Not your normal pub. This is a neighborhood pub. Not like cheers but kinda interesting like that. It's always had some of the best most interesting beers on tap and under new ownership continues to grow for what makes the locals rally to make sure it continues for years to come!

What a community gem!
Christina rules, Chef Mike makes killer burgers and fries and the drinks are affordable. Lotsa great beers on tap, but they also serve wine. Loved the Cider, too!
So cozy and friendly. And you can watch sports if you like them! :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 8, 2023Updated review
Enjoyed a West Coast IPA ($10+ with tip). This is a local watering hole which has a nice beer selection, something for everyone, including some food options.
If you are taking a driving tour around Palos Verdes, or looking for a watering hole after a bike ride, this spot will do you well. On my Friday afternoon visit, I was served by Christina, who is very 'fit' and a personable server who enhanced my visit.
I also like the outside patio area which frequently has someone playing live music. While not cheap, there is a lot to like about the Peninsula Tap House. #CHEERSHelpful 14Thanks 2Love this 12Oh no 0Jan 25, 2022Previous reviewI'm happy to see that this location has evolved from the early days. The food options are now more accomplished, yet the beer options remain solid. They don't have too many out of the ordinary beer options, instead they have a good mix of beer types and brew houses you would want.
They have inside (two televisions) and outside seating. They also tend to bring in a guitar player, which was this case this last Saturday night around 6pm, nothing like sitting outside while having a beer and listening to someone play guitar and sing. They do have hat lamps for those that are think skinned. - Apr 22, 2023Updated review
A great selection of craft beer on tap. It varies so check the board for availability
It's a small business, not a huge chain. I like that in a pub. I went to watch the superbowl with my kid and his buddies and we had a great time with the various appetizers (and beer).
So, today, I decided to try a burger.
The bbq burger was actually really good. Ok, it's super messy and you'll need to wash your hands when done but I was very pleasantly surprised.
You get a bag of chips (crisps if you're English) with it. I think I'd prefer to have some French fries but I get that adding a deep fryer is probably a pain
Sat outside in the gorgeous weather of PV.
If you're looking for a chill place in a fantastic part of town with great beer - this is for you. In the mood for pub food. This is for you. Want other types of food- poke and a seafood supermarket are literally next door. Grab a plate of oyster or some poke and wash it down with some good beerHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 15, 2021Previous reviewGo for the beer. They have a great selection of local brews on tap.
It's a weird location, no view of anything except the parking lot.
Inside is a bit... well.. better to spend time outside
If you're hungry, sit outside and get some seafood from the market next door. - Aug 3, 2023
As a former PV resident, it has always been hard to find a bar in the area, let alone a pub (although Terranea has a virtually local monopoly on bars). So having found one here, I was surprised that it feels like a legit taphouse, with an authentic atmosphere and an excellent selection of rotating beer selections (and several wines, too). I hear the burgers are good. Their flatbreads have a very nice, crispy crust. We come just to relax on the patio and soak in the nice weather. Basically, it's just great beer in the sun without any drama. So I'm becoming a regular.
My two gripes:
1. They desperately need more umbrellas on the patio! If you get there in the summer around happy hour, you will roast alive. Bring sunscreen and the widest-brimmed hat you own.
2. Yeah, there are a lot of us old Caucasians here, but the live musicians virtually bleach every song down to the whitest bone. At least some will mix up the selection: One night I heard a band do Croce's "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown" (yawn), but also try their hand at Flock of Seagull's "Space Age Love Song" (bold choice!). Another tried "What a Wonderful World" (yikes) followed by a thin "Come As You Are" by Nirvana (talk about range!). And a third time when I got out of my car, the band of the night was botching the harmonies on CSN's "Teach Your Children" so badly that I got right back into my car and left. Sure, I'm being a bit harsh. But we old, cheerful white people gotta have something to be cranky about from time to time, right? Guess I need a beer...Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 23, 2023
Tbh is a small gastro pub like place. It has a good number of beer on tap, which is very nice. The smash burger was good, very flavorful. But I was still left wanting something more because they do have fries anymore. That was kind of a bummer. The bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable of the beer. Cool place, definitely a place I want to check in to again.

Awesome place to come have a few pints. Friendly staff, generally mellow atmosphere, and plenty of great options. Very much appreciate that this is available!

Love the Tap House!! I've lived on the hill for over a decade and never knew this place existed for the longest time. Glad I found it here on Yelp! It's not too big of a spot, and can see this place getting pretty crowded in the evenings on a weekend. But the vibe here is great!! There're a couple of TV's for sporting events. I've been here a few times now and have been help by bartenders Christina and Jennifer. They're both welcoming, personable and attentive. Their chef Devin, is a really cool person and produces some great items out of the kitchen. There's no liquor here, but have plenty of really good beer on tap along with a few wine options. I highly recommend the Paulaner Hefeweizen! That's become my go to. But again, tons of great selections if you like good beer. The pricing of their food and beer are fair too. Don't hesitate to stop by this hidden gem! Cheers!

The Ramsy burger was AMAZING! Just wow! The beer selection is nice, location is right by the water and they have an outdoor patio with a tv for football.

The Hot Honey and Pepperoni Flatbread was delicious. Ramsay Burger was delightful. I can even speak highly of the kettle chips on the side because they were better than average.
Solid selection of local beers on draught. They even had a cider and a sour on tap which is well received during warmer days. Bartender Christina was super nice and fast. Patio seating was great for us and our 2.5 month old. Christina fired up the heat lamps for us on a chilly January evening. Apparently there's a TV on wheels she can bring outside for sports viewing on the patio. Good tunes on the digital jukebox too.
Definitely coming back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nat G.Long Beach, CA24Dec 27, 2023
