P. Terry's Burger Stand

I had a good experience at this P. Terry's. Great location downtown, very convenient, good food too and great value.

It was a pretty small restaurant but there felt like a lot of seating. Service was good - the cashier was nice and we got our food pretty quick too!

The only complaint I have is that the bathroom was pretty messy. But overall, I had a good experience here and would come back

We were walking down Congress Street looking for a place to eat - we found this gem! It was amazing to have 3 meals for only $26! The plus is that it was actually pretty cool good and filling.

This is great for a quick late night snack. Prices are low. I found my burger and shake met my needs exactly. Staff was nice. I think I waited less than five mins for my order.

A local recommended this place. All the seating is along the wall and window. It was too many flies in the restaurant for me. The burger was okay and they had breakfast potatoes for fries. Uhmm just not my preference. They fixed my burger incorrectly and then frowned as if I messed it up when I asked her to redo it. I probably won't visit any location but the food was a 3 out 5. The wait time was not bad at all.

I got the double cheeseburger (no combo). Combo includes burger, fries, and drink. Everything on the menu is available even during breakfast hours, which was when I went.

They asked me if regular was ok. I assumed it meant with everything-it included tomatoes, lettuce, onions-and I said yes.

It wasn't as fast as I thought it would be considering there was only one customer before me and waited about 5 minutes.

The burger was good! Juicy patty and cheese is great. A great fast food place to stop by.

Pretty basic, greasy burger, but this location was really dirty.

From photos online, this place looked okay to stop in for a quick bite to eat. It's at the end of the bar district on 6th street, so it had some "riff raff" hanging around the door. Inside, like I mentioned in the beginning, it was really dirty inside (floors, napkins hanging out of the dispenser, straw wrappers on the floor, etc.).

Cashier didn't seem very interested in her job at all. She was looking at her phone while ringing up our order. We got two burgers, and two pops (one coke and one dr. pepper). My Dr. Pepper, ended up being a root beer somehow. While we were sitting eating at the high top table people-watching as people walked by, we saw flies flying around, so we quickly ate and got out of there.

Other locations elsewhere throughout the city are better I guess.

Stopped by to get a double cheeseburger and oreo shake and both were very good and excellent value. Simple straightforward menu. Small place with some seating, we ate there. Would definitely recommend.

Went to T. Perry's for dinner with my kids tonight since it was walking distance from our hotel, Austin Marriott Downtown. The person taking our order spoke limited English which had me concerned for accuracy for our orders. Finding a clean table/counter area was a challenge. Burgers were good, almost correct. The fries were cold. I wanted to order a cookie to go but they were out.

Best quick burger in town. As a Californian, I'm going to have to say I like them better than in n out... don't kill me.

Good old greasy burger and fries, perfection. Great prices. Hole in the wall in downtown Austin, not far from 7th street.
