Not sure what to think actually... I went here for lunch with my wife and father in-law as we were just driving around and I guess it was alright because we ate all the pizza.
The place is small. Very small. There are a couple tables out back and then a couple tables inside as well but I don't see how two groups could sit at the tables at the same time.
Anywho onto the zah. The chef claims he doesn't like to add salt because it is bad for you, which is alright I guess. However all three of us ended up adding salt to our pizza because it just didn't have the flavor something made with salt has. We also liked adding honey to our pizza along with the secret sauce he keeps in a plastic pitcher behind the counter.
If you get a chance try the almond frosting brownies... Delightful.
Also this place closes for the winter starting Oct. 3rd so keep that in mind as well.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Marian G.Newburgh, NY443616Aug 23, 2015
Delicious!!! I stop here with my sister in law every time I am in town.
I had a single slice, made to order with Canadian bacon and caramelized onions on the buttermilk whole wheat crust. It could not have been more freshly prepared--nice and crispy at the edges. The caramelized onions were to die for.
Don't miss the desserts-- I tried a bar with peanuts on top that was delicious!
Doyle, the owner, made my visit a friendly and entertaining experience-- I left there smiling.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rachel B.Minneapolis, MN110214194Jun 8, 2014
This place was an adorable surprise that we stumbled on as we drove through the Onamia area. Inside this small place in the middle of old downtown Onamia is a guy who's been making pizza here from May to October for the past 30 years. He made us a scrumptious pizza covered with fresh veggies on really good whole wheat crust, and served with some funky honey mustard dipping sauce. He also gave us and another travelling family a complementary brownie. Seriously, if you're driving through, don't bother stopping at Subway when this fun little gem is just a minute off of 169.

Amazing as always. "Doyle-icious" and any toppings on the buttermilk whole wheat crust. Must do in this little town

FYI for patrons of Pizza Plus: Doyle sold Pizza Plus in January. He has no details about the new owner's future plans. Thank you, loyal patrons, for all the support you gave to Doyle over the years!!

Best. Pizza. Ever. Veggie on homemade whole wheat, bbq chicken, it's all amazing. Even more amazing is the entertainment of Chez Doyle. And the brownies.

Excellent pizza, we had spinach and chicken with cream cheese to top - yum. Kids had cheese. Picky eaters and the kids said they didn't like it, they LOVED it :). Will stop again and great service.
