordered from here a few times, and the pizza is always undercooked, with the bottom being completely white and raw in the middle. Soggy and mushy. I thought it was a fluke the first couple times, so I gave it a couple more tries, but it's been like that each time. Gross. The mozzarella sticks are those stupid ones with the eggroll wrappers (bland). I think people in this area just don't know good pizza.

I've been coming to Scotty's since their old location a few blocks from their current spot. I've always loved them but I'm finally throwing in the towel. Food quality has become wildly inconsistent and I've had multiple orders were incorrect in the last year. I even had a reasonable phone chat with whoever was managing the shop about 8 months ago and they swore they were working towards improving the issues. Tonight I show up and my order is screwed up again. I'm done. Thanks for roughly four decent years, Scotty. You've lost my business.

The first time I tried it it was excellent the second time wasn't bad either . But it seems like the pizza has been going downhill , and one time the driver forgot our bread things that we ordered and we had to take a credit with which we were really looking forward to them . I understand that happens but this last time took the cake . They charge $5 for delivery so we didn't feel that we needed to do a tip the driver had the audacity to come back after we didn't put a tip on the credit card receipt and asked us if we forgot the tip . That is really bold and a big turn off . I understand that these people look for tips to make their wages but they ought to take that up with their employer cuz the employer is charging five bucks for a delivery

So, to start, the pizza is very good. Every variety is solid and their wings are excellent as well. The garlic bread is mediocre, but it's garlic bread so that just kind of is what it is.
The prices are higher than most places, but for the most part you get what you pay for. In my experience, the quality of the food outweighs the extra cost. But if you're feeding a family of 4 expect to pay $50 or more.
The real knock on this place: I have no idea how a business operating in 2022 needs 2+ hours to make an order. If they're that busy, you'd think they could get another oven or hire more staff. We're probably done ordering from here for awhile after our last takeout experience. We ordered at 4pm. Had a scheduled pickup time of 5:20pm. Arrived at 5:25 and had to wait until 6pm for the food to be done. Staff weren't unfriendly but also offered no apology for such an insane wait...we could have gone to a restaurant, had a sit down meal (for about the same price), paid, and been home in the amount of time it took them to make TWO pizzas.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Matthew B.Milwaukee, WI0191Sep 22, 2023
Good food, good enough you may have to wait a while to get it, but it's worth it. On the pricy side for pizza imo... on the other hand it's on par with other non pizza restaurants nowadays. Better than pizza chan pizza for sure but they are at least 2 other pizza restaurants i prefer.

I ordered pizza here and was excited to try it since word of mouth was that they have good pizza for a reasonable price. I called and placed the order and went to pick it up when they said it would be ready. Once I got home I opened the box and saw that it was loaded with cheese which didn't bother me initially because cheese is delicious however the cheese was not great and actually caused stomach issues. I would be willing to try here again in 6 months or a year but be warned they have a lot of cheese - more than the usual amount places put on.
