Fun, chill artsy place! Get your inner Monet mode on and paint away. You don't need to be an expert.
Location- 4890 Big Island Jacksonville FL 32246.
Interior- inside of course is artsy with paintings all around the walls. They have easels set up with your own paintbrush cups. And the paint colors needed to use for the specific painting. There is a section to your right where you can bring your own drinks and snacks and sip and snack while you paint. The place is just right. Not too big and not too small.
Vibe- the place is chill and fun. It's a bit intimidating at first but the steps the instructor gives you is easy with easy steps to take. You will be surprised at how your results will turn out. It's fun, social and it unlocks your creative side. The instructor was going slow but easy step by step so it was easier than expected.
Cost was about 35.00 but a unique experience to last a lifetime with a great masterpiece. Thanks Pinot's pallets!!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Sep 19, 2019
I recently celebrated my Birthday here with my ladies. We all had so much F U N . We set up our own little station with wine and snacks. They provide wine glasses so that's a plus. We all preregistered and paid ahead of time. We had the 8:30-10:30pm session, so we got the whole place to ourselves.
Shout out to our instructor for being so patient and detail. She was great at giving instructions on how to paints, since it was my first time, it took me a while to get all of the techniques down but the result was great. And most importantly, we all had fun painting and mingling while sipping on our wine.
I highly recommend this place if you like some fun A R T and creativity. Check out site and reserve the seat before you go so you can pick out which painting you like to paint.
$35 per person. Sign up online to get discounts for your birthday 25%. Unfortunately, I didn't get the email until a week later so I wasn't able to use it for my visit. But it's definitely worth signing up for.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 1819133114900Jan 6, 2019
On my second trip to Pinot's Palette I was attending a Relay for Life charity event. Parts of the proceeds were donated to the American Cancer Society.
Our instructor was sweet, attentive and helpful! We were painting a polar bear with a winter scene. There was a small group of us, maybe 10, so it was a more intimate experience than my first time with the Yelp Jax crew.
This was my fourth time doing an event like this in the past year-and-a-half so I'm getting a little better each time LOL. It's fun because each painting is a new challenge. Challenging my creative side.
All the events I have attended have been BYOB (wine). But I've heard that some venues are working to obtain a license to serve wine. This may change the experience financially. We shall see.
They did a few raffles and I won. I spun the wheel to determine my prize. I was able to choose a free painting from the instructor's stash. I chose a fall scene.
If you haven't tried a paint and sip yet, maybe because you feel you do not have any artistic ability, don't fear! Most of us don't lol. But with instruction you will be fine and you will have fun!Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 14Oh no 0 - Jul 15, 2018
We had a great date night here. He'd been mentioning wanting to try one of these paint and sip activities so when he was in town for his birthday, I arranged for us to try this. It happened to be over a Valentine's Day weekend so the theme was all about love.
Neither of us is very artistic, and looking around, many others there that night weren't either. But, it didn't matter. Do you remember the paint by numbers kits from childhood? Well, this is just one level more advanced than that. By following our instructor's directions, we ended up with respectable paintings that fit together well. It was certainly not a masterpiece but it was nice. More importantly, it was a lot of fun!
Bring your own beverage and they'll supply everything else, including the glasses. They even gave him a cute gift bag and note for his birthday. To top the evening off, when we finished, I stopped in next door at BurgerFi for a little dessert.
This is a good option for an outing with friends, families, or significant others.Helpful 16Thanks 0Love this 15Oh no 0 - 240200332Sep 22, 2018
I took myself on a date tonight, and it was awesome. I got to be creative, have a glass of wine, and leave with a souvenir that I actually want to hang in my house! The staff are patient, attentive, and detailed in giving instruction, and the music playing in the background is on point!
At first, I thought the price point was pretty high, but if I wanted to buy my own materials and recreate the experience at home, I'd spend half the cost of the class but I'd have no teacher guiding me through each step, no DJ working the soundtrack, and most importantly, no one else to clean up the mess afterward (both paint & dishes)!
Factoring in the value of the whole experience m, this is a great girls night out with a crew, or a great mom night out flying solo if you're like me.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 7, 2017
Man, what a great drunken way to catch up with your girlfriends.
You sign up for a class online. Pay and just show up with as much alcohol as you can handle. They have glasses by the front as well as ice buckets. I, as an avid wine lover made a mistake by showing up without a drop of alcohol. I was running late. Why? One look at my EVEN cat eyes you will see. Perfection takes time, the ladies knows.
It is actually pretty spacious in there. You get tons of arm and leg room just in case you need to let out a punch or kick when you mix the color wrong. I did just that. 5 times. Half way through the class, I was getting a little thirsty. Ok, I lied. I was getting jealous of all the happy giggity girls with wine in their hands. During break (you get a 15 minute break half way through) I asked the host, where can I wet my whiskers? She nonchalantly disclose to me that they pair up with BurgerFi next door that if you buy two glasses, they'll send the remaining bottle for free. GIRL, WHAT?
There was tears brimming on my eyes, I rejoiced in the name of the wine God and prance my happy little sober ass over to BurgerFi. The rest of the class was great. Lindsey was very informative. She had a fantastic sense of humor and all around super. I also saw a few people brought in chocolate, crackers and charcuterie. They is fancy. You do you, girls!
PS, if your man said this is only for girls, they're wrong. There was plenty of men in there against their will. I kid! Go have fun!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 2874541427Nov 25, 2018
We had a really great time - I have been watching their calendar for awhile and as soon as I saw this nights painting, I knew it was time! Friends, cocktails, painting - what more could you ask for!? I love my finished product. I would do this again and again!
I think the space is a bit small and cramped. For newbies like us, there is a lot going on with the plates of paint, mixing, paper towels, water cup for brushes, etc and it just didn't feel like enough space per person. It also felt a bit rushed - I think the goal of starting and stopping on time forced a very rushed experience...maybe they should build in an extra thirty minutes? I also wish the instructor and helper were more...helpful. We spent a lot of time saying, "what did he say?" "how did he do that?" and the helper just sat at the desk unless you needed something. It would have been more helpful (since they said she was an artist) if she would have milled around and provided some commentary. Finally, they sent out a survey that asked if the instructor was 'entertaining' and the answer to that is no. It was a very dry experience, but honestly, I didn't expect him to be a comedian!
Despite the above, I really did enjoy the experience. Having an opportunity to express yourself creatively in a relatively safe way, is a blessing.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - May 30, 2018
I was cautious, i know, everyone drops $45 to paint, but hold up, this really was fun. Plus, we all liked our paintings even the next day!! You can bring wine, they provide everything else and some painting experts drop by and make sure are a-ok during the event. Totally recommend!!

Very good time at Pinots! We had a work event there and had 21 people at one time. The art instructors were patient and helpful. There were 2 instructors and They each rotate either instructing or walking around and giving tips. There was a point where we need to allow the paint the dry and instead of having us just sit there, they had some fun interactive group games and prizes! Everyone's painting turned out great and everyone had a blast. Great time! Would recommend to anyone for any event and fun activity.
