Calling Nick detail oriented is a bit of an understatement, he noticed all kinds of small things we didn't see before and explained their implications. Scheduling him was easy, and his quote was towards the lower end of the quotes I got.

When he got here, he went over the house, and stopped to explain things when he saw something we might not understand, or when we had a question.

We got the report the next morning, and nick has been available to answer follow up questions. Overall, I highly recommend him.

Nick is an incredible home inspector. He is thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and such a pleasure to deal with. He was punctual arriving at the property, in returning all phone calls/correspondence, and his turnaround time was exceptional and as promised. He does not mind answering questions about the home inspection process and what he is doing or seeing. Nick gives a compete and concise report that is easy to understand. The report, which was filled with pictures that he took, was 63 pages long and extremely detailed. The summary went over everything he found that needed attention. It even includes companies in which you can have those issues fixed! Totally a great experience to spend the hours with him during the inspection. I highly recommend him to do your home inspection!

Nick Catalino was made our home inspection a very nice experience. We were buying a rundown duplex as an investment and needed an inspector to tell us exactly how bad it was. Nick did a good job of that without breaking our hearts. Explained everything thoroughly and for a fair price. Charming clean-cut and professional. He also followed through with all reports required for insurance purposes within 24 hours.

Nick is amazing!! He came by our new home just after we put our offer in on the house to check it out for us and then again after we purchased the home abe made some electrical improvements.
I reiterate: NICK. IS. AMAZING. He's so, so knowledgeable about homes and the work that he does -- but the awesome thing about Nick is that he's not arrogant or pompous about his knowledge and he doesn't make you feel dumb or small.
In the home-buying process you meet a lot of vendors and people who can make you feel small or like you're asking stupid questions -- especially as a first time homebuyer! But Nick was so kind and helpful. My fiancé and I talked about him for weeks after he came and how grateful we were to have such a helpful person identify the problems we had in our home and help with solutions. Nick was extremely quick in his follow-up and sent us the report the same-day! He was always quick to respond to emails or phone calls with questions. I'd highly recommend Nick!

We just had our (hopefully) soon to be home inspected by Nick. He was extremely thorough in his inspection and found many things we overlooked as buyers. The report he gave back was was very detailed and he was willing to go over the entire thing with us. His customer service skills were terrific, and walked us through every step. Even took time to explain the repercussions of a few things that didn't pass. On stop by of everything he was very fair priced! Highly recommended!!

Nick is so professional! He went through the home with a fine tooth comb. He met us right on time late in the afternoon and we had the report that evening. He explained everything he did and why. We were 100% pleased with him and recommend him highly.
