Nobody likes coming to an urgent care, because not only is it expensive but your own physician couldn't treat you in the time frame you needed to be seen too. So you go to the urgent care as instructed. You present them with your drivers license and insurance card. Then wait for about 10-15 minutes for you name to be called to go into one of the examination rooms. Once you've entered the examination room the nurse (RN) prompts you with some general questions like what is your height and weight? You go through and answer all her questions so that the physician on call can treat your condition you've come in for. What I like that Ohio Health Urgent Care has that you all may not be aware of is they just got the EMR which is an electronic medical record system that the physician can just look through the computer and see what's wrong with you and that system stores your information. In the past you used to have the paper based records which was so hard because the nurse filled out everything on a piece of paper and then your doctor would have to read through that to understand how to treat you. I personally love the EMR and it's been really effective when I visit any doctor that has upgraded to it. Therefore, I give this urgent care a four star review for not only utilizing the EMR but also EPIC to help treat my skin condition I came in with. Plus they called in my prescription automatically to my CVS Pharmacy which was so helpful.
Yesss in and out got there right when they opened and the receptionist was kinda moody because I was filling out paper work at the counter and she asked me to move away from the window so others could be seen but there was no one there or behind me habit I guess lol I didn't move but dr York was good very professional and kind gave me pretty much what I asked for and then I went along my day five minute visit it was great thanks
SCAM - OHIOHEALTH URGENT CARE KEEP TELLING YOU TO COME BACK AND DO NOTHING TO HELP YOU, AND WHEN THEY RUN OUT OF IDEAS, THEY TELL YOU TO GO TO THE ER, AND THE DOCTOR WON'T CALL YOU BACK TO BRIEFLY DISCUSS. I am on a long term business assignment from out of town, when I came down with a sinus infection. On my first visit I was seen by the PA, who prescribed ZPack. 5 days later no improvement, so they said I should come in again. Second visit, I saw a doctor who said Zpack is ineffective against these now, and prescribed doxycycilin. 7 days later no improvement. Third visit I saw Dr. York who said neither of those two previous antibiotics were effective, and prescribed Levafloxicin. After two doses I had pains in my upper legs. When I asked the pharmacist she said to tell Urgent Care I can't tolerate Levafloxacin and to prescribe either Omnicef or Augmentin. When I called Urgent Care, "Tilley" said she would ask the Doctor and call back. She called back and said the doctor said I should go to the Emergency Room. I asked her to have the doctor call me back, and he never did. I then called the nurse help line with my insurance company, who said this was ridiculous (my thoughts too) and sent me to a Walgreen's Minute Clinic nearby. The Nurse Practitioner at Walgreen's saw me right away, and prescribed amoxicillan and a prescription decongestant/cough suppressant, as well as a few otc remedies. I am finally feeling better after only one trip to Walgreen's minute clinic Nurse Practitioner visit. I am extremely unsatisfied with the level of service from this Urgent Care and I don't recommend them.
I was on the mend from rather nasty cold thing when I got hit with new symptoms. So, I showed up here as a very sad panda, got checked in quickly and was in the exam room in less than 10 minutes. The Doctor looked me over, gave me an idea of what had happened and then suggested what he was going to prescribe. Everyone was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. And I was in-and-out in about an hour. If you're in the area and need to see a doctor quickly, this should be on your list of places to try.
I recently had to get lab work done and I had an excellent experience here! I hate having my blood taken, I am the type of person that requires the "padded-high-chair" because I am a faint-risk. I arrived at 12 o'clock noon, walked right in, confirmed I was me, sat in the chair, the nurse drew my blood, and I was out of there - 10 minutes (possibly less). Plus she was so nice and super sincere, talking me through it and keeping my mind focused elsewhere. Thank you Dublin Health Center for making this process so simple and relaxed!
I prefer the urgent care to my family doctor. Theres no appointment needed and the doctors can usually spend more time with you. If your insurance covers it, I highly recommend urgent care in Dublin. In particular, there's an incredible doctor named Dr. Mark Joseph. He will help you with what ails ya, but also make you laugh and blow your mind with his intelligence.
