Donna C.Conway, AR13528Nov 9, 2023We had lunch around 2:00. We ordered white cheese dip, taco salad & gran papi. I ordered my taco salad without peppers. Came out with peppers. Sent back - got questioned why I don't like peppers? Because I don't!!! So salad came back with lettuce and the big core of lettuce!!! I tore shell apart and ate with dip.
Restaurant was clean and waitress was pleasant.

The consumer service was great. The fish tacos had a fishy smell and tasted that way as well. The food was bland.

Aug 16, 2023Previous reviewTonight was THE worst night at this place. It took us 30 minutes to get our drinks. Another 30 minutes to get waited on. There were ONLY 3 tables eating!!! Got our food 90 minutes after we first sat down. WRONG food. Sent it back. We asked for a refill 4 times. Never got one til we were ready to leave. Our food FINALLY came at 9 pm. Almost TWO hours after we sat down. WRONG order. I ordered fish tacos. I don't even know what I got. Sent it back and said just box my order up. My husband was finished eating by the time I got my order. It was like almost 9:30. Got home. Looked at my food. They had put my fish tacos in hard corn tortilla shells. We are NEVER going back to this place. It's a shame too. We've been repeat loyal customers for over 5 years. On The Border? You need to get your act together.

Everyone was friendly, though, so it made the delays and slow service acceptable. Though it was busy the noise level was tolerable. Food was hot and fresh, chips were crisp and salty, and the kids loved their sopapillas for dessert. All in all a good meal. Biggest issue: Ladies bathroom was completely out of toilet paper and was in need of service.

We ordered fajitas and were shocked to find out when we got our check that we were charged an extra 99¢ for tortillas to go with them. We said something to the waitress who asked the manager to remove the charge and the manager declined.

We were without drink refills for so long I almost went into the bathroom to get water.The manager herself forgot an order and didn't bring it till the end of the meal and still charged us.The meal was so disappointing we will never go to this place again. I spoke with the manager after leaving to let her know how horrible the service was and she didn't do anything to redeem herself or overcome the problem.

Mr. J R.Dallas, TX58143Aug 5, 2022Took the family and the food was terrible and poorly prepared. Nothing tasted good. Lots of empty tables 08/05. I didnt complain and tipped the waiter as i feel bad for business owners trying to make it plus the workers but the cook needs training.
