Northwest Dental and Denture

I've been going to Northwest Dental Center in Bellingham for over a year and have received great care with deep cleaning, crown replacement and a lot of fillings - and with minimal pain, which is important to me. The staff, in person and on the phone, are always pleasant and helpful. And the prices are reasonable.

They ground down good front teeth into a crooked smile. It's apparent at first glance how diagonal three teeth are now. Horrible people unwilling to recognize there is a problem. Incompetent is the kindest word.

Wish I could do less than one star here.

Almost three years ago, Eric was the HERO of giving me back my life. I had gone through cancer and the treatment had completely ruined my teeth. After having them removed, I planned on getting implants. Unfortunately, treatment had also caused me to lose 70%of my jaw bones. Having a cadaver bone inserted was NOT an option for me personally. I was referred to Eric. His patience was something I needed so badly as I was struggling with the chemo brain. Eric was able to explain everything about the process and procedures and I was so comfortable that for once, in years, I wasn't worried or afraid about another medical procedure. No pain. No uncomfortable discomfort. Eric sincerely wanted my comfort. Eric was made for this. A's with most, I've come in a few times to get readjusting of my dentures. I've been so lucky to have Eric! I've referred a few patients to him and they all got the very best treatment!! And, I get so many compliments about my great smile!

I tried this dentist twice using different dentists each time. I thought the first time I just got an inexperienced dentist so I thought I would give them a second shot. This was a mistake. The first thing that bothered me was that after I got in the chair they handed me a pair of sunglasses to protect my eyes from the dentists overhead light. This would have been acceptable if they had been clean and sterile. They were dirty and smudged and a case of pink eye waiting to happen. The second thing was when they examined my bridge. Both dentusts were in awe of the fine work and then wanted to clean under it. This type of bridge fits tight and there is no reason to try and clean under it. In my opinion this dentist facility gets low marks for general knowledge and sanitary practices. On the up side I found a good dentist just down the street.

First let me say that Cody is great. He has been really willing to work with my husband's schedule, he's patient and kind. His reception staff however is where they get 1 star. One receptionist in particular has treated my husband horribly from the very beginning of his denture adventure. She has been unwilling to be kind, helpful and has been extremely rude to my husband. Going so far as to lie to him even when he had proof to show she lied. After this experience and abuse from this receptionist, once his treatment is done, we will never return to this business. My husband should not come home shaking from a confrontation with reception staff. Especially when he has a diagnosed mental illness. In this day in age you'd think he would be treated better.

The staff at Northwest Dental are amazing. They help make the dental experience a pleasure.

This place is phenomenal. Eric is one of the best denturists in WA and when he's in Burlington he's got the 2nd best denturist working there too!
