Still the Panera I frequent since it's the closest one to where I live and right by the library I frequent, the Brookdale Library. Awesome service, and nice space. Love the new menu, including the warm grain bowls and the panini sandwiches. Love!

They have different management now, the customer service, cleanliness of the facility and food quality has definitely gone up, from what it used to be... Drastic change from what I remember ..even from a year ago.
I am glad I decided to check this Panera out again.
What a change, now it is pretty outstanding! One time I went in with my mother - - my mom doesn't like restaurants, but she adores Panera, so if f we go out to eat, we like to visit a Panera- - and we were sharing, since the portion is so big, and we got two plates, two forks, two of everyting without even asking!
Now that's customer service!
I don't know the new manager's name, but he is always going around, and making sure everything is good. He and his staff is always pleasant. - Dec 3, 2018
I love Panera, period.
This location is near me, so this is where I go to get my grub. The food is always fresh and my order is correct.
The downside of this location is that there are no kiosks by which to order food if you wanted to stop by. It would be nice to be able to find a table and order food to be brought out to you, rather than waiting in line. Even though Panera isn't a new restaurant, it seems that there are always people here who don't seem to know what they offer. So, they're taking forever in line to get an order completed. What I do now is order through the app and pick up my food. So much less hassle!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jennifer B.Minneapolis, MN74188551Apr 10, 2017
I ordered rapid pick up online for the first time here and it worked great- I was able to easily order food, choose a time I wanted to pick it up ( starting as soon as within the next 5-10 minutes), and when I arrived I was in and out in 1 minute! The order slip was clearly attached to the front of my bag and I like that someone signs the slip indicating your order was double checked. I like to quick check myself just in case but haven't had any problems at this location.
Panera is a solid choice for a fast casual meal. They have good (mostly on the healthy side) salads, sandwiches, soups, and baked goods to choose from. Pretty standard fare, I tend to get the "you pick 2" option to try a couple different things. A couple favorite sandwiches are the Frontega Chicken Panini and the Steak Arugala. The bowls of soup are small IMO. Prices are generally very reasonable.. I did randomly notice that they have a kids PB & J sandwich for $4.60 which seems a little ridiculous. Staff friendliness can be hit and miss.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 24, 2017
Your standard Panera. Counter, sweets, coffee and the bonus... a few groups of old people enjoying their week day morning with friends and coffee. So cute! I was only here about an hour for breakfast and a quick review of work emails.
Situated close to a target, parking was plentiful on a Tuesday morning. I did not see a drive thru. And their wasn't a huge rush of people in the morning.
Sometimes they limit internet to 30 minutes, but I had no issue.
Coffee seemed to be refreshed at least hourly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - LaTasha S.Minneapolis, MN23166149Aug 11, 2017
Ahhhhhh, where do I begin!
Welp, I was hesitant to come to this location as we normally go to the one in Maple Grove, but I thought why not!?
Well there were lots of older folks here (rude ones) and the service, well it was alright.
I ordered 3 soups and 3 sandwiches, well they made the mistake of stuffing the bag FULL and it basically burst as I went to put it in the car. It was raining (and yes I had an umbrella) however almost everything fell on the ground and got wet, so I had to head back in for replacements.
I didn't have to say anything the manager took the items and headed to the back to her "food preparers" they seemed to be thrilled and attempted to use a filter when discussing the issue, when the could have just waited until I left.
Well when arriving home, I discovered they just "threw" my sandwiches together and barely provided us with a decent amount of meat! The soups were the usual flavor, but I can guarantee you this, I won't be back to this location!
Step it up, Brooklyn Center Panera Bread!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kelsey P.Minneapolis, MN201155129Mar 9, 2016Updated review
Sigh. It's like this location was playing a game of "let's see how bad it can get before she updates her review." I come here for dinner most week nights Jan-April during my busy season, and the first two-ish weeks were great!
I don't know what happened after that, but something happened and it got worse. And worse. And worse. Now, if I go there five times a week, my order will be wrong at least four of those times. It's to the point where I would rather eat nothing than try to order from this location. Last night/today was the last straw. Literally everything about the order was wrong. There are 6 ingredients on the salad I order. ...I got three of them. They're always out of most of the sides (2-3 hours before close), I often get the wrong dressing or no dressing, there's usually sauce/other food all over everything. It's disgusting.
You could not pay me to go back. It's just not worth it.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jan 14, 2016Previous reviewI love this Panera! I've had dinner from here three days in a row now (yes, I know I'm hopeless), and each night it's been delicious!
I order online before I leave work then just stop by and grab my food. All three times, I've gotten there within five minutes of my estimated arrival time and my dinner is sitting on the pick-up shelf, ready to go, but is still warm, so it's not like they prepared it immediately and let it sit there for a half hour. In and out in 30 seconds.
I looked around a little last night, and the restaurant looked clean, the servers were smiling, *shrugs* I'd eat there if I wasn't always so antsy to get home.
We've been getting the pick-2 menu each night, so you get any combination of soup, Mac n' cheese, salads, sammies, or flatbreads. The sizing is pretty generous and we've found that it's perfect for my fiancé and I to share, either for lunch or a small dinner. All for $10-12! - Latina L.Osseo, MN12634Nov 14, 2018
Omg this place has gotta so slow and I think it's due to the online orders and or delivery orders. It took over 20 mins to get a chicken salad. While waiting all I heard was delivery order. Sad

The only thing I enjoyed from this place was their creamy chicken wild rice soup. The soup came with bread that felt like it has been left out for days. The texture was very hard and stale. I also ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich. That was very good as the avocado tasted very fresh! I will definitely go back for more soup.

The food here is always good but I have to tell you about Allison/AJ who took my order. She didn't know that I had the worst day at work the day before and I had come in as a pick me up in my day off to get a good quick meal. She was just so nice to me. She struck up the sweetest conversation and complimented my smile. She could've talked me into another meal if she kept going it that kind of customer service is rare and I wanted to give her a shoutout. Thank you so much!!!

I used to love going to Panera for their food but I am rethinking my position. When we got there, there was a long line and two registers open so my family went to the shorter line. As we made it to the front of the line the person taking orders walked away without a word. However, there was another employee just standing at the next register. As I looked at her expectantly she said: "I'm not taking orders." A little miffed, my family reluctantly went back to the first line at which point the first employee came back to her recently vacated register and said she could help the next person! And after all that the cobblestone was small and not good, my bagel didn't come with anything to spread on it! I don't know if I will ever go back to that location or any Panera Bread for quite some time.
