Outback Steakhouse

We used to love this Outback. In our last few visits we've noticed a slide in Quality and consistency. But we came back. Not again. I had an order of fried shrimp that was worse than a box from the freezer. Batter no seasoning shrimp equals super bland.

Didn't eat them at the restaurant and I thought maybe I can fix them up and make them taste better at home or something. No,this wasn't worth it so I brought them back to the restaurant the next day. The manager started defensively by saying "we haven't sold any of those in the restaurant today" challenging my honesty . I told them I bought them at dinner the day before and I had made a special trip to bring them back. I wasn't looking for anything like a reimbursement. That was my Outback and I thought they would be cool. I handed him back the shrimp and left.

This episode helped us discover the Carrabba's next-door which is in a whole different league. It's delicious with great service. I'm going to send the $61 receipt plus whatever the tip was.. (at least 20% always )to owner John Henderson. I don't want anything back either. Your daytime manager is a clown. That's my goodbye letter. We're not coming back.

I ate at Outback Steak House again. The food was Amazing!! I started with a bowl of french onion soup, followed by my fresh salad, and porterhouse steak.
I had a baked potato with extra butter and a dollop of sour cream. Of course, I couldn't eat all of it....so I was given to- go containers. The food was awesome and enjoyed every bite. Thank you Outback for hitting a home run for me!!
I will be back!!

So many restaurants live on their history these days...sadly this is one of them. How can one destroy a hamburger? Well, one can especially if one overcooks it and brings it to your table soaking in grease. The fries were undercooked.
Then to make things worse, the server is serving the public with long, long hair streaming down his little shoulders...uncovered and unkempt. Where is management? Where are the guidelines? The damn common sense? Never returning to this place!!!!

We had a family birthday celebration for my 9 year old grandson at Outback Steak House in Ellicott City yesterday evening. Connor was our WONDERFUL server! He handled our large party with such care and attention! He was kind and anticipated everyone's needs before saying. Connor was patient and engaging with the small children in our group. What was particularly touching was watching Connor physically help an older woman who was having a lot of trouble getting up from a table next to us. He was so gentle and sweet as he assisted her to her feet. Connor is truly one of a kind! He handled our large party and his several other tables all with a constant smile, a bubbly personality, efficiency and genuine care and concern. Connor is a perfect example of the BEST in the food industry! Connor is a gem! Connor is a true asset to the Outback brand!! Thank you so much, Connor, for making our special celebration truly special!

U can no come here with out getting the wings ... delicious per usual ... was with my mom and daughter ... we loved the blooming onion. Our waitress was very friendly. The service was fast parking was easy.

We came last night for Easter and had Connor as our waiter. He was amazing! All our good and drinks came out perfectly and he was on top of everything, brought us out what we needed without even asking. He made our night! He needs a raise!

This visit was very good. Our waitress Jenna was excellent. The tall Foster's beer is a great value. We had ribs and they were very good.

We decided to go out for dinner at the last minute and chose Outback. I hadn't been here in a while but I was pleasantly surprised.

We added our name to the waitlist online which allowed us to be seated right away upon arrival. They sat us a table that was placed was pretty close to another table but it was crowded and we were hungry so we didn't complain.

Our waiter Connor was very nice! He was extremely helpful and made sure to attend to our table frequently to make sure we had everything we needed.

Our food was great and nice portion sizes. We had a great experience and will definitely be back!

We were seated & after 15 min I asked for the manager. As u can see there were little customers in there. Ppl sat behind us & napkins, water & bread was rushed to the table immediately after they were seated. The manager gave us one piece of cake as a comp for the bad service & I'm not gonna speak about the food. The mac & cheese was dry & the so-called lobster was terrible.

Stopped in for a quick bite. We were immediately greeted and seated. We ordered appetizers and a signature cocktail.

After an oddly long wait, the cocktail arrived and was NOTHING like it was described. I notified the server immediately, pointing out that is was made wrong (pointing to the written description and picture). (The drink was supposed to have a cinnamon and sugar rum and edible art, which were both missing.) The server, instead of reading and listening to the obvious, told me that the drink was right. I pointed to the rim of the glass in front of me and held the picture of the drink next to mine. He insisted that the drink was right and then said he would have it remade if I wanted. I advised that I only want what I ordered. He then went to the bar. He returned explaining that the bar was out of the ingredients needed to make the signature drink.

It didn't have to be a big deal, but I don't like being told that something is right when it's clearly wrong. The server was "nice" but should have really taken a moment to listen and look before trying to stand so firmly.

The service was slow, relative to the amount of customers. The manager never came to the table to inquire/confirm our experience. The blooming onion was undercooked and salty. The coconut shrimp were amazing.

I am dissatisfied and disappointed as this locals typically better.

My wife and I just got back from our Sunday Valentine's Day dinner. This is our first return to the Ellicott City restaurant in a few decades. Everything we ordered was excellent. The service was the best I have had at any steakhouse in the U.S. for a few years now. We chose to go to the Outback because we had Fleming's gift cards to use, and the company told us that Outback would honor the gift cards. Didn't happen/couldn't happen so I will talk with them again. Things went well at the Outback restaurant and the two of us had a great time! Very nice manager, great wait staff (we will ask for Carolyn again) and great restaurant organization/vibes.
