This shop is just a short walk from UNCG and the housing around it. Very good selection and tons of back issues to scour through. The shop is fairly small, but it is very neat and organized. The shop owner was behind the counter when my friend and I visited. He was very helpful and friendly, unlike some other comic book shop employees in the area. I will be visiting here more often for sure!

I've made it a habit to peruse local comics shops when I travel. Flew in to Greensboro from Los Angeles for a wrestling event and found this gem of a comic store near the end of my visit. A lovely and quaint comic shop for current readers, those casually looking for old back issues, and collectors of vintage/key issues displayed behind the counter wall. Very old school, down to the uncanny smell of books, paper, and ink.

The greatest draw for this shop, however, is John. He was manning the store the day I visited. Not only a comics enthusiast, but also a Greensboro native and a wrestling historian with mountains of wrestling stories lost to annals of time. The small chat we had was worth the visit alone; the deal he gave me on a Daredevil #34 served as lovely garnish. Thanks again, John. I'll be sure to check out any Johnny Valentine footage I can find.

This is my place of zen, when life and work get too stressful I goto Parts Unknown. granted I stop in when I have some free time too, but seriously I'm so thankful for this shop.

I absolutely love this store, its a legit comic shop, and the gentleman that runs it is the purest comic enthusiast I've ever met. A true collector and purist in every way. He has had the honor to meet the greats, but not only them but THE greatest of all...the legend, Mr. Jack Kirby (which he has a specific area dedicated to in the shop).

I don't get to visit as often as I'd like, but can't ever wait to be able to stop in and enjoy some great conversation while I enjoy searching thru the large inventory of back issues he has (which by the way, are priced honestly and just right so don't think that you may be able to find a better price because I doubt you will).

Even if by some chance you could find cheaper, which I haven't found (i just check key values from time to time), I'd rather support his shop in a way of thanks for being there, keeping it real, and being the cool shop owner and sharing such awesome experiences with us. Just like the good ol' days.

Stop in and check it out, the only regret you'll have is not being able stay longer and enjoy the shop.

Loved every bit of this store. First off, it's fun. Plenty of light coming in from the big windows shining into the store. We went on a Saturday and it was awesome. The staff was both helpful and knowledgeable while still being patient and allowing my friend and I just to dive in and dig around. Bonus points for the music playing on the radio too. Half of one wall had key books on display plus a bunch more stacked below to flip through. There was a large amount of current books for subscriptions, plus trades and specialty books. The back issues in the long boxes provided plenty to pick through from the bronze, copper and modern ages. It reminds me of that perfect, small town store, great for the college kids and collectors alike. Take some time to check out the art and posters on the walls, they are wonderful. Great store and I look forward to heading back again!

Amazing old school comic book store with some hard to find hardcovers for those interested in prestige formats. The owner is very friendly and gave me a 10% discount even though I'm way to old to be a student. An overlooked gem that shouldn't be overlooked!

I was a student at UNCG from 2001-2005 and John was very generous to me as a student of extremely limited means. Was in town today and dropped by, picked up a few books, and without asking, John again gave me a nice discount. He's very good to his customers.

Great variety of current comics & graphic novels, but the real attraction is the assortment of older books. Lots of great silver age comes and a good selection of choice golden age books. Stuff sells regularly, so there's a steady flow of recent arrivals. The staff is very knowledgeable in a wide range of collectors' interests and makes choice recommendations. Definitely worth the trip if you're in the area.

One of my favorite comic book stores that I always try to visit whenever I'm back in Greensboro! It has a great friendly atmosphere that is very welcoming and pleasant! They have a great selection of comics, but the owner definitely is one of the best parts of this place! He's always extremely helpful and kind and is a big part of why I come back! He always gives great deals on back issues! Definitely recommend checking it out!
