Great American breakfasts, including hearty omelettes and six kinds of eggs Benedict. Delicious burgers made with fresh (never frozen) ground chuck. All of this served with the most incredible view of the Madison Airport. We are located right on the airport with a wall of windows great for watching the airplanes take off and land, and taxi about. It's almost like an air show daily. We are kid friendly and accessible.

We went to the Jet Room for breakfast as soon as they opened on a Sunday, we had a biscuit and gravy Benedict and a crab Benedict. Food was 3/5 service and ambiance 5/5. Especially fun if you bring some little ones to watch the action!

We got a lot of food .
There was a slight snow storm and not much to do so we took advantage of the low traffic and finally got a table at the jet room!
Crab cake eggs Benedict was
I was extremely surprised as it was the first thing I tried, I will go back specifically for .
Everything was great and the customer service was superb. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely returning when there's no storm stopping the planes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Paul F.Chattanooga, TN012Jan 17, 2024
Excellent service. Great Diner experience. Loved the omelette and hasbrowns. Friend had the cheese burger and thought it was fantastic. Loved watching the planes take off and land.

What can you say? The Jet Room is beyond great if your head is in the clouds. To sit near the window and watch the private jets roll in and out, plus all the small prop planes is a thrill.
The wait staff is cheerful and always on point
As a former line cook it is amazing to watch the cooks deal with the rush. These guys work together so well there is never a miss step.
My go-to place in Madison for Breakfast and Lunch. I am always happy when I have guests and I get to bring them hereHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 10, 2023
They do now take reservations so the wait isn't so long. Service was good and it's always fun to be here with the planes just outside the window. There is no sign for the restaurant so just look for the General aviation sign on the building. My French toast was mediocre at best. Boring white bread with no taste and an equally bland syrup that came with it.The only good part of the meal was some great bacon! My friend had an omelet with hash browns which she liked but it came with a biscuit on a separate plate that looked as bad as it tasted. Sort of like a pile of mashed potatoes with a gummy interior.. There are lots of good looking things on the menu so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing this time but I was not impressed. Most any truck stop has far better French toast than what I got here and usually served with several flavors of syrup. Lots of other people love the food here so I guess I got the wrong day. Not in a rush to go back.

Solid choice. The reputation is deserved. Went on a weekday at 11:15 when our first choice was closed. I went with a straightforward French toast and bacon, no complaints, nothing remarkable and probably slightly overpriced in the grand scheme. Dining companion had the salmon bowl on the advise of the wait staff. Should have gone that direction--it was delicious. Hashbrown, salmon, fried egg. Didn't even get the toast side and it was still two meals worth. Service was good, food was likely cooked fresh to order so there is a little bit of a wait, but not unreasonable. It has a diner feel to the seating. Chairs to the back are elevated so you can still see the airfield.

Great breakfast/ lunch place! The food is terrific. I had the perch fillet and eggs. Easy to screw up if the fish doesn't have flavor... it was delicious. We also had a tuna melt, crab cake benedict and a mexican omlet. All were delicious.

The Jef Room seems to be losing its edge. Food was great. I loved the hash browns, which were nice and crispy, and I ask for poached eggs with runny yolks, and that's exactly how they came. It took too long for a server to come to the table after I was seated. The server was went through their script like an automated attendent. Siri has more personality. And I don't go to a sit down restaurant to be squeezing all of the condiments out of tiny little packages, including pepper, tarter sauce (for the perch), and Cholula, and ketchup, which came in a very tiny little plastic covered tub a little bigger than a thimble. Maybe at the concession stand for a high school football game.
