Amazing food and such a cute area. First time visiting Gig Harbor and I loved this little area. Loved the views of the water and seemed like a great little neighborhood with a lot of young families walking around.
Everything on the menu looked amazing and all of us loved what we ordered. Also had the best iced coffee ever here! I love my coffee with lots of cream and sugar and they just nailed this one and the little crunchy bits of sugar were seriously addicting!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 16, 2023
Netshed No.9 is in a charming renovated historic netshed. There is a very small indoor dining area, but the real gem is the outdoor patio space with an amazing view of the harbor. Even on the chilly days they have fire pits to sit by and blankets to wrap you up with while nested under a protective enclosure to keep you out of the wind. There is a parking lot as well, so don't feel you have to park on the street. Plus it's dog friendly should you have Fido with you.
The staff was very attentive and helpful with selections ensuring I had everything I needed and making sure I was enjoying my meal.Â
The menu was creative and enticingly written making it hard to select what I wanted, but I ended up opting for a cup of the 'delicious de jour clam chowder' and 'the Passion of the Hash'. As a woman who's lived on the East Coast for many years, I have to say I really enjoyed the chowder! It was warm and creamy with the perfect small chunks of potato, ample chopped clams and the rustic croutons made this dish for me. It elevated it and put those little oyster crackers to shame. I wish I had ordered a bowl instead! The Passion of the Hash didn't hit the same marks for me. I think my East Coast mother in law would have loved it since it was rather boring flavor wise. But adding the house made hot sauce (Hell Yeah) and some salt brought it up to a more flavorful experience. I was expecting more pork, peppers, and jalapenos - but it was potato heavy for sure. But they were cooked very well - soft, but held their shape and texture. And the sunny side eggs were perfect!  Portions size was also ample!
Overall a nice breakfast. I'd come back, but try something else next time or just get a bowl of the awesome chowder and another side.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bre H.Kaneohe, HI27892Aug 23, 2023
My FAVORITE go to brunch place in gig. So many good options and right on the water. The back is dog friendly and the employees are so sweet. During the cold months they give you little cushions and blankets which is so thoughtful. Overall 10/10, reasonable prices, awesome vibes, and yummy food options- many ranges! Can get busy though so select a good time!
My bf loves their clam chowder and their hot sauce.

We try to find comparable brunch spots in town and we continue to return. This morning the Gig Harbor Dragon Boat Team practice was canceled so we headed to our favorite place for stuffed biscuits, mimosas and French toast. The service is always lovely and there is something special about sitting on the deck overlooking g the harbor in a heated tent. Get there early, it's popular.

So I bought the boat here for dinner and had a very nice dinner on the patio overlooking the harbor. Food was delicious and I wanted to come back for breakfast and did this weekend. So many choices, so picked a few and shared. Had the special Apple cinnamon rolls to start and added the chiliquiles along with the rio scramble. All very good and generous portions.
Want to come back for some of the sweeter breakfast optionsHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mary Ann C.Tacoma, WA05Feb 3, 2024
Cute little place to eat. However, this was our second time here, and both times we were disappointed. The BLT bread was so hard and dry, it made it almost impossible to eat the sandwich. Second visit, who serves hashbrowns (that apeared to be from a frozen box out of a grocery store) with a pancake, and almost burnt on the bottom side? This should have come with an egg or two, not the hashbrowns. Odd selection to pair with a pancake. Then, to top it all off, hardly any syrup came with the pancake, and to be charged for more syrup ($1) for an additional small cup of what was runny and watered down seems ridiculous. The prices seem to be on the high side, in our opinion, and we do eat out a lot. Disappointed twice now, we won't be back. Ambience is nice enough, but food pairings could be so much better and more reasonably priced for what we ordered.

This is a toughy. Been here twice. First visit food was great, second visit it was OK. Service was very nice both times, but good/bad service does not factor into my reviews.
We got "chilaquiles" and I think some kind of hash (can't remember the name). The hash was fine, and it was as expected to be for a place this highly rated.
I'm sorry, but the chilaquiles absolutely were not chilaquiles. It was literally a plate of densely piled nachos. They were dense and mushy because there were way too many toppings. I'm from southern California, I speak spanish, I have been to Mexico about a dozen times--100% these aren't chilaquiles, nor were they very good. Sorry guys. You can do better.
People seemed to like the other food. We'll probably come back at some point. Steer clear of the chilaquiles though.

A cute restaurant in downtown Gig harbor by the water. I came here for brunch and it was an amazing experience.
Location: The parking was plentiful. There was a couple of spots in the nearby parking lot or street parking. It can get a bit busy on the weekends. You can expect a 30 minute wait, so I would recommend going and putting a name down then walking around the docks. Unfortunately, there is no reservation or yelp waitlist. There are options for indoor and outdoor seating.
Service: Once seated, the service was very quick. The food can take a little bit longer to get served but very worth the wait.
Food: I ordered the the spicy chicken and waffles and it was delicious. The chicken was super spicy so beware. The portion size was also ample so come with an empty stomach.
I would recommend this for anyone in town!

We especially enjoy this during the summer when it is warm enough to sit out on the patio. The menu is kind of limited but the quality of the food is great and the service is awesome.
