They office staff and roofers at Pioneer are incredibly professional. They helped me out with a roof inspection on a house I was purchasing and they dealt with a difficult and angry seller with a calm, cool attitude when they could have just taken off. They did everything they said they would do and they did it on when they said the would. I found their pricing very reasonable. No complaints from me.

I had Pioneer roofers install a membrane roof about 10 years ago.  It must not have been installed correctly because very large sections of the plywood underneath it is rotting out in several places.  I called several times and left several emails before I got any type of response.  Finally someone did speak to me, saying the owner would give me a call.  It never happened.  I wasn't even really looking to have it repaired under warranty, I just wanted them to help troubleshoot what went wrong and the best way to fix it.  But I guess they were so freaked out about having to stand behind their work that they ghosted me.  Very unprofessional.

About seven years ago we had Pioneer Roofers install a new IB Tradition membrane roof on our one level ranch style home. We have a very low pitch and conventional shingles were not appropriate.  The IB membrane comes with a lifetime warranty against defects. Pioneer's labor warranty is for 5 years. These warranties are fair and we have no complaints. Membrane roofs are expensive though. Our little 1100 Sq. ft. house cost $15.3K to roof with the membrane. Until now the membrane has held up well and weathered well. Now, however, we seem to have a little leak. This isn't a huge deal, and I have come to understand that a simple heat applied patch is used (similar to a bike tire patch, I suppose). I'd be happy with that.

Our problem with Pioneer Roofers is that they now want $350.00 for the first hour of a service call. This includes the inspection to see what the problem is. After an hour the rate drops to $150 per hour plus materials. This seems very excessive for a seven year old roof with a lifetime warranty.

Needless to say, I'll be looking elsewhere for my roofing needs in the future. I may be wrong, but I suspect that Pioneer is simply not interested in doing repair work, and charges so heavily in order to drive that business away. It certainly worked with us.

So here is a word of warning about Pioneer Roofers. They seem to do a good job initially, but  don't ask them to return and inspect or repair their work unless you have some very deep pockets.

Pioneer was great!  Due to the crazy weather this past weekend, our roof had some serious injuries...I called on a Sunday (of course everyone is closed) and received a phone call right away from Mike.  Mike was honest and gave real time suggestions and notified me that we should be ok till the next day.  So we scheduled my appt the next day.  Dave from Pioneer was prompt in calling me early this morning; he and his team went to our house and corrected the issue.  These guys are great and gave us a reasonable price.  I will definitely utilize these guys again.
