Most importantly! I forgot to check in before I got my check and missed the opportunity to use my $5off coupon.
I'll update review shortlyHelpful 5Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Dec 7, 2019Updated review
I stand by my previous review of Ocean Paradise (formerly known as Yummy Crab)! I am still very impressed with the food and menu! There's still room for improvement with the service as it was a little slow even though the restaurant was far from busy, but the food spoke for itself and made me forget about the slower than average service.
With the rebranding, it seems the added items to the menu and now offer sushi options. I cannot speak on this behalf as I stuck with the steamed seafood they seem to be known for.
Again, my food was packed with flavor and the seafood tasted great. The steamed half tower was more than enough food for two adults, we were stuffed after finishing it! I have no complaints and I'll definitely be back. Hopefully their service will improve over time.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Adair, thank you so much for leaving us with this review. We are thrilled you enjoyed the food while dining with us, but we want to hear that you received great service as well. We will make sure to bring this up with our staff so we can improve. We hope to see you again in the future!
Mar 19, 2018Previous reviewI must say I was very impressed with this place and the food! I saw it recently opened & was hesitant due to the lack of reviews and reputation of this particular location and restaurants there in the past. My friend and I decided to give it a shot and I'm very glad we did! The food was great! We started with the mussels appetizer which was really good, only complaint is it wasn't hot, it was warm and I think it may have been sitting for a few minutes before being brought out.
As our meal we spilt a boil pot with blue crab, shrimp and crawfish. No complaints there. The seafood seemed fresh and the sauce & spices added just the right amount of flavor to it. We also split a crab cake and the calamari app for dinner as well- all very good!
Overall I was very impressed with the food! The service had some room for improvement as the servers seemed confused about who was getting our table and the server we had didn't seem to have much knowledge of particular items on the menu. Otherwise everything was great and I will definitely be back in the future. I hope this place is successful and makes it, it's worth a try if you're looking for something different at the beaches! - May 28, 2019
It's a turn off to get slow ass service when the restaurant is not even packed or full. My friends were really indecisive about wanting to eat here because they saw the oysters in the boat that were on display.
We took an Uber here so it was hard trying to find the location. It's to the far right edge of the plaza behind the Cricket Wireless. Upon seating, we were a fairly large group of about 8 of us on a Sunday afternoon. We came in around 5 and didn't leave until after 7. That's what disappointed us. It took so long to order, to wait for the food, to actually eat it, to paying our bill, and then leaving.
The oysters here were not good. It was like it wasn't cleaned off properly so you had extra things in your mouth that wasn't supposed to be there. Yikes
The lobster tail dinner was okay. Kinda tasteless, but I had to soak up my lobster with that medium sauce from the Dungeness crab. The fries were on point though. The server messed my order up on the sides. Instead of mashed potatoes, I got coleslaw. I still got my mashed potatoes anyways, but those were also bland without gravy.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Sep 1, 2018
We were seated and handed a menu. Sat there for about 20 minutes. There were waitresses walked around and passed us many times but never came to us. Finally, someone came and asked if we were helped yet. They said the got confused and wasn't sure who was supposed to help us. The waitress was apologetic and definitely made it up.
I ordered the lobster bisque, on the decks, off the shore, and oysters. The seasoning was yummy sauce mild. I'm so glad the food was really good to make up the service. I was impressed how much I got for the On the Docks. It had blue crabs, crawfish, mussels, sausage, and shrimp. The flavor was perfect. It was not too salty or overly oily. Even though the crawfish weren't in season, their crawfish were boil and cooked right. The lobster bisque has little chunks of lobster but not much. The flavor wasn't there. Glad to know there's another seafood boil place I can go to.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - 92186950Oct 14, 2018
Walking in I was surprised by the large space and cute decorations. We chose the sit at the bar as we were only going to grab a quick drink but after looking at the yelp reviews we decided to try a few appetizers. I went for the conch fritters as everybody raved about them. It came with about eight, they were full of meat and crispy on the outside, and had a delicious dipping sauce. Have to say I do agree with the reviews- amazing! Next stop was the crab bisque. The bisque was piping hot, full of flavor, but reminded me of cheese sauce. Not the best I've had but decent!
Overall decent place. Cutely decorated and fresh seafood options. Would love to come back and try one of their seafood boils or platters as it seemed the majority of the restaurant ordered them.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 175300115Nov 19, 2018
We showed up after making a reservation on Open table. Sadly they didn't have our reservation in their system but there were plenty of open seats for us. We had the full boil and it was so filling! Four of us (2 adults, 1 teen, and one child), could not finish it but took it home to enjoy later. Honestly, our experience was a bit underwhelming, though.
While our waitress was nice and friendly, she was not super knowledgeable about the beers on hand. We also found it really odd that not one employee (including an owner) could tell us how to crack the crawfish.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kenneth S.Yulee, FL4314834May 22, 2020
Great come back from quarantine period. This people were ready to receive customers with energy and a great smile. Even the handling of my two grandsons was amazing. Just for the service, this place is worthy of visit. Our server, Allison, was amazing.
The food coupled perfectly their excellent service. I had a boil with snow crab with the "boom" sauce and it was perfect. We also had the grouper sandwich and the two-lobster tail dinner. Everything was well prepared and presented.
If you want to make a successful return from the quarantine period, come to this place. You won't regret it.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Julian S.Tempe, AZ1996May 25, 2021
We choose here as we has just got done with the beach and it was getting late. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated. There was no one in the restaurant but we went ahead and decided to give it a chance.
They do not serve sushi so that was a bummer and also at the time of us going did not serve alcohol.
The waitress was wonderful but the food we ordered was hit or miss and also more then expected and not the greatest.
I would not recommend as there are more place around which seems to be better quality.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Kelly M.Houston, TX213228457Apr 15, 2019
So. Good.
The yummy sauce - I don't know WHAT was in it, but I am still craving it. The lobster bisque was really good!
The prices are pretty decent and our server was very pleasant and efficient. I'll definitely be back - OH! Make sure to check in! 5.00 offHelpful 6Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - 2374181135718Aug 25, 2020Seated via Yelp Reservations
We had the shrimp dinner. My sides were Cole slaw and onion rings. My husband had the same except he had Cajun fries. I believe the shrimp might of been frozen shrimp-they were okay. The Cole slaw and the onion rings were good. I think if hush puppies were included with the plate would be a perk. The shrimp dinner was $15.99. Higher than what my budget allows. We dined early and we were the only ones dining. There were two patrons at the bar and seemed like they were regulars. The Waitress was nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Ernie finished his meal. I had leftovers. The Owner gave me 10% discount. I met him on Instagram contest. If you use your Yelp app to check in, you can get $5.00 your ticket, if you spend more than $30.00. I would like to come back again and try something different. I also would love to try the sushi, when they bring it back. It's on hold for now-due to precautions of the Corona Virus Pandemic. I believe in supporting local businesses.
