I think the other folks were too critical. All of our food was made to order and very fresh. Fries, sweet and regular, were not greasy. Chicken fingers had REAL chicken and again not greasy. Chill cheese dog was so yum. Along with the chicken salad sandwich. Plus we had real coke from Mexico so it had sugar can and not high fructose corn syrup. If you want a taste of small town charm in Wilmore, this is your place.

Got a milkshake from here and it was so good! There are also many things to look at in the store while you wait for you food or drink!!

Get the pizza and be happy! A fun old soda fountain vibe, friendly people, and old-style gift shop, it's all an experience worth having. The best pizza is the one with honey, pineapple, and bleu cheese. I say that as someone who HATES bleu cheese, but they make it worth your while. Highly recommended! Of course if you come in expecting some fancy grill with a long menu you'll be disappointed--- sims is a working pharmacy and corner store. It is exactly what you see in Its A Wonderful Life- a multipurpose community institution, which happens to be amazing at milkshakes and pizza. So get the milkshakes and pizza, enjoy your 45 minutes in a really cute spot, then move along feeling good about your day!

The food is ok (at best), but let's be honest--don't come here if you're looking for a mind-blowing gastronomic experience. However, if you want to experience eating a simple snack or sip on a milkshake at an old-school soda fountain counter straight out of the 1950's attached to a functioning pharmacy, then this is your jam. 1.5 star food, 3.5 star ambiance.

I got a deal off amazon local so I thought I would try this old time soda fountain cafe/drug store. I decided to go well after lunch with a small mom and pop kind of feel. Looking over a small lunch cafe menu I was looking forward to some good eats with a root beer float to wash it down. The service was awful and the food was even worse. I ordered a chili cheese coney, swapping the chips for a house made salad. Took almost 40 minutes to get our food and my hot dog with chili and nacho cheese reminded me of high school cafeteria food. (My salad never made it to my table) the ketchup on the table was in packets and was so old it was separating in the packet, I asked for some different ketchup but was only given more packets. Nothing special to say about my
Float except it was the only thing that was half decent. Overall if your in Wilmore there's a subway down the street, avoid this place like Ebola
