This company was nothing but superb in my transition from Lynchberg, Virginia to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Moving from state to state is a huge undertaking that most people dread, I myself being one of those loathing people. Luckily I did my research and came upon this amazing company, National Relocation. Being that there are thousands upon thousands of moving companies all boasting excellence and superior services to the rest, I found that my choice in NRS was utterly and completely masterful.
The hassle of picking up your own moving truck entails a journey no man or woman should have to take in a lifetime. First waiting around at the place just for a chance to get your truck knowing in the back of your mind this truck is a baby step in the entirety of the process. Once you finally get to talk to your miserable salesman, you have the joy of taking a tour of your vehicle inspecting every aspect to hopefully make certain no damage will be wrongfully charged to you for this rotting corpse of a vehicle. Finally underway in the foul smelling truck, next you have the privilege of loading ones whole life into a truck like a game of Tetris. One desk here, box under the desk, damn box doesn't fit under the desk, box on chair instead, etc. The nightmare of loading is done, finally, but wait your drive hasn't even started nor the unloading process.
All in all its a dreaded journey. With that being said I just wanted to say a huge thank you to NRS. I was stressed out of my mind trying to figure out this move and the second I talked with a consultant from their company my burden was lifted. They helped me get a quote in no time at all skillfully calculating the weight of all my boxes and furniture, probably based on some seemingly unique algorithm they may have created over the years. I did some of the calculations myself just to check. Low and behold they were almost spot on with the weight.
The day of the move I began with my morning coffee as I waited for the team to arrive. Punctuation his key for me and the guys made it to my home within the two hour window they gave me and called me twice to make sure I will be ready and the second call when they arrived which was mainly because I forgot to give them the code for the gate. As the three men from NRS artfully took the inside of my house apart piece by piece. Once the truck was loaded from top to bottom we were on our way. Every hour or so the consultant would update me on their where abouts and give me an ETA.
Everything ran smoothly and once I met them in Oklahoma City it took no time at all for my house to become assembled. Besides a couple of minor scratches which I would say are totally expected in the movie of this size, not a single item from my move was damaged, not even my wife's collectable crystal swan collection (Thank you Jesus). From the start of getting my quote to the time when I shook hands and said farewell to the three burly fellows that orchestrated my pieces of furniture and boxes into the house like a grand symphony, they made this process easy and enjoyable.
I have nothing but praise and thanks to say to NRS. If I ever need to relocate my life again I will without a doubt be calling them. Once again thank you NRS for this pleasurable experience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jamie G.Happy Valley, OR0101Aug 11, 2021
HORRIBLE COMPANY. DO NOT USE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I paid a deposit on a move from OR to AR. I put the move on hold. When I called to reschedule, I told them I was moving in state. I was told that was fine and someone would call to schedule. I waited three weeks, sent numerous emails, called several times (got hung up on or told someone will call me back) and was NEVER SCHEDULED. I finally spoke to the "manager" and he said he does not do state to state moves and "CANNOT" refund my deposit.
IT TOOK WEEKS FOR SOMEONE TO TELL ME THEY CAN'T DO THE MOVE AFTER I PAID A DEPOSIT!!!!!!!!!
I told this clown I was going to the BBB and he said "I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE BBB, REPORT IT ALL YOU WANT"
Is this a company you want to trust with your home????Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gustav F.Venice, CA02Jun 9, 2022
Avoid. This company is a band of hucksters: misleading at best, dishonest at worst. They are not a moving company (meaning with trucks and movers) but a broker of sorts (a shady middle man) between moving companies and customers. A fact that is never made clear while contracting. They also, needless to say, do not broker the services of any actually reputable moving companies.
So, like you will have read in many other reviews on this page - which I wish I had found before using these jokers - this seems to be the M.O.:
1. National Relocation Solutions will call and email you and make a contract based on a carefully discussed volumetric estimate plus number of rooms to move, number of floors at start and edn location, need for boxing and all the usual moving stuff. A price will be agreed and a 50% deposit will be paid in advance.
2. On the day of the move, a completely new and unknown moving company will show up at your door. They will say that they were subcontracted by National Relocation Solutions, and then they will look at your pile of stuff that needs moving and tell you that it's more than they were told / not packed correctly / too bulky / there are extra stairs involved they weren't informed about / pick any possible other made up issue.
3. They will make up a new, higher price on the spot, different to the quote you signed by potentially thousands of dollars and based on all of the grievances under point #2, and if you don't pay that in cash then and there they will just walk, leaving oyu with your pile of boxes and tell you to take it up with National Relocation Solutions.
4. National Relocation Solutions on their side will say that you are free to refuse the new quote (which is out of their hands) and decline service, but that you will then lose your already paid deposit, something which is in the contract. (In my case this meant choosing between losing a $650 deposit and being back to zero while needing to move out of the house, or pay the guy with the truck an extra $900 to not walk, and still have the move happen.)
5. Most clients seem to settle for the latter option (I did) which of course is part of the overall business model, since someone on the planned day of a move-out is usually somewhat desperate and out of other options. Either way the company makes money.
I would not use these people again if my life depended on it, and I wish them all a most miserable karmic rebirth.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Randy B.Battle Ground, WA291Jun 28, 2022
This company is not a moving company. It is a lead generation company that gets quotes from movers. Unfortunately you have no idea what information they are presenting to the movers. Our mover showed up and much to our surprise there were no dressers listed. The estimate for a two bedroom home was about 676 cubic feet. That was way too low. We had no washer and dryer, no refrigerator, one bed and no sofas and one recliner. We had about 60 boxes. I feel totally screwed. I had to negotiate with the movers. Just start with the movers and give them a detailed list and you should avoid problems.

