We are visiting San Diego and are staying at Pacific Beach! Dinner night one. We chose delivery.
PB Pho & Grill was awesome. All 4 of us got different meals and they were all winners!
My Ban Xao was delicious. Crispy, crunchy filled with shrimp, Lots of green onion in the batter, along with fresh bean sprouts. Accompanied by crisp fresh lettuce  and, shredded carrots . Good size container of Fish Sauce too!!! Heaven on a plate!
The girls had Bün one chose pork the other beef. Large portions were consumed.....fresh veggies and lettuce and lots of rice vermicelli. They shared an order of Spring Rolls-also fresh and tasty!
Last was hubby's Beef Banh Mi. Tender morsels of beef with fresh lettuce and herbs enclosed in a crust French baguette.
Wow-wow -wowzer!!!
Highly recommend. - 3791691565/6/2023
Such friendly staff!
Big servings but I'd love more rare steak and tendon in the large size. Noodles were good and broth was nice and clean but not super flavorful.
They were out of lime so adding lemon to it was a bit different. Still hit the spot, decent prices.
The pho- 3.5/5
The shrimp spring rolls- 2/5
Vietnamese coffee- 3/5 (super super strong but good flavor; had to ask for more cream/milk)
Service- 5/5
Cleanliness- 4/5 - Kris P.San Diego, CA2042416613/14/2023Updated review
Been here several times for TO GO and Eat in.
It's ok, probably one of the better pho places in PB.
Ambiance: kinda normal pho place but lots of dark grays and reds
Service: Usually pretty friendly service, although slow. This last time was weird. What throws me off as a Vietnamese person is when I order in Vietnamese and the Viet lady (owner?) barks back at me in English to tell her the number of the bowl instead. I appreciate the opportunity to connect and speak with other Vietnamese people in our native language. Apparently she doesn't feel the same. She was way more friendly to the other Caucasian patrons. Â Really strange. Would come back more if service was nicer.3/7/2023Previous reviewBeen here several times for TO GO and Eat in.

Surprised to find a Pho restaurant in Pacific Beach open late at night (11pm).
And even better the broth was flavorful and not greasy and not pumped full of MSG.
Customer service was nice and had 0 complaints for my meal. Would for sure return when I have a fix for Pho late at night as this was in a nice quiet neighborhood with parking. - Faye F.San Diego, CA44165/19/2023

Came here for a super late lunch on an (unusual) cold San Diego's afternoon for some warm pho. They have rice plates, egg noodle options too. The King Crab and Lobster pho options are definitely tempting. However I stuck with ordering the dish that I was eyeing since the moment I saw the picture. I got the rice vermicelli bowl with Grilled Shrimp and Chicken. Portion was HUGE for the price, I honestly was surprised. It was super filling and it exceeded all my expectation. The flavor was perfect plus the shrimps and chicken were cooked very well, both were tender. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
My lunch companion got the large bowl of steak pho. He's a tough critic when it comes to pho dishes as he has his own winning pho recipe. However, he admitted that the pho here was very good and he enjoyed his pho very well. We also shared some egg rolls which were crispy, tasted really good and fresh inside.
The place was nearly empty when we got here as it wasn't a peak lunch hour. Â Nevertheless, they got a busy foot traffic of pickup orders. There was only one woman working. She was reasonably friendly and checked up on us at a good pace. My only quibble was about the room by the dining room; I'm unsure what was going on in there but someone was working on something and the noise level coming from that room was quite bothersome. Other than that, everything else was awesome. Parking was street and we were able to snatch a parking space right in front of the restaurant. - Jak G.East Brunswick, NJ8430385/6/2023

Food - ordered the rare steak and meatball pho, pleasantly surprised on how flavorful the broth was. The only thing was felt like the noodles were a little harder than expected.
Service - this review is only for to go, was really quick
Very limited parking as it's on a busy street. - 2322145612294/1/2023
I picked this spot out for pho after looking through some Yelp reviews and it was pretty good but I don't know if it was any better than any other pho restaurants. They all seem to be pretty similar. I chose my usual pho order of rare steak. The medium bowl was just the right amount and the beef broth had good flavor. At about $10 for the bowl, the price was good too.
