North Point Dental Associates

So I switched practices to North Point Dental because of how I was treated yesterday at Ideal Dental. OMG, what a difference. ORGANiZED very nicely. New patients can complete the patient information on-line---which really streamlined the process.

What I enjoyed was the fact I was able to come in, get processed, and get an exam in one sitting. The staff processed my referral (they found an infection) and really appreciated my time. I look forward to a long-term relationship with this team. Thank you.

They need to make sure they check the patients insurance before the patient arrives for their appointment. I live on the other side of Thomasville, they were recommended to me when Dr. Oliver was there. I only stayed because I didn't want to go through the process of the changes. When I arrived there were no record of my appointment nor my son's appointment. Both appointments were for 1:40 we arrived at 1:25. She still didn't ask for our insurance cards or nothing. I normally have a copayment. Which my insurance changed since my last cleaning. I sit down and I receive a text saying my appointment is at 2:40 and my son's appointment is now at 2. I go to ask why our time change because I could've left my son in school. They couldn't answer me and told me to wait and hold on.I want to say it was the manager that stated they didn't take our insurance anymore and they were seeing us "out of courtesy". I told her she didn't have to do that because we can go somewhere else. I didn't want her to feel as if she was doing me a favor.I made my son another appointment somewhere else that actually specialize in children oral care while there. I didn't have a problem paying for our services but it's how she said it. I'm a medical assistant and any time we call anyone we time stamp and have a telephone encounter typed out. I let her know it was very inconvenient for me to travel all the way to the office when I talked to someone on Monday to confirm my appointment. The phone conversation nor at my check in did they ask me to see my insurance cards. This could've been avoided! Once we left I received another text stating my appointment is at 3 which resulted in me calling them to let them know I'm still active in the system. They should have better communication and protocols when it comes to this. Since Dr.Oliver left a few years ago the office hasn't been the same. I wish them the best but they have lost two patients that's been there for 4years. I also understand that offices don't take certain insurances; once again I'm a medical assistant. I never received a call stating they didn't take our insurance! This encounter is solely on the office.

This dentist office is not what it was when we started coming here. I think the office quality decreases with each visit. Will not be back.

I am a new patient and I just wanted to share how efficient this office is. From booking an appointment, completing new patient paperwork, wait time, professionalism and service. The facility is nice and clean. They have big screen TVs in each room which makes waiting for the next step nice. They also have Spanish speaking staff. They are still accepting new patients at this time.

Fast and friendly service from reception to the exam room. It was easy to make an appointment, and there was a very short wait time for all three appointments I've had so far. Dr. Khan was awesome; she has a wonderful "bedside" manner. She was patient, did not rush me, and explained everything thoroughly. I'd highly recommend this office!

North Point Dental has really put together an awesome crew! It is a great experience every time I go and I have been a patient here for almost 10 years.

I took my two-year-old daughter here for her first-ever dental appointment. As to be expected, I was a nervous wreck, but my nerves were calmed by the incredible staff and overall experience.

The kids' examination room is sooo cool! My daughter loved the underwater artwork on the walls and felt at-ease when she saw the big-screen TVs playing her favorite cartoons.

The staff members were patient with her as she screamed and wiggled away from them, and reassuring to me that she was exhibiting typical behavior of a patient her age and that I did not need to apologize for her behavior. They showed her each tool that they were going to use for her cleaning before using it, explained what it did, and allowed her the opportunity to touch it and see it work.

Dr. Tucker was very friendly and professional, and was also very patient with my daughter. She allowed me to keep my daughter reclined in my lap throughout the examination in order to make her more comfortable.

At the end of the appointment, my daughter was excited to get a sticker and a gold coin that is redeemable at a toy dispensing machine that allowed her to choose her prize.

Overall, the staff and environment at this dental office put this momma at ease about my child's dental care, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist in the area!

I cannot stress how competent and courteous this office is, besides the fact that they also have a pediatric dentist, dr. Nikki Tucker and the entire family can be seen. Both dr. Oliver and dr. Tucker are great professionals and I highly recommend this practice. My precious experiences with dental offices were scary, but this team of professionals make me and my daughter anticipate our next visit with pleasure.

Best office I've ever been to. All staff is professional and courteous. Dr. Khan is amazing and very knowledgeable. Dr. Oliver is the nicest guy you would ever meet. Recommend highly.