Avoid this company at all cost, they'll charge you additional feels out of nowhere. They'll subcontract another company to do the work therefore they won't be liable for any damage done to your property. The good reviews have to be fake.

0 ratings - Please do yourself a favor and pick some other mover.
Rude, unprofessional and arrogant. We moved from Boston to Dallas and got our stuff delivered after 5 weeks.
First off, they sublet the service to another service company without telling you. Mind you, out of experience, YOU DO NOT WANT THIS. These people will steal another $500 to $1000 from you by the end of your delivery for a horrible service.
The driver gave us 10 minutes notice that they were arriving and expected us to leave our jobs and take care of the stuff. We failed to show up at the docking area within 10 minutes and they left taking our stuff. We had to make several phone calls asking to them to return what is ours. We ended up paying an additional $500 on top of the quoted amount.
The reviews with 5 starts must be the company giving ratings to themselves online. No one would be happy with the service they provide.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Maria M.Austin, TX2991826Aug 24, 2021
Please avoid at all costs. I could not believe how they demanded $3000 in cash at my front door. Absolutely terrible - I ended up renting a uhaul.

I signed a "binding estimate" with National Relocation LLC which stated plainly that my price would not change. I paid the deposit, and everything was set. The day before they were supposed to pick up my things, they called me and told me that due to an "accident" with their truck they would not be picking up anything unless I paid them another $200. I guess the "binding" estimate isn't so binding after all. The general manager was downright rude on the phone when I tried to resolve the issue, and he refused to provide proof that there had even been an accident. I offered to pay the extra $200 IF they showed me proof....the guy laughed and refunded my deposit. Because of this, I had to throw out anything that didn't fit in my car and move that way. I am beyond dissatisfied. In my opinion, this borders on downright extortion.

DO NOT USE THEM. They're scammers. They hired a 3rd party company to move my friend's stuff and they refused to unload, demanding money. Then they locked my friend in the truck when she tried to take the stuff out herself. This company is GARBAGE.

Scammers! I do not recommend use of this company. They add additional charges that are not stated within their contract and will attempt to bully you by withholding your belongings until you agree to pay bogus non contracted amount.
