Pacific Solar just finished installing 28 Sunpower panels on my home last week. They were extremely professional the whole way through, and completed the work in less time than I expected. The panels look great and the system is performing exactly as promised - I love watching that meter run backwards! I can even monitor my production on my iphone. I would definitely recommend Pacific Solar.

The solar system install is complete. The owners made sure that we received everything that we were promised. We are monitoring our system and our first PG&E bill shows we're on line and independent of the high charges.

All of our contractors have done amazing work on our home from the new roof, house painting, new fences, new a/c and heating.
However, this installation with Pacific Solar is not going the way they promised us.
Last Thursday, their sales manager Dan told us us to expect the installers on Friday, June 16 between 7 am to 8 am. Instead, their installers showed up after 9:30 am - 10 am and no one called me with a new time change. When I called, Dan said that their electrician was out sick and so we would only have their two installers on Friday and the electrician would finish on Monday, June 19.
Today (Monday), their electrician texted me at 7:02 am and said that they would be arriving soon and would that be okay? I texted back "yes" within a short time frame, but since I did not answer Joaquin's two phone calls, they went on to another job.
I was told later today by their team (Derek and Joe and the electrician Joaquin) that they had to finish up another job in the morning. Today, they arrived at 1:25 pm and stopped working at 6:20 pm.
Their project manager, Joesph called me at 6:15 pm and said "they won't be back until Thursday to finish the job." What made it worse was their project manager was rude and blamed me for missing the two calls this morning, even though I texted back within a short time frame.
ATTN: Pacific Solar Owners: What about sending your client a text reminder or call the day before to confirm the time of arrival??? Communication is helpful for clients, since Solar is not inexpensive.
They seem like they don't have office staff when you call - their sales manager Dan answers the phone when I called.
We hired this company based on the way they handled our questions and roof measurements and the contract plus, #SunPower is a great product. They have great reviews online - Yelp and Google. We really felt assured by our sales person Kurt Leonard that he would make sure that we were taken good care of during the installation process. Saw Kurt once yesterday very briefly. No further help from him.
Now, I will have to reschedule my Client appointments in LA on Thursday, since I am here in Fresno.
Will update this post with photos and an updated review, once they complete the job.

Beware! My Sales rep, Brennan, got me to sign a contract for installing solar panels by promising is would be done in 2019, making me elig for the 30% tax rebate. Next they moved the installation to Dec 31, 2019. Then on the night before install called and rescheduled to Jan 2 2020, dropping rebate to 26%. Their reason: busy with another job.
Then on Jan 2 texted "We have 2 installers out sick today because of that we are not able to install."
Complaint 1854259 opened with Sunpower. Owner, Dave, changed excuse to "bad weather" and rescheduled to Jan 3 2020
Not a damn thing I can do about it because I relied on their verbal assurances.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Larry P.Fresno, CA76Mar 31, 2020

I have had a few different companies bid for solar on my home. Pacific Solar was by far the best option; the quality of panel and install, the price point, and the offsetting of my PG&E bill are all within my wants and needs as a homeowner. Furthermore my energy consultant Brennan is an honest, knowledgeable, and reliable individual. I look forward to my next interaction with this locally owned and operated company.

I have nothing but great things to say about Pacific Solar. It was an amazing
experience from start to finish. Their level of professionalism was above and beyond. The sales process was smooth and painless. The installers were top notch and willing to go above and beyond to make me (the client) happy.
I spent a lot of time researching the different brand panels out there and Sun Power has by far one of the best products on the market. Once I decided what panels I wanted I searched for local solar companies around The Valley that were authorized resellers. I made some calls and got quotes from four different local solar companies. The owner of Pacific Solar and sales rep (Bam) came out to look at the home and talk to me about their company and installations. I met three of the four companies researched in person and the friendly attitudes of the Pacific Solar reps impressed me the most.
We had 20 panels installed on our rooftop. The installation was clean and all cabling/conduit was ran through the interior crawl spaces. I have seen a lot of sloppy solar installs on neighbors rooftops and this is by far one of the cleanest installations on the block. The inverter was mounted inside on the garage and not on the exterior of the home.
The whole process from start to finish was fast. We signed in June, panels were installed on Friday August 2nd, the City of Clovis came out to inspect that following Monday, and PG&E swapped out the meter August 12th! I love coming home from work and looking at the PG&E meter as it displays "Received", meaning I am sending power to them and not the other way around.
I referred a co-worker to Pacific Solar and recommended he shop around as I did before signing. Long story short his experience was similar to mine, he just signed on a 24 panel system. To anyone seriously looking into a solar purchase or lease I highly recommend at the least getting a quote from these guys, you will not be disappointed.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
