We are an exclusive vine-to-bottle only vineyard and winery. Everything in our bottles is estate grown, onsite, truly vine to bottle. Our signature peach wines are from our estate orchard and not blended with any grape wines or juice concentrates. We have a small but primarily homemade menu to pair with our award-winning wines. Live music from local musicians every weekend. Lodging onsite and nearby available. With an amazingly homey and vintage vibe in a refurbished 1946 barn, we offer a unique experience you'll want to revisit time and time again!

We stopped here on the way home from our Carbondale hiking weekend. We did a tasting and bought a bottle to bring home... and now I don't recall which bottle. I had a lavender drink and a peach sangria that were specials not on the main menu.
We ate on the back deck (or was it a porch?) and had a good view of a field.
I think we ordered a cheese board or a meat and cheese board, but it's been over a month now and I can't be sure. That lack of memory may indicate that we weren't raving about it and we weren't disappointed in it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 31, 2023
Peachbarn winery and cafe is a unique space along the Illinois wine trail. Peachbarn offers tastings and dinner. I would highly recommend stopping for dinner and especially try the soup. The tasting counter is just that, a counter and not really set up as a bar but more like get and pay for your tasting here and take it over there and sit down. The server was just the server and the person who was pouring the tastings was was just the person pouring the tastings. Still a must stop offering a solid selection of wine and food that I would stop for even if there was no wine offerings. There are many wineries to stop at and Peachbarn definitely makes the list of wineries you must visit.

A picture is worth a thousand words...Is this a $17 variety? The most pathetic, sad cheese & sausage board ever served.

Superb array of wines, many of which are varietals unique to southern Illinois and a rare few other areas with similar climates. The owners, Jenny & Scott, brought effortless class to the experience and made us feel right at home. Delicious, homemade Swedish food and a homey vibe (it's in a renovated 1940s barn) -- along with the incredible views -- made it even more memorable.

So nice to see something old turned into something new. Loved the rustic decor throughout the winery they kept the original feel with the exposed beams also they took the time to honor the veterans

We arrived in the area yesterday afternoon for a wine trail shuttle for the day today. We ran out to get some dinner at Peachbarn, which is very close to where we are staying. We each had a wine flight and a flatbread. The place was nearly empty and the employee working seemed less than enthusiastic to see us or talk to us. It is a nice place and the food and wine were pretty good. As we were getting ready to leave, another employee joined the first one and she was much friendlier.

Quite disappointed in this place. Especially because we came there for the Swedish food that was advertised in their local magazine. They do not have Swedish food any longer. We ordered a flight of wine and we were served in these tiny little plastic cups. Not very impressive at all. The two girls at the counter had zero knowledge of wine. They really couldn't help at all period when they're serving at a wine tasting place one would think that they should be able to tell you about things period they seem to just read off the same description cards that we were reading off of. Being that we came there to eat we were hungry. So we were kind of forced to order a flatbread. We chose the stuffed mushroom flatbread which was really nothing but a pile of cream cheese with some mushrooms on a small piece of flatbread. The atmosphere was kind of solemn. Would not go there again.

Great service, great food, we had a party of 3 service was fast. Live music on a Sunday fall sunny afternoon. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. I was in from Chicago and never been to a winery and I was extremely impressed the employees were quick fast and polite. I will definitely be back.
