This is the second time I ordered in dc at a pizza bolis. I won't order from here again. I got 15 mild wings they put the sauce on the side and the wings were lukewarm. I'm done ordering from here and I don't recommend anyone ordering here either.

My friend and I stopped by a couple of hours ago and ordered a custom vegetarian calzone and a cheese jumbo slice. Glad I ordered the cheese, because my friend keeps kosher, and when we got back to his place, out in Rockville, we discovered the calzone had ham in it. Needless to say he was furious and we switched food because he couldn't eat the calzone with ham.

I get it is a quick and convenient place to eat, but when you specify vegetarian several times in the conversation, you expect it to be vegetarian.

The guy also said the calzone is made with tomato sauce ( which it isn't) even though calzones by definition rarely do. Just not very good attention to detail.

We would have gone back, but we were 40 minutes away by the time we noticed. Very unfortunate. I will definitely not be going back to this location. I'll be at the Tenleytown location next time.

The service was good. A little slow, but good. They were empty, so its kind of understandable, but still.

Always check your order thoroughly if it is anything but a slice of pizza!

Not so vegetarian calzone. My friend and I had to switch orders because he keeps kosher.

This is their large fries and over stuffed cheese steak. I ordered 2 half subs and a large fries 3.00 dollars to deliver and 1.25 tip but I had to come downstairs to pick it up total order 28.96 false advertising and yes I got punked; Save yourself go somewhere else.

DEAR LORD THIS PLACE IS THE BEST.

Maybe it was because I was drunk out of my mind.

Maybe it was because this place has been so hyped up in my brian, and it met every expectation.

Or maybe it was just because it really was just that amazing.

After partying out all night long, sometimes all you want is a fatty, greasy slice of heaven that is bigger than the size of my face to make your night complete. It's not supposed to be vegan, gluten-free, oil and fat free. It's a late night pizza place. What do you expect?

It appears to be THE place to go once all the bars do last call. By about 1am-ish, the line was out the door. It's a grab and go place, but they do have a few tables if you want to sit and stuff your face. Being from the West Coast, I'm not used to supersized pizza. I've learned to fold and bite :)

For $5 (cash only, but ATM outside), I was quite a happy camper by the end of the night.

      Ah greasy goodness

      Loves it!

Thin crust style is my favorite - god this saved my life so many times after a night of drinking. I would probably enjoy it sober too.

Biggest damn slice of pizza ever and still manages to be quite tasty. But seriously, how can you eff up pizza?

Pizza so big it barely fits in my phone
I don't want to meet the guy that can eat a whole pie.

Drunk or sober, Pizza Boli is pretty damn good. I ordered from here after a notably stressful day at home sick from work when I literally could not find ANYWHERE that would deliver before 5:00 p.m. Even Papa John's screwed me over (something about a broken credit card machine... a likely story?)

Pizza Boli happily took my order, showed up in less time than estimated, and the delivery guy even came all the way into the building and up to my unit when I begged him (too sick to move & all that). The BBQ chicken pizza I ordered was crazy-messy & had tomatoes atop it instead of onions, but I was willing & able to overlook both small faults to enjoy this delish pizza. And yes, it cost me $22, total, for a small pizza & one measly can of Pepsi, but it was good enough (& I was hungry/exasperated enough) that I didn't care.

Oh, & bonus: It lasted me for three days. Love me some leftovers!

I got a coupon in the mail for a free medium cheese pizza. So I figured hey, why not?

I called and placed an order for delivery. In addition to the free pizza, I ordered a 5-piece wing - hot, with blue cheese. After a bit of a struggle to convey what I wanted, it came time to pay. It literally took over 10 minutes for the staffer to process my order and payment. I must have read my credit card number to her at least 20 times.

So about 30 minutes later, I get a call from the delivery guy. He wants me to come down to the street and get the order from him. What kind of delivery service is that? I refused and directed him to the garage attached to the building where he could quickly and safely park, enter the building, and come up the elevator. Several phone calls later, he still couldn't figure it out. Why kind of city delivery driver doesn't understand how to deliver to buildings in the city? And then he was calling the store and I was calling the store... It wasn't pretty.

After not hearing back from anyone for awhile, I called the store again. This time I was informed that the delivery guy was told to come back to the store, they were making me a new order, and would have a different delivery guy bring it. Nice that they did that. Would've been nice of them to let me know that without me having to call them.

Order arrives easily and smoothly with the next delivery driver. But the food... Well, it was pretty bad. The wings were terrible. Bad quality and no flavor. And the blue cheese dipping sauce was just a packet of Ken's blue cheese dressing. And the pizza was meh at best.

Bottom line, not a good experience and not good food.

The pizza wasn't all of that. Maybe there's a high turnover on the swine pizza but the plain slice was old and reheated. Pizza Boli's in Baltimore is much better although they don't have massive slices like this Pizza Boli's. I'd rather have better pizza than massive pizza. I walked up to the counter and said "Really?? So ya'll not gonna sweep the floor?" He just looked at me. So I continued to order my massive slice and backed up and slipped on a slice of pizza, still chilling on the plate... Food was served quickly except for the wings my friend order. Those wings were good af though. They were sweet.

This is some pretty good pizza. Its definitely not my top Adams Morgan pick, but it probably is a close second. (And that's probably b/c I've only eaten at 2 pizza spots in the area! LOL)

I called for a large cheese pizza for pickup and said I'd be there in 15 minutes or so. They said OK. I arrived on time but still had to wait 20-25 more minutes in the dining area before they were ready. What is the point of calling ahead, then?

Also, after 15-20 min they first brought out two slices of pizza and put it on the counter (I was there with my gf), but I reminded them I had ordered a large pizza for takeout. The guy kind of smiled and then took them back. What was that about?? There had been no other customers throughout this time period so there was no possibility these slices were not meant for us.

Additionally, there were about 5 workers and a few children standing behind the counter just socializing. Not sure how it would actually take 45 minutes for a pizza shop to bake a cheese pizza.

Ps, we did try to use the $5.99 for large cheese carryout coupon on the back of the Safeway receipt. They confirmed over the phone that they were honoring it. Perhaps, they were being passing aggressive about the coupon.

The pizza itself was not bad though, so I will give them 2/5 stars. Pretty thick layer of cheese. The experience itself was just marred by questionable service.
