      I called this location three time during the weekend to speak to customer service but no one answered. So I went to the location to shop for hamster. I was looking for a female hamster but they had wrong gender ' male ' sign for ' female ' sign. And when I asked to see the hamster, they had a wrong type of dwarf hamster inside the cage despite the type of hamster sign posted. They look alike so mistake can happen but they are professional, so this made me feel little uneasy to buy from them. I just waked out w/o buying Hamster.

      Store was nice and clean but information were wrong and I didn't like the wire wheel is being used for small hamster. The hole of wire wheel is too big for dwarf hamster. Many of Petsmart used to used plastic wheel and/or expensive silent wheel, but almost all Petsmart I visited in OC, they had wire wheel for all hamster.

      I would do zero as we never received any service, only excuses.

      I had yet another disappointing "horrible" experience at the Foothill Ranch Petsmart store, to share.
      We have a 50 lb black standard poodle. Beautiful dog with an exceptionally beautiful gentle personality. I scheduled a 10:30 am Sunday March 24th appointment for a bath and cut. I dropped my dog Buddy, off at 10:30 as scheduled, then I received a call at 2:00 pm, 3 1/2 hrs later, to inform me that Buddy had pooped in his wire cage, where he had been "stored" for 3 1/2 hrs, and that he was stressed, so they were not going to bath and cut him and for me to come and pick Buddy up. They told me that I needed schedule an "express" appointment for Buddy. So I picked Buddy up. He was fine and not stressed at all. He was stinky, had pop on him, and long white dog hair all over him.

      Silly me, I thought I had scheduled an appointment for him to be bathed and groomed at 10:30, not placed in a wire cage for 3 1/2 hours and then sent home untouched, dirty and smelly. When I arrived at Petsmart to pick up Buddy, I noticed that the young man who was supposed to groom him, the guy with the oversized earlobe earrings, was not there. Looked to me as if they left Buddy locked up in a wire cage for 3 1/2 hours and the guy who was supposed to groom him left.

      This is outright abusive to the animals and the owners. Looks like Petsmart Foothill Ranch is really racking up a bunch of bad reviews and rightfully so. This is our 3rd really bad experience there. Needless to say, that is enough for us. We are done with Petsmart Foothill Ranch. I intend to follow up with a complaint to corporate, because their history gives every indication that they could care less about the animals and customers that they abuse on a regular basis.

      I would give ZERO stars if I could. We took our two dogs each for a 3 hour grooming treatment. One was a 5 month old puppy, the other an 11 year old timid female. Two hours into their grooming, we get a call that the puppy is scared of the dryer - so we hurry up dinner to go grab the dogs. The 11 year old dog is so poorly groom that from about 2 inches from her tail all the way down her back legs she is totally not brushed. I brushed her myself for 15 minutes the next morning and I filled an entire grocery bag with fur. The puppy was wet - not brushed at all and they didn't even clean her ears. $200 plus tip and here I am, cleaning and brushing my dogs. Don't go here. Total waste of money. What a joke!

      All the fur that came off my dog with 15 minutes of brushing after I spent more than $100 getting her groomed.

      Our puppy is 5month, this is his 2nd time to have grooming at PetSmart. The staff told us he can only do a trim but still charge us full hair cut fee. When we asked him to switch the service from a hair cut to trim, he said he will do a hair cut (1 inch short) then. These were pictures after we picked him up, still long hair at the button of feet, no cleaning around his eyes, had dry poop around his anus, literally no changes in his body at all. We had the 1st trim with another girl, it wasn't like this at all. We are very upset with the service this time.

      Just used PetSmart grooming service for the first time for my two goldendoodles! One mini & one regular size. Ali did an absolutely incredible job. Better than any mobile grooming company that we have ever used. She was so kind and gentle to both the pups! Total time was around 3-4 hours for both pups. My smaller doodle had some matting on her back legs, but Ali worked so carefully to remove them! I will definitely take both pups back to Ali at petsmart!

