I am so thankful to Dr. Van Inwegen - he is a professional and excellent surgeon. Their practice is a not a "Mill" practice for cataracts. I highly recommend him and his facility. The staff is great and so pleasant. The office is well organized and they really care.
Went to other Drs and they were only interested in selling that extra $5K lens which would not have worked well for me.
I am so thankful for doctors like Dr. Van Inwegen. Anyone needing cataract surgery should go to his facility. Surgical Center was so efficient too and made me feel comfortable. They also care so much.
All around very pleased and thankful.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Love E.Manhattan, NY0381Apr 5, 2023
Do not expect good service. Astoundingly this office hires customer service staff that seem annoyed they have to provide customer service. Will not be going back.

Wonderful experience always seeing Dr. Van and his staff for all my eye care Needs. All the way from my phone call, front desk ladies and the exam room, what a joy to have Dr. Van, Dr. Winkler & Dr. Winkler take care of me!
Extra kudos to Dr. Van Inwegen for successful cataract surgery at the professional & friendly "River Drive Surgery & Laser center" in Elwood Park!
With covid, I have felt safe knowing how clean/sanitized everything was at both locations! Highly recommend NJ Regional Eye Care!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Stanley N.Saddle River, NJ0231Mar 7, 2020
It was a bad experience in every way. To add insult to injury literally - the follow up was equally unresponsive and uncaring.
The doctor made a giant error in the procedure and is not a good person in my opinion let alone good surgeon. If there could be a minus I would use it for him.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tony L.Englewood, NJ05May 22, 2020
The worst. Went in for cataract. Came out with a detached retina
Then Dr. "Van" put down in notes it was due to a "bad sneezing fit"
If I could give him negative 100 stars I wouldHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Christine S.Bergen County, NJ07677Dec 12, 2018
I've been seeing Dr. Bruther for a few years now for routine eye exams. She is always courteous, takes the time to explain everything she is doing, and never makes you feel rushed. I feel my eyes are well taken care of under her care. Both in person and on the phone, the staff is polite, professional, and helpful.

I was in the area the day before a major snowstorm, and as luck would have it, a lense fell out of my frame at 6:30 pm. I stopped by this practice, and I received immediate, gracious assistance. My glasses were fixed, and I was able to get back on the road. It is a big, well appointed office with professional and attentive staff.

Although the front office was friendly. My first visit that I had, the girl that did my initial testing was completely rude. I then met with Dr. Van Inwegen who was wonderful and very patient. He explained to me what he saw in regards to my loss of vision in my eye after my retina detachment. I then made another appointment with Dr. Winkler who is probably the worst doctor I have been to in my entire life. My first visit to get fitted for contacts he was so rude and arrogant that had Dr Van Inwegen not been so nice I would never have come back. My 2nd visit with Dr. Winkler were a couple of months later as I got my prescription filled that he had wrote and I could not see with the prescription. My right eye hadn't changed prescriptions in about 3 years, but yet, what he prescribed me wasn't right two months later. (Iprograstinated in getting my prescription filled.). Not only did they want to charge me gain even though what he prescribed initially wasn't correct. Dr. Winkler wrote the prescription incorrectly, horrible bedside manor and will never go back to this office gain. Because of my retina detachment and surgery to reattach, I will have to have cataract surgery in about a year. Was planning on using this practice for this service, but will never go near this practice ever again. If you do go there, stay away from Dr. Winkler. Probably the rudest doctors/people I have ever met.
