I ordered 2 Vegan pizzas and 2 carnivore. With that, my pizza is so flavorful: (vegan)...daiya, bbq sauce, mushrooms, pineapple, red onions, garlic, & banana peppers so I don't 4get; for my mini-princess almost the same but swapped mushrooms for bells, no peppers or garlic and added bbq sauce on top; son had a specialty - the Butcher's choice and my oldest like lady had the Smokin' Buffalo. Vegans and son absolutely love the pizza! Oldest daughter, we are waiting to hear hehe. Far as customer service: not the best but certainly not the worst. Their very focused on duties, not really customer interactions. Establishment is family friendly with exception of bigger families that can't combine tables and figure out how to fit. I sat near hall toward restroom, not to many over powering bad odors.
I ordered via pick up and it was for the most part on time.
I would recommend this place when you want fresh, personal pizzas that you can customize or go with Butcher's selections.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 16, 2017Updated review
I still remember when Pieology first opened up, I found myself so "star struck" by the food and affordability that I made frequent visits once every 2 weeks or so. I've even brought a handful of buddies and introduced them to this Chipotle- style business of pizza and converted them into die-hard fans as well.
I'm not too sure when I began to steer away from this establishment but after a long break, I found myself here at the butt of the long line that wraps around the business.
Be advised that the long lines move fairly quickly so do not let it's lengthy size deter you from coming in and enjoying your own personal pizza.
Gluten free crust in available upon request and if you are feeling a bit adventurous i highly recommend you try the Chef-Inspired pizzas. The Spicy Italian is to die for and hits the spot if you're into some extra heat. This pie comes equipped with marinara sauce, spicy sausage, salami, mozzarella, basil, garlic, chili flakes, and garlic herb butter (i made an additional request for added pepperoni). B O M B.
5 stars because the service is fast, efficient, and there is never a bad outcome when you have the complete freedom to personalize your house-made pie. Top on as many sauces as you wish, create your own assortment blend of cheeses, and the possibilities for toppings are endless- whats not to love?Helpful 15Thanks 0Love this 15Oh no 0Business owner information

District mangerOct 5, 2013Previous reviewHands down, the best freaking pizza I have ever had. Wonderful food, service, and hangout joint!
Finally had the time to finally check this spot out. It's been on my list for quite some time now thanks to all the hype I've been hearing.
Made my own pizza with herb butter, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese with a sprinkling of ricotta
Piled on my toppings with bacon, chicken, sausage, and pepperoni. A MEAT LOVERS PARADISE.
Added on olives, garlic, jalapenos, fresh basiL, pineapple, and artichoke. PILED THAT BABY ON HIGH.
The lady got their organic chicken salad and with raspberry vinaigrette. I have to admit, even the salad was quite tasty!
If you haven't tried this spot.. It's a MUST!! pretty noisy and crowded but it's definitely. an experience you won't forget.. And neither will your tastebuds - Jun 30, 2017
This location has been my designated go-to build your own pizza place for quite a few years now. And I have definitely started to notice a decline in their service. I admit the latest time I came in was around ~2:30pm, so I came between lunch and dinner times. But they only had two workers helping customers out, which is obviously not enough with all the work they have to do. As there was a line to the door by the time we got to the register.
They were also out of so many meats/vegetables that I wanted which was quite disappointing. Being constantly told "we actually ran out, sorry", isn't something you want to be told multiple times. Also the workers seemed stressed, unhappy and tired which doesn't add to the already lacking service being provided; but it was understandable considering their situation. The tables were unclean and the server thought I asked for the rising crust, which I didn't so I had to pay an extra dollar (it was actually good, so I am glad she misheard me lmao!). Their pizzas are still good though! But I hope the next time I return their service has some form of improvement, since as of lately it has been a little underwhelming.