      This is specific for petsmart grooming.
      Garrett was our groomer for Finley, she was so dirty, sticks stuck in her under coat, smelled of mildew from the lake water from our trip, and this guys did wonders on her! She smells great, looks beautiful, and is so happy.
      She has a bad leg right now which he was made aware of before hand and it seems he treated her kindly even with that going on. He really did such a wonderful job, I believe this is the second time he might have groomed her, I would absolutely take her back again to him!

      I would have given this store 2 stars if not for the customer service from the corporate office. About a month ago I ordered some dog food on a special promotion they had featuring 20% off and same day deliver for orders over $50.00. I placed my order on Sunday morning expecting delivery that same day. I received a purchase conformation from Door Dash. When no delivery came by 5:30 I called the store and offered to pick the merchandise up myself. They could not find any record of my order. So, they were unwilling to provide the merchandise even though I had paid for it. I did not receive the merchandise that Sunday and ended up driving to Ralphs to buy dog food as I was out.

      The following day I called the store again looking for the manager who tried to help but again could not find my order. Seems that orders being picked up by door dash go through a different system. The menage gave me their corporate customer service number to see if they could help. As I was on the phone with corporate the driver arrived at about noon with my goods.

      I was not very happy by having to buy dog food at Ralphs and with the misleading promotion. Seems that door dash runs their own delivery schedules and sometime chose not to provide the services they promise,

      The person from customer service was very understanding and helped me out by providing a gift card. This was nice but I would rather not have gone through the hassle.

      PetSmart needs to upgrade there computer systems so all the purchasing is integrated and give the managers the authority to make things right.

      The Customer Service number they gave me is 800-406-2155 in case others have a problem with this company.

      This is the review for the Pet Hotel. I recently boarded both my dog and cat for 2 nights on June 8-9, 2023.

      The following week, both my dog and cat now have some type of upper respiratory infection. My dog has been sneezing all week and basically spraying nasal discharge all over my house. My cat is also sneezing and has a runny nose and is having breathing issues.

      This is NOT cool since now I have to go to the vet to get them both evaluated. Petsmart needs to be more strict with their sanitation or evaluate dogs before they allow them into their facilities. I don't take my dog to the dog park and he has never been sick before. Only after I boarded him is he is sick.

      Update: 6/25/23

      My dog is still sick, and now he is doing a reverse sneeze and I need to take him to the vet to get him checked out before it gets any worse.

      Now here is the worst part, my cat had the cold too and he starting having severe breathing issues. As of today, I have spent over $16,000 (yes, not a typo, I will post the entire bill once my cat hopefully comes out of the hospital if he is lucky and survives) and counting in the pet ER here in Pasadena at Access, he currently has chest tubes in to drain a really horrible infection, we did multiple tests, eco, ct-scan, blood work, the list is endless, needle aspirate to do a biopsy since there is now a puss filled mass in his chest cavity, they also drained about 120ml of fluid and counting. They are also infusing him with antibiotics via IV and we are waiting for the culture and biopsy of the aspirate.

      I'm terms of timeline, we admitted my cat to the ER on 6/20/23.

      Both my cat and dog were not sick before I dropped them off here for 2 nights since they are both kept inside in the house and we do not take them to dog parks or daycare.

      I'm so pissed right now. My cat may not survive and now I need to take my dog in get him checked too. This is costing me a fortune. Be careful where you board your animals.

      Update: 6/28/23

      The doctor informed us that my Cat has pyothorax, a bacterial infection in the chest cavity. The left side of my cat has improved so they removed the chest tube. The right side is still producing some liquid/puss so they will need to do another tap to drain one last time before we can bring him today. There is a risk that the fluid will build up again, but at this point we just spent now over $18,000 and need to try treatment at home.

      Now that they treated my cat intensely with IV antibiotics, oxygen therapy, and flushing his chest cavity 3 times a day for the last 4 days straight the doctor is hopeful that we will be able to try at home.

