Everything was great. We had such a nice, relaxed, and intimate vibe at the restaurant.
Food was delicious. Wine is cheaper than other restaurants. Don't know why this restaurant doesn't have more diners. (We went on a snowy cold day) hope more people go! Service was very attentive. - 2392313494/8/2023
I hate to be a Debby downer but this was the worst carbonara I've ever had. The sauce was chunky and I swear I could've tasted egg whites? There was no egg yolk in sight and probably only 6 small chunks of bacon. It also lacked significant flavor and the presentation was messy in my opinion.
I also ordered a martini and couldn't even finish half of it because it was way too sour. The flavors were not balanced and enjoyable. Table bread was mediocre. Our server was very sweet but one server brought us the wrong wine and never noticed. I wouldn't go back- the food was bad and way too expensive for the lack of quality you get. - Niraj M.West Dundee, IL571492/15/2023
Valentine's Day dinner - their head chef didn't show up. The manager was prepping food for all the guests. It took over an hour to get the entrees. Also, they were understaffed. Servers were overwhelmed running around waiting so many tables, that we had to remind twice to get us some bread and water.
My $15 old fashioned tasted of Jameson instead of a bourbon - just stick to your wine if of you have to drink something.
We ordered pasta and The food was similar to your Cheesecake Factory pasta.
On top of that , even a party of 2 would get a 20% gratuity despite their poor service. On questioning , our server blamed the manager for the mandatory gratuity.
Free validated parking is for 2 hours. It took us more then that. Their hostess told us to let the parking attendant know , they were backed up in the kitchen and would let us out. To our surprise, the parking attendant said , it's same story everyday at Pacino's and would not let us out without paying extra.
It's just another restaurant in a mall.
Avoid it if possible. - 7042206429/28/2022
Very disappointed with the food here. To start, the complimentary breads served in the beginning of the meal were stale
What we ordered:
Cozze alla Pacino's - best dish from the night. we really enjoyed this but our server took the dish away without asking if we were done with it...
Margherita Pizza - the dough was so thick compared to the pizza toppings. it reminded me of the pizza served in the elementary school cafeteria
Bucatini Bolognese - standard
Rigatoni Vodka - the best out of the three pastas we ordered. it tasted ok
Spaghetti Carbonara - the cheese separation made the dish very unappetizing to eat. it looked very oily
If we were to revisit, we will try some other menu items instead - 1124702347/23/2022
This is a cool place. The South Loop does not have a lot of Italian restaurants, so it was a nice change of pace.
I booked a reservation online, which considering they weren't busy we were seated immediately. Unfortunately, we were seated near the only other patrons eating there and one of them was drunk. She was so drunk she commented on our conversation, laughing at things that weren't jokes. It was very awkward because she was on a date and her date didn't appear to be intoxicated. When the next couple came in she interacted with them in a polite manner. She was quite lively, but if the restaurant was over serving her mixed drinks they shouldn't have seated anyone near her. Let her date enjoy her conversation, not us.
Anyway, I ordered the calamari with spicy sauce. The sauce wasn't spicy and the calamari was very lightly seasoned. I would order it again because it was cooked so perfectly, but the seasoning not so much. We also ordered a tilapia with veggie, I loved it!
Major pluses-
The place is very clean!
The cutlery and dishes are fairly new and present well.
All of the food is cooked soft so not over cooked. The wine was poured in perfect proportions. They aren't going to under or over pour the wine, trust me.
Great wine and drink selection
They offer bread, but it's not cut all the way through and it's kind of hard on the outside which made it a bit harder to eat.
The host was super polite, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I will definitely eat here again. They validate your parking, so if you drive here just for dinner and you move your car in under two hours the parking is free. Trust me that comes in handy for the winter.
Great service, good product. - 271756475/8/2022
My girlfriend suggested this place in the South Loop and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was delicious! The place was really cute and 2 hours parking is free. However, we stayed over 3 hours and had to pay $12. That just means we were having a great time!
The reason why I gave only 4 stars was because the manager was screaming to other workers right next to our table. Non stop. We weren't sure if he was speaking to us and we had to stop mid sentence in our conversations multiple times to accommodate to his screaming just so we can hear ourselves talk again. Other than that, the food was delicious.
A little stingy on the wine. So next time I might not order wine for the amount of money I paid.
We got the stuffed clams, calamari, linguine di mare, carbonara, white fish and shared a dessert. Everything was delicious and we had enough to bring home. I would go back again for the food alone but no wine next time. If you're in the neighborhood and loves Italian food, definitely give this place a try! - 7744152884/1/2022
My boyfriend and I decided to do date night and walk to Roosevelt Collection to watch a movie but we needed to decide on a spot for dinner. We decided to go to Pacino's since it was right next door and we had never tried it.
The space is massive! There is plenty of dining space with also a wrap around bar that you can sit at and outdoor dining as well. I loved how the decor was and how quick and efficient the waiter was.
They first bring bread with olive oil and Parmesan, which was so tasty. We decided to get a bottle of red wine and ordered the burrata for appetizer. I love a good burrata dish! For the main course, I got the cacio de Pepe and my boyfriend ordered the pasta Al vodka. The portions were huge. I could barely finish mine. He was disappointed in his dish because he felt the pasta was not fresh and the sauce tasted like chef Boyardee. I took a bite and felt that it was not very good.
Overall, we have had better Italian restaurants but the service was great. - Vincent S.Chicago, IL95354856/7/2023
A nice little gem in my neighborhood. Great service and great food. The menu has numerous options. Nice wine selection.

food was INCREDIBLE. the carbonara was to die for. truly. wine was fantastic and the burratta and bruschetta were drool worthy. the place itself is beautiful but my only complaint is that the music is a little loud and a little inconsistent. we went from dean martin to olivia rodrigo and back a few times. our server was pedro the bartender and he made us some incredible pre-dinner drinks!! the empress 75 is a dream. overall great experience :)
