I've been trying to get to Perk & Brew for a while now. It's their hours that's been a challenge. I was finally ready to wait until their opened at 9am on a Sunday. That's a bit late for me and I'm sure others who need their caffeine earlier in the morning will pop across the street to the green siren people or the donut people.
Today, I was here at 8:55 and they opened the doors at 9:00. A very nice woman took my order at the counter and brought my "black eye" to me at my table outside. Perfect coffee.
There are a half dozen covered tables outside and while the ground has a slight slope, it's still comfortable. Being next to busy Cape Coral Blvd is a concern but there are some trees between the road and the restaurant so I didn't need to be concerned about a crazy driver.
Nice to be trusted and pay later. That's just awesome.

When I'm in need of a fast and tasty breakfast and iced latte with great service I love making Perk & Brew the destination! Their espresso is delicious and I also love their homemade quiche. This quaint little shop is a great breakfast and or brunch spot with friendly service.

WARNING this is one of the Cape Coral restaurants that punishes patrons for using a credit card, by charging a 3% "service fee".
The service was good, the food was very good. It is a nice place all in all. But the service fee charge is a big turn off. The amount wasn't much, but I really dislike money grabbing Managment. Will they soon be charging if you want to use their bathroom? Or charge for using salt & pepper?
It won't stop me from visiting this establishment from time to time, but I feel sorry for the employees that receive less of a tip to offset this part of the "service".Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Jenny G.Fishers, IN14124Mar 25, 2023
The breakfast burrito is where it's at!!! This is not your average burrito! Filled with fried egg, tater tot, turkey sausage, bacon, avocado, cheese and greens with sour cream!!! Served with tater tots but the upgrade to avocado salad was well worth it!!! Don't let the small seating area fool you. This is an amazing breakfast spot! The brunch cocktails are icing on the cake. We had the tequila sunrise and the expresso Guinness which were both amazing! Enjoy!

We love Perk and Brew! It's a family favorite! The crew is always super nice and the coffee and food are always delicious.
I love the peanut butter chocolate frappe as well as any combo of cold brew they have! Also love a good mocha from here as well.
Their avocado toast is delicious, I love the sunny side up egg on top, always tasty. I also love their pastries for a nice, small snack with my coffee. I also get a breakfast sandwich on a croissant often and it's always a good, filling choice. Their sandwiches are yummy for lunch as well, the tuna croissant is awesome.
Definitely recommend stopping in for a quick breakfast. This is a great breakfast spot after the Cape Coral Farmers Markets on Saturdays during season!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 41342779Sep 30, 2021Updated review
We recently moved here but had been here a few times before our move & I'm so happy to have this cute coffee/breakfast/lunch place in Cape Coral. Food is great, coffee is always tasty & the staff is amazing!

What a delightful spot in downtown Cape Coral!
Came here to get a little work done prior to a meeting and was delighted.
With the name, I had envisioned a casual, order at the counter coffee shop.
Not so! They do have a chalk menu board with coffee beverages, but you can also sit down and they have full blown menus as well.
The menus are laid out directly on the table so simply find a table (seat yourself) and give it a gander. My server was lovely and made several coffee recommendations. I went with the milano mocha (yes...a flavor reminiscent of Pepperidge Farm milano cookies!). It was solid (espresso wasn't quite as strong as I usually go for, but good none-the-less).
I was able to snag a booth in the back, which worked out perfectly for my business meeting. They also have some tables with outlet access if you're looking to get a little work done.
After my meeting, I decided to get a bite and ordered one of their special quiches of the day (pesto, sun dried tomatoes, and goat cheese--yes, please!). It came out piping hot and delicious with a side of fresh fruit (which was also incredibly fresh and delicious).
Beyond that the prices were reasonable and the service was top notch!
Get to it!Helpful 18Thanks 0Love this 18Oh no 0 - Ash D.Swansboro, NC161135Oct 30, 2022
Happy to find GF options in a dog + kid friendly place! Outdoor seating was nice though, along a busy road but it's fenced in and comfortable. Food was absolutely amazing but the service was a little slow, all things considered we will happily come again as we were in no hurry.

They forgot about us for 40 minutes. After my boyfriend asked how much longer, they looked puzzled and said 5 more minutes. We just walked out. It was obvious that they never put our food in. No one ever came to check on us. We saw several tables get food before us when they got there after us.
