For West LA this is pretty good. 1) the broth is pretty flavorful in beef and herb flavor, you don't need to flavor it too much with sriracha or hoisin. 2) $8 a bowl, not bad compared to some $15 pho places in West LA.
Don't think it's really authentic because I can hear the waiters speaking Thai, but I think for West LA this is probably as good as you can get Pho. Also doesn't hurt that I live down the street from this place, so it's an easy go to spot for hangover cures.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Feb 29, 2024
Foodie Adventures with these ladies
Always itching to find good Vietnamese spots.
This place had a good amount of seating. We came on a Saturday evening around 6:30pm. There were some others, but not packed. It's located in a small strip with little parking, so we parked on the street which was easy.
Food was good and service was pleasant.
It had been raining so this combo was so soup was what was needed.
I have definitely had better Phở broth, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't come back. It was still good. I'm a big broth critic.
Everything overall was good.
The wings had too much coconut for me though.
Our order:
* You know we gettin' Phở combo - no tripe plz
* Japanese Matcha Beer - Light Hop, Matcha, 8.5% ABV, gorgeous green
* House Special Noodles - Egg noodle, shrimp, crab meat, chicken, fish cake, fish ball, boiled egg and bok choy in clear broth
* Egg Roll Noodle Salad aka Bún Chả Giò
* Tamarind Coconut Wings - Crispy chicken wings with house tamarind sauce, coconut flakes, fried chili, cripy onion - too much coconut, too sweet and the wings were tiny so we basically ate coconut shredsHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Feb 13, 20241 check-in
Ambiance: it's a family style Vietnamese restaurant, good for small group and take out orders
Service: very friendly although a bit slow, it took a while for food to be served
Food: variety choices on their menu for Vietnamese and Thai food
SUPER COMBINATION PHO - **** Beef Back ribs, Rare steak, Beef balls, Tripe, Brisket and Tendon, great combination of meat, recommend
SPICY BASIL WITH CRISPY PORK - **** STIR FRIED ONION, BELL PEPPER, GREEN BEAN AND BASIL WITH CRISPY PORK, chewy and flavorful pork, recommend
Price: moderate portions and affordable prices, about $20 per person for a hearty mealHelpful 10Thanks 4Love this 10Oh no 0 - Apr 19, 2023
A solid choice for the area.
Some things are hit and miss - the chicken can be dry, the noodles can be alarmingly small portions in the vermicelli bowl - but... other than that the service is solid and kind, and I love stopping in for some honey ginger tea and pho.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 4, 2023
Legit food, good quality, delicious Fish Pho, has ginger pieces, crunchy garlic, made with celery and clear BUT flavorful broth - my new go to.
Healthy and good for sensitive stomachs.
All my go-tos for pho have been failing lately :(
Pho show in Culver city, pho ever in gardena. (Thumbs down)
So happy this place has remained consistent. (Thumbs Up)
Great menu options. Been a few times and everything is delicious. Infused water. Vietnamese tea and some alcohol options too.
Place is small, but is comfortable if you get a seat, might be best for takeout and service is not 5/5 but I'm not docking because it's not horrid either, just not overly friendly or fully English. But everything is delivered timely and I can't complain.
Bathroom on site but also not 5/5 for that.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 39226239Oct 28, 2023
Solid place for pho. No frills. Come here for the good. A bowl of pho will set you back $15-22. I had the veggie version - I'd say pretty good after you put in a bunch of hoisin and sriracha. Sister had the beef and said it was solid too

Best pho in the Culver City area. Pad Thai is also great. Fast, cheap, easy, no frills.

The chicken pho is good. I like it has long shredded white breast meat. The filet mignon pho is also good as well as the tofu veggie pho. I really like their spring rolls. You can get prawn, veggie a variety. This is good because most Vietnamese places only have pork and shrimp. The dining room is simple and clean. Don't know why they had a ladder in there . There is a decent sized parking lot in front. It will be busy but eventually a space opens up. I'll be back!
