Love the Orlando science center. We especially love the adult over 21 nights where we get to be the big "kids" support this local gem. Yelp does big events here to showcase local business and vendors it has been a go to for the who's who of Orlando!

I can't believe I haven't already reviewed the Orlando Science Center! Earlier this week, I checked in at the Yelp Masquerade ball and thought for sure I would have a review so it was a surprise and a bit of a shock to realized I haven't written a review of this awesome and fun and awesome and amazing museum that we are privileged to have in Orlando. And honestly, this is a hidden gem in Orlando. Four floors of fun, fabulously organized and it covers everything from dinosaurs to telescopes and in between!

I love the interactivity of the games, which bring out the inner kid in me and make the explanations behind the science so much easier to understand. And the nerd in me gets super delighted to get to learn new things. They also have cool adult events in the evenings and their special days are really thoughtfully curated. This Center has something for everyone, whether you are 5 or 50 or 105!

I'm a huge fan of science museums and this one in particular is amazing because they really focus on the interactive exhibits! It's honestly the best activity in the summer to get out of the Florida heat.

Mindbender Mansion is on exhibition until Sept. 5th and was tons of fun for my husband and me regardless of our age. Although I really hope that they have an adults night for this one -- I felt bad doing ones that there were lots of kids at (we are adults after all).

The exhibits are primarily geared towards young kids and there are plenty running around (with and without parents) and it is definitely not a quiet experience.

If you enter the building from any other entrance other than the skywalk (i.e. From the Loch Haven park) you have to exit and enter again on the second floor. This was confusing for us -- but we are glad we did because there are admission bands.

It's also the perfect venue for food events and I can't wait to try out one of their Science Night Live! days

This was, by far, the best interactive museum I have been. The kids (5&1) had a great time, even my husband enjoyed himself. $5 to park but worth it. The the 2nd and 4th floor were packed with exhibits including an awesome super hero exhibit and a live animal exhibit. There is a subway sandwich restaurant inside if you get hangry... and a coffee stand on the second floor. The only thing that kind of sucked was the elevators were small and slow... since we had a stroller we dealt with them frequently and it was a hassle.

Love the Adult night they had recently. Much better experience for me versus all the children running around. My husband's favorite is still the dinosaur exhibit.

Awesome place to go on a hot or rainy day. Multiple floors of fun for kids 1-10 years old. Kidstown on the 1st floor is good for the youngest kids.

Not worth the time or money in my opinion. But to each their own. Most people I asked loved this place. So sorry to sh!t on it. But this was a waste of time and money. Kids had fun in the wind tunnel and green jungle gym of sorts, but that was about it. Some floors didn't even have anything but paintings. Also some showcases were empty like the bee hive etc...But you would have to be the judge.

Definitely the price of admission! My 5 year old could've spent days in each kids section if I didn't make him leave. I would definitely recommend this place for any parents who wants their kids to leave them alone for a few hours. Just take them to the indoor jungle gym/ play area and you won't see them again till it's time to lea

Being a Mechanical Engineer, I was really happy to see all the different types of hands on experiences available for kids to learn. There are so many cool science apparatuses to play with... err, I mean, for kids to play with! These apparatuses touch base on a lot of simple concepts such as electricity (ie. capacitors, circuits, light bulbs, Tesla coils), gravitational potential energy (i.e race cars powered by gravity), sound waves (i.e foam balls placed in clear tube connected to speaker with varying frequency inputs), mechanical leverages, and lots more. Other non-engineering related things to see is human anatomy, chemistry (they have live demonstrations and shows that are fun for kids), ecosystem (live alligators, reptiles, sting rays, and more). I sure wish I had this when I was little. All the kids there seemed amused.

Just a warning though, if you can't stand yelling children all over the place, don't come here. I saw someone bring a date here and I thought it was kind of funny.

Overall, the Orlando Science Center is definitely a great place to bring kids to because there is a lot to see and do here (not to mention the learning experience). They won't be bored and it beats sweating outside or getting wet on a rainy day. If you have a chance afterward, the Art museum is only a little a walking distance away and costs only $7 for students.

A huge guitar! It wasn't playable though