Pizza isn't usually my go-to for eating out, but I do like places that let me customize my meal in a Subway-style sense. Plus the pizzas are made to order and you can add whatever toppings you want for a fixed price of $8. Not bad for a good quality personal pizza, knowing that the Paxti's next to me will charge $14 for a personal pizza. The pizzas are thin crust and wood-fired, so they have a nice crispy char on the bottom. Honestly it's hard to rate a place like this for the food - your mileage will vary based off of your combination. The process is simple:
- Pick your crust: I go for the original. They have a glutten free option that's like, $1 more!
- Pick your olive oil/butter for the crust: Definitely start with the garlic butter on your crust - it'll make it sooo good. It doesn't add much grease in the long run,
- Pick your sauce: I've had the red sauce and alfredo sauce as my base. I prefer the alfredo sauce - it just seems tastier and rich.
- Pick your toppings: Go nuts! I usually just ask them to put all the veggies and add bacon, sausage, and pepperoni for my meats. If I get the alfredo sauce then I'll just do sausage, bacon, and chicken.
- Pick your flavor blast (optional): I get the pesto on the side! great for dipping it into.
For those of you who have a hard time making decisions, they have "premade" combinations you can order from, but I think it's more fun to build your own and that's the appeal of these types of places.
-1 star because this the staff has a hard time keeping up with demand. Granted, I went during Pi Day and that took forever (1.5 hours to get my pizza and the line wasn't that long relative to what it could be) - you'd think they'd be prepared when they set their pizzas for $3.14. But even during regular hours they seem really slow.
The 2nd time I ordered online and had to wait 10 minutes for my pizza, despite specifying when I would arrive (I came 5 minutes earlier). Walk-ins also took awhile and the line got backed up - I suppose their motto isn't "superfast pizza" like another pizza place across the street. I'd recommend coming here during the off hours or ordering online in advance, otherwise the lunch rush must be terrible here.
If you have the time or order online, then by all means come here. $8 for a personal customized pizza beats the $14 I'd get from a restaurant. Parking is also pretty terrible in the plaza they're in since there's a fitness gym nearby... so expect to circle around finding parking during peak times, particularly weekday afternoons.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Apr 13, 2017
It's just pizza, right? Well it's MY pizza. The place is clean, fast and offers enough variety for my whole family. Wheat, white, gluten free. Sausage, pepperoni, basil. Whatever you want! I had mine done a little extra crispy too.
The food is good, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is fast. No wonder these are popping up everywhere.
You know, this isn't my first build your own pizza rodeo. I've also tried Blaze and Mod. Both are comparable, but I give the edge to Blaze. Why? No reason. Maybe on my Blaze and Mod reviews I give the edge to Pieology. lol.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 9, 2017
Love the idea of just making your own pizza. Don't need to settle or sacrifice on any toppings. They got a good amount of toppings for you to choose from. Love how they make your crust right in front of you. The thin crust is so crispy that it's not messy when you eat. When the crust is crispy, your toppings are less likely to fall off.
The service and staff are great here.
I had an amazing experience here. I'm sure you will too :)

First time at Pieology! I've been to Blaze several times but not here. Found out they also have a create your own salad option for $9.25, pricey but the greens are fresh. They ran out of spring mix (looks like it contains arugula), so we got half romaine half spinach.
Ordered an Alfredo white sauce pizza topped with olives, artichoke hearts, spinach, mozzarella, chicken, and meatballs they crumble on the spot. Simple but pretty good! I especially liked the meatballs.
They have prepackaged salads in the fridge case with drinks. We got a chicken Caesar along with two create your own salads. Their Caesar and ranch dressings don't taste that great. The ranch was missing flavor, kind of sour? We had to use our own buttermilk ranch at home.
Hot weather outside, warm inside because of the oven.
Only five people were ahead of us pointing to toppings when we got in line, but our single pizza took ~7 minutes before boxing. I'll remember this experience--the couple in front of us asked me to take their pic with their grandson working behind the topping bar. Nice people.
Pizza was good. I'd hate to be in line during rush hour with that temperature. Keep it cool inside.

Fast, easy, and convenient. Hate to compare to subway, but it the logistics are the same! Wheat or white? Cheese? What kind of cheese? Toppings? Which one and how many? Alright, what kind of meat? All of them? Okay sure.
Then you pay for your pie and wait 5 minutes as they push your pizza into a fiery metal oven. So what do you do while you wait? Get a drink of course. They have plenty of drink selections. The extras? The flavored teas and lemonade. I chose the mango ice tea and loved it.
$7.50 for a whole pizza? Mhmm! sign me up. Other reviews say that this location has long lines. I can't blame them, I'm pretty impatient as well but realize that this Pieology is located near a lot of business.
So I guess the next question is, is it worth the wait? Yes.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Dec 1, 2017
I've been here twice and I love their pizza. Only reason I don't come here more is cause most of the time the lines here is pretty long and there's other food places in the same Plaza. The inside gots Plenty of seating also there's a few little tables on the outside. Here's how it works you wait in line tell them what you want on your customize pizzas or you can order the ones that they built and already know what to put on it. I went with the one they build, the spicy Italian it had Pepporoni, SpicySausage ,mushroom pesto and other good stuff on it, it lwas really good. Only down side to this place is the long lines and the parking, sometime you got to drive around just to find a park cause the parking is Share with the gym and other food places here. I will be back it the line no that long when I come here.

I'm still a fan of Pieology Pizza.
I had Mod Pizza months ago but it pales in comparison to Pieology. Tonight I had a craving for pizza and was going to go to Mod's Pizza since I was on that side of the street; however, I was drawn to go back to Pieology because their crust is crisp and I love their red sauce.
There are no more menu so you order off their set menu or customize your pizza. I chose Butcher's Choice because I love pepperoni and sausage. The additional meat was the meatball. Even though it sounded like it's a lot for this speciality pizza, it wasn't. I manage to eat 1/2 the thin crust pizza and not feel guilty about it.
If you're in the mood for a tasty and lighter tasting pizza place, Pieology is it.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 12, 2014Previous reviewI love their pizza and was there the 2nd week when they opened. My favorite pizza is # 2. The pizza crust is to die for with the sauce and crumbled sausages to top off the taste! Lines were out the door and always busy. You're lucky to find a time in between the day to avoid the long wait.
The long wait is worth it but sometimes we need a break from standing long so Pieology finally added pick-up orders, yay!
