Paraiso Mexican Restaurant

I went here before my shift at the hospital and by the time I had a chance to check out my food the restaurant was closed. I ordered bean and beef nachos with queso on the side and when I looked there was as no beef at all. I even repeated myself 3 times & she said she understood but evidently she didn't. I didn't pay $14 to have my order screwed up. I'm throwing it in the trash. I don't eat my food if it's not done right. I'm pissed off and now I have nothing to eat til I get home at 9 am. If this had 0 stars that's what I would give for listening alone.

Delicious food, pretty authentic. Great service, reasonably priced. Stafff is very friendly and great service.

Friendly staff. I ordered the #1 Combo and the ground beef was perfectly seasoned I wish I added to my enchiladas. Enchiladas were good but I'm from AZ and like the spiciness and these were not. I would come back.

DO NOT HESITATE to eat here. We are in our way back home to AZ, where we eat Mexican food weekly, and found this gem. The restrooms and restaurant are immaculate. I enjoyed the Al Pastor tacos with rice and beans. It was the best I have ever eaten. My husband devoured the chicken special. He said he has never had anything like it. Our son had the steak quesadilla. It was filled with a generous amount of tender and juicy steak that was seasoned perfectly. The service was exceptional. Our food came out quickly and piping hot. We finished with the fried ice cream...what a delicious treat that was served in a cinnamon tortilla shell. I will be dreaming about this food and can't wait to stop here every summer on our adventures back to Iowa.

Good family style food. Great service, clean restaurant and bathroom. I had the chicken fajitas and my husband had tacos de carne asada

Excellent service. She smiled at us as we came in even though they were closing soon. She made helpful suggestions. The food was great! We were full & needed boxes.
The ceiling fans made me and my food cool, so bring a sweater and don't eat too slow.
Also, we liked the salsa, very tasty, but it's on the spicy side, so fair warning. She suggested we add cheese to it, and that was perfect.

Had the special today! Don't remember what it was called but it was excellent. Prompt service. Friendly staff, clean facility. Go here for a nice hot lunch and you will be satisfied!

Delicious food! Chips and salsa are complimentary and each person has their own small bowl for salsa.
I had the enchiladas mexicanas and they were scrumptious.
If you order a beer it comes served with a frosty mug.
Service is quick and friendly.

We stopped by this small town during our road trip from KS to CA. We stay overnight at Super 54 motel nearby this restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and staff was very friendly. We forgot our car key and the owner was so kind and honest. He even brought our car key in person to our hotel. We had great time and made friend with them!!! Lovely owner couple: Elena and Ricardo! Thank you so much!!!

This is located in the heart of Kansas. We were traveling and came to Minneola and saw the 5-stars and thought we would give it a try for lunch. We had the lunch specials of which I had a cheese enchilada and a Chile relleno. Overall the food is lightly seasoned and lacks the zing one might be used to in Texas, New Mexico or California Mexican Food. The cheese used in my chili relleno and enchilada was fabulous. The salsa was mild and lacked a great taste of citrus or cilantro. The chips were fresh, crispy and salted.
