Penni Gladstone photographed our wedding, and she was great. Very professional and really took care of all the business so we could relax and know we were in good hands.

On our wedding day, she was flexible and often blended in to the background, while managing to take amazing candid photos! For our posed shots, she was firm enough to get us to stand in the right place and do the right things without taking forever, and gracious enough so that we didn't feel like we were being pushed around or doing something we didn't want to do. A very hard balance to reach, I imagine, but she did it.

The photos turned out great, capturing some great moments and emotions. We still get chills when we look back at them.

Penni is an amazing photographer who is an absolute professional. She photographed our engagement session last week and was patient as well as instructive. We traveled from out of town to San Francisco, so we weren't entirely familiar with the area. We just knew that we wanted photos near the Golden Gate Bridge. Penni not only guided us to the rights spots, she also took us to another location even if that meant going over on the time we booked with her. She wanted to make sure that we got the right shots above all else.

Penni's professionalism was most apparent when she took the time to find the right light and color for us. She even took the time to guide my fiancée who needed a little extra coaching. In all, she is amazing and we cannot wait to work with her again. Her kindness and great work make her a delight.

Penni made me feel calm on the most stressful day of my life; for that I thank her with all my heart. She captured an image of myself I never knew existed. Penny navigated our objective of taking as many pictures as possible while I simultaneously worked with my client in a seamless fashion. Penny Captured all of the images and moments that I had envisioned, but Penny's greatest gift to me is a photographer was capturing all the ones that I didn't.

She's the best you're going to find.

I recently had to get a portrait taken, so I did what any person who hates the camera would do - I headed to yelp to see what other people recommended. With each photographer I checked websites, galleries, etc.. I then narrowed down my search to five photographers based on their works.

Penni was my first choice, and frankly, I didn't think I'd get her. Looking at her photos, you'll see why. She's an artist; as good at photographing people as she is at conventions, action, etc. Her photos aren't poses and smiles, they're feelings and textures within a tableau. She blends the subject with a stunning use of light and location.

Oh yeah, and she's been nominated for a Pulitzer prize. Twice.

I figured that if anyone could make me look half-way decent, it was her. I just didn't think I could afford her.

I was thrilled to find out I was wrong! Amazingly, her prices are competitive! Not only that, but she doesn't restrict you to an allotted time. When asked how long I'd get her, she responded, "However long it takes to get an amazing picture."

And I was right-- she did manage to make non-photogenic me look great. Well...as great as I can look, anyway. I've gotten a plethora of positive comments by fans on how beautiful I look in the photos.

She is not only professional, she's personable. She helps you relax, have fun, and the smiles come naturally. I am extremely happy with the outcome!

It's rare to work with someone like Penni Gladstone, who is so talented, so professional and who rolls with whatever challenge that comes her way! I hired her to photograph a 4-day medical conference in San Francisco for a nonprofit foundation client. She captured the event's big picture, the little details, the human moments, and, most importantly, told the story of this event with her trained journalist's eye! Always on time, easy to communicate with, turned around photos promptly. Client RAVED about the results and we can't wait to work with her again!
