Like a normal pizza express, looks very impressive as there is floor to ceiling windows all around and the atmosphere is very romantic.
However, service is at best average both times I have been here. Nothing wrong with that, but I thought it could be better. When I went to pick up pizzas for takeaway one day, they didn't even bother offering a bag for the 4 pizzas I had ordered, which I found it odd. They of course gave me one when I asked, but something simple like that should be part of the normal service, right?Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hazel N.London, United Kingdom7618392Nov 21, 2013
An oasis of calm in the madness that is Westfiled , Stratford. The usual cool, calming, 'though very 90s, blue and white colour scheme. Pleasant and efficient staff.
Consistent standard of food with all it's other outlets. However, none of the Pizza Expresses I've been to have been as good as the ones in Jersey.
The ones here are a bit soggy and almost bland by comparison. Hard to believe when it's all the same ingredients. but there you go!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anoop K.London, United Kingdom32180Jun 7, 2013
Came here last night on a sexy double-date.
Wasnt rammed which was nice, and we had a voucher - wooh!
My pizza was nice (Capricciosa), though I normally dislike anchovies this was good.
The service wasnt amazing, but it did look a little understaffed so felt a bit for the waitress who seemed to be a bit flustered.
We did erm..spot a few ants roaming on the floor and one on the table....but I think this may have been because we were quite close to a massive plant/mini tree, who knows.
It was 'A-OK'.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Samantha M.London, United Kingdom6662271Apr 28, 2014
Pizza Express have gluten free pizzas now! Last time I was in London they told me to bring in my own GF pizza base, so it's great to be able to now get a complete meal! The pizzas were absolutely delicious too, the pizza bases were yummy, and the toppings perfect. I'd like to see more gluten free options on the dessert menu. I'm a big brownie fan, but was gutted when I realised the only chocolate-y desert you could order was 'bite sized' and had to be ordered with a hot drink. The gluten free chocolate brownie would make a perfect GF dessert with a larger slice and some ice cream or something :) otherwise love this place!

Another branch of the pizzeria chain Pizza Express in Stratford's rather hilariously titled 'Cultural Quarter'. The branch is situated adjacent to the Picture House cinema meaning that it is a good place to eat if you are about to go and see a film there. It has floor to ceiling windows meaning that you can sit and people watch from your table, if that's your kind of thing.
The usual Pizza Express menu is served here with a pizza costing around £8. The service is speedy and efficient but not overly friendly and the place lacks any real atmosphere, but it's fine for fast food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (Claris…)London, United Kingdom1115Nov 25, 2011