      We are waiting for the culture to come back to determine if the antibiotics are the correct ones to be given.

      I can't say for certain that my cat became sick at Petsmart, but the fact that my dog is sick too makes it pretty obvious

      Update: 7/2/2023

      My cat was beginning to deteriorate again after we brought him home to continue treatment, unfortunately his chest was beginning to fill up again with puss and fluid since the infection is still not resolved. We took him back to the ER and they did an ultrasound and found that the antibiotics were not working. We made the heart wrenching decision to put him down since the only option would be put back the chest tubes or do surgery to clean out the infection with no guarantee of recovery and he was terrified to be back a the hospital again. We were only torturing him with the treatments. My family is completely heartbroken, we just lost our cat that we raised since he was 8 weeks old. He would have turned 3 this 10/20/23.

      Within 3 weeks of boarding here, my cat has died. This has been a horrible experience, mentally, emotionally and financially (almost $20,000).

      If anyone else had this type of bad experience from boarding their pets here please message me. My dog is still sick and not eating well. Something just doesn't seem right.

      This review is exclusively for the Grooming Services, as my experiences with the other departments of Petsmart have been good. However, my experience with PetSmart's dog grooming services has become infuriating. I have been a loyal customer for over five years, but the recurring issues have left me very dissatisfied.

      Despite bringing my dog (Golden Retriever) in for grooming regularly (at least once a month, sometimes twice), my dog developed severe mats behind his ears. I repeatedly asked the groomers to address the mats while they were small and manageable, but they continuously ignored my requests. I tried to take care of the mats myself, but the mats became so bad that we were left with no choice but to take them to the vet, where they had to sedate him and completely remove all of the hair from the area. Not only did this situation put my dog through unnecessary discomfort, but it also resulted in an extra financial burden for us. PetSmart's failure to handle a basic grooming task has caused us and our dog a great deal of stress.

      Unfortunately, this incident is not an isolated case. Throughout my years as a PetSmart Grooming Services customer, I have experienced various other problems. The services I specifically requested were often not performed, leaving me frustrated. Additionally, on multiple occasions, appointments were abruptly canceled on the day of, causing significant inconvenience and disruption to my schedule. We were told that this was mainly due to the lack of employees that are willing to groom a dog over 100lbs. As an owner of a larger breed, I expected PetSmart to accommodate my pet's needs. However, the fact that they have groomers unwilling to take on dogs of this size is disappointing. It shows a clear disregard for the diverse needs of their customers, leading to inadequate availability and longer wait times for essential grooming services.

      PetSmart, after five years of being a loyal customer, my patience has worn thin. Your consistent failure to address my concerns, disregard my requests, and maintain a reliable appointment system is so disappointing. It is evident that customer satisfaction and the well-being of our pets are not priorities for you. I caution anyone considering PetSmart for their dog grooming needs to weigh their options carefully. The recurring problems I have encountered have soured my opinion of this establishment. I urge PetSmart to reevaluate their grooming services and prioritize the satisfaction and well-being of their customers and their dogs. I hope that this review prompts PetSmart to take immediate action to rectify their shortcomings. Until then, I cannot recommend PetSmart's dog grooming services to anyone seeking reliable and attentive care for their pets.

      I come here to buy my dog food and treats. I also have started bringing my golden doodle here for grooming as well. They are so flexible and their availability is amazing. I was a little skeptical on bringing my dog here for grooming, but they have not disappointed one time! the price is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the store always has what I am looking for. I highly recommend them.

      I was delighted that the Foothill Ranch PetSmart had a grooming opening the same night - must have been a cancellation.
      Ali groomed our puppy & I can only say the very best things about her personality, love towards our dog & also her skills. She went above & beyond to provide a great cut on her.
      I asked her to keep her furcoat as long as possible while cleaning it up as well - it was not an easy task in our case. Ali did everything that I asked & more!
      We received a beautiful, sparkling clean & fluffier-than-ever dog. We will always return to Ali. Thank you so much for the great service!
