This was my first seafood boil experience and I was impressed. I wouldn't say this was the freshest seafood but the flavor was there.
We got the AYCE option and it was well worth the money. The Mix All seasoning option was amazing!

I had a great experience dining at Ocean Crab and reccommend it to anyone who loves all things seafood. I came around 5pm on a Friday evening and was promptly greeted and escorted to our booth. Our waitress Kimberly explained the seafood menu and the ACYE options and my dining party decided that we wanted to feast tonight and went with all you can eat. It costs $55.99 per person and includes a soft drink. The dining time limit is 90 minutes. You get to pick up to 3 options for starters and 3 options for seafood. And also choose the spices and spice level. Each round is brought out on a tray; served family style. Each tray comes with corn, sausage, potatoes and hard boiled egg.


The snow crab legs were absolutely delicious and seasoned well. The meat came out easily too so that's a plus. We did about 5 rounds of snow crab legs and clams and 2 rounds of starters. Everything tasted great but my friend said there fried calamari was too chewy and had a weird taste.

NOTE: if you choose to the AYCE option; the entire table must choose the AYCE options or they will seat the parties separately. Also; they will charge you for the un eaten seafood you order.

I had never been to a seafood boil place that offers AYCE and this is now a new favorite! It's about $60 per person for AYCE but I would say it's definitely worth it. All the seafood we got was very fresh especially the snow crabs and crawfish and they're pretty generous with portions. You also get unlimited appetizers/sides such as fries, calamari, wings, and etc. SAY LESS! Our server was great and very accommodating. The restaurant is also very nice, open, and clean. I would definitely come back here :)

Very disappointing! From the dusty bathroom to the cold food, not worth spending so much money on cold food, basically tasteless. The place is big and the atmosphere was basically a video of Disney "Moana" playing at the bar. The snow crab legs were overcook and hard to remove. Crawfish was rubbery. Total disappointment. Our server, Nico, apologized 5 times for making us wait, even though there were only serving 4 tables. Definitely not worth it!

There are a few crab/ seafood boil places to choose from in Northern VA, I would say if you're looking for reasonably priced, fresh seafood Ocean Crab is a great spot!

My parents and I came here on labor day weekend and I called beforehand to let them know we might be 15 mins late for our lunch reservation: they were super accommodating and nice about it.

The menu comes with either mix and match 1/2 lb or 1lb options + more, or to make it simple: there's also 6 (?) set seafood boil combos, which makes it easy for your to choose your seafood in-a-bag. The flavors are Garlic butter, Cajun, and Lemon. For our combo mussels bag, we choose a mix of all 3 in medium. The snow crab combo that came with shrimp: we choose Garlic butter medium.

The garlic butter sauce is SO GOOD HERE!!!!

Yes, believe the hype. Probably the best garlic butter seafood sauce I've had at any crab boil place: definitely top in NOVA/DC, and including places I've tried in California, Texas, Las Vegas, etc. We preferred it over the mixed flavor.

The staff I noticed was super nice and polite. Everyone working there was really pleasant, which I appreciated a lot. The 2 main servers came to check up on us occasionally. The guy running our food was really chill too and friendly.

The atmosphere of the place was laid back. There is a large bar seating area, booths, tables, and 3 separate TV screens playing sports, movies, something for kids, etc.

Also random surprise, but the chicken tenders + fries basket was really good. I liked how freshly battered and fried the chicken was; it was juicy, flavored well. It came with cajun fries or a choice of regular fries, sweet potato, corn, etc.

TLDR; they offer AYCE seafood at $55-56, but if you're not feeling all-you-can-eat, there's decently priced seafood combos as well.

PS: They have a special deal right now that is "Buy 2 seafood combos, get 1lb snowcrab or dungeness crab legs free". Our server let us do 1/2 snowcrab and 1/2 dungeness for free.

Absolutely love Ocean Crab. I've been here a couple of times already with a few friends of mine, and we've had great experiences so far.

The Food: We always go with the AYCE option, but they do have set combos for you to pick from as well. Snow Crabs are the only thing we eat, and we have no complaints! The seafood has been very fresh and warm when brought out to us. The sides are very good well, they have a variety for you to choose from. a must try is the Crab Bites, literally so good! The sauce they provide is delicious as well, no complaints on flavor at all.

The Service: Service every time we've gone here has been incredible. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They are also very attentive to you and will make sure orders get out to you as soon as possible.

The Atmosphere: Very spacious and open restaurant. Tons of seating, from booths, tables to tables big enough for huge groups. The place is clean and there are wash stations across the bathroom for a quick hand wash. Plenty of parking as well.

Overall, a 5/5! Love the variety fresh seafood they offer and the delicious side that come with AYCE. I'll be back again for sure!

Was poking around for delivery on Uber eats and found ocean crab- I discovered it's 20% cheaper to order thru their website so decided to do so and pickup to save a few dollars. Their actual pricing seemed really fair and when I went to pick it up I saw a special advertised on their door. I was a little bummed to not have been offered the special since I didn't see it said dine in only on it but i didn't bother anyone about it - staff got to me quickly and handed me my bag right away! Food was ready quickly and on time. Place was pretty busy for a late afternoon, looked clean and welcoming. I ordered fried oysters w/ sweet potato fries, 1lb of snow crab legs, 1lb shrimp and 1lb crawfish. Seafood was good and fresh but shrimp were very overcooked making them impossible to peel until they had completely cooled down. Enjoyed my fried oysters but the sweet potato fries were soggy mush - air fryer couldn't even save them. I was surprised to not receive a single lemon and thought there could have been way more seasoning on the seafood - I ordered extra and still found myself adding my own as well as trying to make it spicy (I think I ordered medium and did not feel it was spicy at all). I'd return but I'd adjust my order with these notes in mind :)

Took the gf out for her bday, we ordered a few sides and half pound of king crab, dungeness, and snow crabs. We would have opted for the all u can eat but options were limited.

For the amount I paid especially the sides, they could be a little bit bigger. Other than that the sides didn't disappoint and the crabs we got was perfect. We also opted for the butter garlic which was flavorful.

We will be back for more.
