I very rarely go to Panera anymore but went there today. Ordered a Goddess Caprese Melt and added bacon to it. It's a new sandwich they have. Now, I think they may have given me the wrong sandwich but I don't think I got what I was supposed to. Nevertheless, that happens sometimes, but the sandwich I did receive looked absolutely so sad, Just see below. I was supposed to have cheese and all sorts of stuff but this is just pathetic. For the cost of what so called fast-food, quick eats, whatever are charging now, this is just ridiculous. Needless to say, I won't be coming back for a long time. This was around $12. Make it make sense.
Side note, my mom enjoyed her sandwich.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jennifer S.Woodbridge, VA0201Jan 30, 2024
Wow! The customer service is just so wow! I am super picky about my food and the amazing staff helped me pick a sandwich out and it was perfect! Omg and the iced coffee is OG.

No oh boy, what is actually happening? Stood at the counter to order. Two employees (backs were to me) visited about stuff while I stood there, waiting one turned around
Me " do I order here"
Her "You can"
Fast forward, my pager died and I had to go up and ask.
Her: you're foods at the other counter"
Food used to be good at any Panera.
Fast forward, could have been a better experience.
And the real kicker is .... NO iceHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Katie W.Bellevue, WA2242512Nov 20, 2023
Always excellent service at this Panera location! Food is always ready on time, fresh, and delicious. Any mistakes made are promptly corrected. Workers are all friendly and welcoming! I had the teriyaki warm bowl and a cookie. I was offered free samples from the bakery as I ate my lunch. Worth all 5 stars!

I haven't had Panera for breakfast since before Covid. I usually am on the road by 6am and they are no longer open that early. Today I was finally able to stop a little before 9am because I had a change in hours (9:30am start).
I really couldn't read the breakfast menu in the drive thru lane because it was so far off away from the speaker. But I knew I wanted a coffee and a sausage and egg sandwich on ciabatta, eggs cooked through! **I ordered this once before and was given runny eggs and it dripped all down my work clothes. Lesson learned. Assume I'm eating IN the car since I'm ordering IN the drive thru lane. Runny eggs is not a good thing! *
The young cashier asked me if I wanted OVER EASY EGGS. I said again "I want eggs well cooked". " So, over easy?" NO, those would be runny! Let's try scrambled.
Okay, I'm the first in line, pay for the order and get handed my coffee. The young girl told me my "order would be right out". And then I sat there for 15 MINUTES with no further communication on what was taking so long. There's now a line of cars behind me. I can see about 5 workers in the window putting together orders, but no ones coming back to the window. I honk my horn to get someone's attention. The young girl came back to the window and said my sausage is cooking. For 15 mins? And it's only 1 hour after opening, still the breakfast rush. Why aren't they ready to go!? I told her I'm going to be late for work (20+min commute) and can't wait for sausage to cook. I would like a refund. Bacon was offered in replacement, which by now I was over it. If it's going to be quicker than getting a manager, fine, give me the meat I didn't order/want.
I know there are service shortages, yadda yadda yadda. But I saw 5 people in the back, and it's still breakfast hours. It should not take over 15 mins to get a food order in the drive thru with no one in front of you. If it does, then you shouldn't offer one. And maybe be open with communication so I don't seem forgotten in the cold. Hey, it's gonna be a little bit as we just ran out of sausage. Is that okay or can we sub another protein?
As far as taste, the coffee was delicious. And I got my scrambled eggs. I could taste the pepper seasoning. And the ciabatta was crunchy and warm. Didn't care for their bacon. I wanted the juicy, salted, circle shaped, sausage patty.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kathryn C.Norfolk, VA021Aug 6, 2023
Your employee Monica Carbin retaliates against customers by finding them on Facebook and sending them harassing messages. As someone who was seeing family back home and picking up a couple of bagels I ran into someone I knew. I thought all was well until I opened up Facebook messages to see Monica acknowledge my appearance in the store and proceeding to send messages about an issue 2 YEARS AGO. Extremely unprofessional. So sad Panera chooses to hire people with unresolved mental health issues to the point where it effects customer service. What are your morals? What does Panera Bread stand for?

Very flavorful sandwich and soup. Just a really nice place and upscale presentation. Love all the breads they have. Will be coming back for sure.

I was here the other day, to get my food to-go. Whenever I stop here I always impressed with the service, and how serious they take people's health. Not only do they space people apart, but they also make sure to to get you a new cup for refills. When I stopped here there was hardly a line, so it only took a few minutes to get my food. It seems that the 1/2 soup and sandwich combo is worth the price. I really liked the turkey and avocado sandwich with some tomato soup. Definitely would like to try that combo maybe again. I will most definitely be back soon, maybe to try yet a different combination.

I avoid Panera like I'd avoid 13 black cats under a ladder on Friday the 13th after the bacon turkey bravo got microsized - along with everything else. (I spent $50 here for 2 adults and 2 kids and we were hungry like almost immediately.) My wife demanded chicken & wild rice soup so I got the You Pick Two-Tenths. The chile lime chicken salad I tried had 2 thin pieces of chicken and I was enraged when I saw how little dressing - 1/2 empty - you got in what had to be a 1.5 ounce cup. Our family goes to the O.G. for $8.99 early bird special or even primetime $10.99 you-call-it pasta dishes.
Panera portions are SHAMEFUL, even our young son who got kids mac & cheese here with a gift card commented on how he didn't want to go back because "there was so little food." AVOID!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dana C.Minneapolis, MN5553Dec 8, 2019
I usually love Panera Bread and visit there at least a few times a week. Unfortunately at the Blaine location I've been shocked by how small some of the portions are and how the group of what looks like high school kids working never seem to listen or get my order correct; even when there are right off the menu.
Some examples:
- I once spent $18 on 4 yogurts that were barely half full
- My Bacon Turkey Bravo had no bacon on it
- The Green Goddess Cobb Salad had no egg in it
- If you order butter for the baguette, don't expect it to be included as it is always missing
- The Great Grain Mediterranean Bowl was less than half full
- I asked for unsweetened green tea and received sweet tea.
I'm getting frustrated with the fact that I am spending around $20 for a meal and it's is always underwhelming. Whoever is managing this location is probably doing great on food cost budget at the expense of customer satisfaction.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
