This is the only Pathmark around my neighborhood and so far, I have no complaints. I love coming here to buy ingredients to make my own salad, Pepperidge Farm's 100% Soft Wheat Bread, and some Lean Cuisine. I just wish it opens 24 hours though. Then it'll be perfect!!

Well...to all my people who come from other states...this is how every big Albertson's, Safeway, QFC is in Washington State...but in NYC, these supermarkets ARE RARE.
EVERYTHING HERE IS BRAND NEW so it looks so lovely. Prices are great.
They have a bakery, pharmacy, deli case, and it's just so...big. You want to buy everything. Good store brands.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Sep 15, 2014
I came here since I was in the area an needed some quick items. I was pleased by how big this supermarket was and they had great selections. I had a few questions and it wasn't hard to find an employee to be able to get my answers.
I also liked that its in a shopping center and it has its own parking.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Beth B.Queens, NY81361086Nov 2, 2015

I guess they're trying to spiff up this branch. It's called Pathmark of Whitestone but it's actually located in a rather run-down shopping center in grimy part of Flushing. I suppose "Pathmark of Whitestone", a nod to the much nicer neighborhood of Whitestone north of here, has a much nicer ring to it. Hey, at least they're trying! For years this branch was a total craphole, but they did do some major renovations and the place looks quite good now.
Pros - Awesome sales every week on top of very fairly priced items that are not on sale, very inexpensive household items like dish soap, toothpaste, soap, etc, well-stocked dairy, international and frozen food selection.
Cons - A bakery department that can only be called a colossal failure. Nothing odd about that though, since every Pathmark bakery is atrocious. For example, there are few, if any, loaves of good fresh baked bread, and their bagels are horribly stale. Why their bakery sign says "fresh daily" is a mystery since they obviously have the same crappy bread sitting around for days on end. Their deli is quite mediocre with nothing made in house and an agonizingly slow and testy staff manning the counter. The check-out lines and slow moving cashiers are also aggravating but easily bypassed with the self checkout line.
Another thing that sucks about this place is the parking lot. I'm not sure if Pathmark is responsible it's upkeep, but the entire area is disgusting, with garbage, papers and plastic bags flying all over the place when the wind picks up. It's beyond filthy.
The parking lot is used by patrons of all the random stores in this shopping complex and there are more than a few shady characters floating around the area; some old Asian guys may come up to your car and try to sell you bootleg DVD's out of a bag. I've seen more than a few youths hassling people walking back to their car. Also, occasionally, they're are a few homeless guys panhandling around the store entrance. In short, very charming.
In the end though, it's a great store to save a buck at. Just go early and try to beat the crowds and pay no attention to the toothless lunatics asking for quarters by the entrance.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Zaneta O.Westbury, NY10297923200Feb 12, 2015
Great supermarket, the store is huge, good selection. The prices are really very competative here. You just need to pay attention to the sale items because at times they are confusing. It will have a big number on it and you will quickly assume thats that price but in small print it may say (discount) so you will think wow this is a crazy deal only to find it's not when you get to the register. Read everything carefully! A lot of the sales also don't have a limit which is great for stocking up on regularly used items.
This supermarket had the whole insert a quarter to get a shopping cart but I don't think that really worked out for them, people still don't care about returning the carts. Another good thing about this place is they have a lot of cashiers which makes checkout go very quickly.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Sherry B.New York, NY1627385May 24, 2015
I had one of the WORST EXPERIENCE ever at this Pathmark. Rushing here after work I arrived at the seafood section promptly at 8:03PM and the black worker wouldn't help me bag 2LBs of crab legs. I understand he wants to leave and go home after a long shift, but does it really take that long to bag 2LBs of crab legs? Asked him what time they closed and he said 8:00PM ... Really now. I arrived 3 minutes late and he shut me down.
My kids were so disappointed. Thank you very much for ruining my memorial day weekend. I guess it's that miserable to work at Pathmark that the workers want to run out of here.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Steven S.Long Island, NY7472931759Oct 16, 2014
Grocery shopping is a bummer, but Pathmark definilty makes it a little easier. The supermarket is located right off the highway with a enormous parking lot, surrounded by a variety of businesses
Mcdanolds with indoor playground, Wendy's, Chinese Takeout, GNC, Liquor Store & My personal favorite Amore Pizzeria.
The supermarket is always well stocked & organized. There weekly flyers always has the best specials. That's what keeps me coming back .39 Cents Snapple special, how can you go wrong! There aisles are spacious & there cashiers are no joke. There is also a DvD & Game Rental Kiosk located inside the supermarket.
Make sure to stop by the bakery section, cakes are baked fresh in-house & the Fried Chicken is banging * I eat while I shop *Helpful 15Thanks 0Love this 14Oh no 0 - Steven M.East Patchogue, NY013Jun 14, 2019
