      Pulled in to the holiday inn on w Layton to wait for a flight last night. Hungry so ordered a pizza from the Pizza Hut. In 58 years of life, and having eaten a whole lot of pizza, this was absolutely the worst pizza I had ever had. It took over an hour to get out, was 25 bucks with the tip, and was cold and dry and awful to eat. I had about two bites of two pieces of the whole pie and then just gave up it was so horrible. They clearly don't care what their food tastes like. I also wish I had photographed pizza, as I got it with spinach, and They just threw raw spinach on top of the pizza, Which you can imagine how that tasted on top of the rock hard cold pizza.

      Placed my order at 11 am. This was supposed to be free because they messed up my last order, but I have to order $16 worth of food to meet the delivery limit. Ok fine, done. I scheduled it for 6 PM and I did it this way because I was also required to ore order. Fine. So at 6:15 in tracking it still says making! I call and all that I'm told it oh yeah it's still in the cue, hasn't even been started. I express this is ridiculous and he tells me he can't give me a discount because it's already paid by credit and since this was a free pizza already he can't do that either. And maybe my order will be here within the hour. Omg! I will never order from Pizza Hut again!!

      Horrible.

      Poor customer service, no interest in making a mad situation better.

      Entirely unreliable.

      Placed an order online. Ordered at 12:48 PM. After 20 mins no update on my order. Called the location at 25 mins.

      I asked on my status and they claimed I did not want my order till 2 PM. I never wrote that in or selected a time for my order. I told them it was entirely not true.

      Then they claimed because I had modified my order BEFORE I submitted it that it held up my order. Also untrue, because my order does not submit unless I actually SUBMIT IT, which I had not.

      Essentially, someone dropped the ball and wasn't watching the online orders.

      I gave them the shot to make it right just by getting my order to me as quickly as possible (I live about 10 mins from the location.) - The response? "We can't do that for you."

      Keeping in mind, I was kind on the phone all throughout. People deserve respect.

      I cancelled my order and Pizza Hut has lost a customer forever. Nice work Pizza Hut on S. 27th!

      Those of you who follow my Yelp action (so, nobody...come on, I don't take myself that seriously) know I don't tend to review chains unless I have a really weird experience that needs mentioned.

      This is my Pizza Hut. I order from here when I want cheap pizza--once about every three months or so. I don't expect much from the Hut and usually I get exactly what I expect. At least they usually meet or do better than their delivery estimates.

      Tonight though, weird.

      I got two pizzas because they're having a promotional deal. A medium thin crust meatball and spinach and a medium salami and onion pan pizza.

      I'll be attaching a picture of the first, because I've never seen anything like this. It's not something I care enough about to make a complaint, but the spinach is just thrown on top, added after the pizza finished cooking. Usually (and in the past even from this location) if you order spinach on a pizza they throw it on before it finishes cooking. It gets a little singed around the edges, melts into the cheese and it's nice. In this case if I pick up a slice it all falls off. That's disappointing.

      They put less salami on a medium than their website's picture indicated (and they arranged it in a way where there's no meat on four out of eight slices), but I imagine that's a corporate policy or something. Oh well.

      Unfortunately,  the spinach all fell off.

      If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible staff very rude and hung up on me. I ordered delivery and they called me saying they couldn't deliver the pizza because the driver called in sick. That is not my fault. Maybe they need backups and reliable staff. I run a business and I can't cancel services because irresponsible people call in. Now I have 6 disappointed children who wanted pizza. Will never order from here again

      Awful delivery experiences. They have me a voucher for a free pizza because my previous order was late by over 45 minutes. So, I decide to use that voucher today, but had to order wings so that it would meet the minimum charge for delivery. Food gets here and I open everything up, and above wings!!! Talk about strike 2 and 3. I've even used Grub Hub in the past to get food from this location, and even they don't like going there

      This place is AWFUL. RUDE STAFF. Slowest delivery ever and attitudes all around. You are promised a delivery time and it will be 30 minutes to an hour late. You call and get an attitude. Pizza is ALWAYS cold. Wings are ALWAYS cold. Service is ALWAYS cold. You see the theme here? Terrible. I have given them chance after chance and I will give no more.... F- Bad AVOID!

      I thought I'd try the new menu. I'm happy to report it's really tasty. The pizza was delivered right when it said it would be. The minus is the pizza was not made correctly. It was admittedly complicated if you were not familiar with the new pizzas on the menu. They gave me a credit for next time with little fuss.

      This is the worst experience of food ordering I have ever had in my life!! I ordered a pizza that was supposed to be here in an hour (on a Thursday?) and after an hour and a half I finally called and nobody picked up the phone for ten minutes. I hung up, called back again, and someone picked up after 2 minutes. They claimed they were out of pan pizza (on a Thursday?) and had called me asking what else I'd wanted, but I had my phone next to me the whole time and I had NO MISSED CALL and NO VOICEMAIL. They offered a free thin crust pizza but it's 10:30 and they won't be here for another hour and I was hungry 2 hours ago. I can't even believe this. Never ordering from pizza hut again!
