I usually don't come to Panera because I personally can make the foods they sell better at home. Anyways, I've been to many different Paneras in Boston, New York, and in Los Angeles. But this one in particular had the worst qualities out of all the Paneras I've been to.

Food: Mediocre as always, I usually get Chicken Noodle Soup and or Mac N Cheese.

Service: Alright, but I've seen better. But I have to admit, Panera didn't get me a refund when they didn't have something in stock. Instead, they didn't even value what I got and gave me something that was cheaper than what I paid for. Whatever. And the workers here just seem miserable!

Ambiance: Calm, but there were times where I witnessed people talking loudly on their phones..

But the MAIN reason why I'm writing a review for this place is about their cleanliness. I came to eat here with a friend and I saw a rat running around! That is absolutely disgusting and horrifying. I don't think I will ever be back.

This location is where I get lunch more often than I would care to admit. Like all Paneras, its a tad overpriced for lunch - but much healthier than most of the options in the area (unless you opt for the baked-potato soup). They sport a surprisingly friendly staff, and as long as you don't go at noon, they're quick as well. One nice part about this location is the additional seating in the back of the restaurant. Even on the busiest days I've always managed to find a seat.

I'm not one for posting one star reviews normally, but the level of failure attained in this order went beyond horrible, to just plain impressive. Looking back it's just hilariously bad.

Ordered a oatmeal quinoa power bowl, which is a new menu item consisting of oatmeal, topped with a little quinoa, almonds and honey. I ask if it's possible to also have strawberries on that, which comes on their normal oatmeal. It's a dollar extra. I decide, hey, let's go crazy today, I'll do the extra dollar for the strawberries.

The manager is training what looks like every employee in the place on how to do everything. They have this neat computer screen at the pick up area showing everyone's orders and how long the person who has been waiting, and the order they ordered in. Time passes, everyone before me gets served, everyone after me gets served, employees keep asking me what I've been waiting on, it's oatmeal. After 15 minutes, it's still oatmeal. They must be slow cooking this stuff in a cauldron out back. Or maybe doing some raw-soaked overnight oatmeal. Anyways eventually everything is figured out and I leave with a bag of food.

Upon arriving to work I open the oatmeal container, which is filled half way with: quinoa, almonds, a drizzle of honey, and NO OATMEAL and NO STRAWBERRIES that they charged an extra dollar for. After the staff discussing a million times if the oatmeal was ready and where was the oatmeal, someone looked in this bowl containing NO oatmeal, and said "well, we did all we could here, send it out! Good effort everyone!" Or maybe a more sly, "We really wish we could have made oatmeal happen in 15 minutes, but we're going to have to send out a decoy oatmeal and hope no one notices. God help us if she's smart enough to open everything in her order before leaving"

In addition the 20 min I spent in there after validating my parking at Blick sent me over the time limit in the parking lot and I was charged an extra $6 for parking to have this bowl of failure prepared for me. All and all the best $12 half-bowl of dry quinoa I've ever had.

My $12 bowl of failure oats. To their defense, it was about as tasty as a bowl of dry quinoa and almonds could be. I ate it.

I really like the setup of this panera. The place is very comfy and the food is really good. Their hazelnut coffee is great too. I'm a big fan of their cobb salad!

I would give them 4 stars if the bathrooms were cleaner.

This Panera is a great place to get work done on the weekends. They offer plenty of space and the food is always on point with the selection available. Strongly recommend going to this location if you happen to be in the area.

All this talk about the pig flu is making me hungry - I was craving a Bacon Turkey Bravo from Panera Bread. Plus I have 4 full coffee punch cards that I have to use by June 1st because they are discontinuing this program.

The location in Fenway is a little far to walk for lunch, but there are always shuttles running that way from the LMA. I rode the motorcycle and parked behind the art store. At first I thought the dining room was very small, then I realized they had another large dining room up the stairs. Plenty of chairs, tables, booths, power outlets for your laptop and wifi.

They had a new soup that I had not tried yet - Forest Mushroom. It was garlicy and delicious! The Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich was excellent as usual. I ordered a frozen (blended) mocha and they made me a regular iced mocha - he quickly made me the correct drink and let me keep both - I was jacked-up on caffeine for the rest of the day!

Great job with the grand opening today! They had 6 registers open and even with the huge line I had my order taken and had gotten my food within 10 minutes.

As for the food - great corn chowder, average sierra turkey sandwich, and below average clam chowder. The pecan roll was the best out of all the food that I had. Everything was clean and spacious and an added bonus was that they were giving out free samples. I would certainly come down to grab a loaf of bread whenever possible. They looked amazing!

It's a great addition to the Fenway area and much needed too since I no longer want to eat Fresh City while at work.

I don't think I would normally write a review for a Panera Bread, but this is the BEST place to study/work in all of Boston! First off, free wifi and power outlets. Secondly, soda/coffee refills. Thirdly, the set up is ideal- there is a second level that wraps around the back, so you have more privacy than in other coffee shops. Fourthly, fireplaces!

So you can enjoy your panera coffee and sandwiches and "I just finished another problem" cookie rewards in a convenient location with an ideal studying atmosphere.

      I like the breads, alot.

I am really bummed that the roast beef is ALWAYS so well done...they think most people prefer it that way...D'Angelo's and others seem to disagree.

      Onion soup is pretty good.

      Can be long lines.

They also cut you off using their wifi after 30 mins during lunch...I almost gave them 1 star for that, but it's very frustrating.

pretty big panera around fenway. lots of college kids at this location.

they have some self ordering machines so you can skip the lines. pretty cool concept. they bring the food to your table, which is a nice touch but not really necessary. they have all their drink cups sitting out so i'm sure some people take their own without paying.

self service ordering. pretty cool but i'm pretty sure people take the cups without paying.
for example, this lady got a water cup and got soda
