Went to the store today on 19th Street. What a waste of time. The staff is so disengaged and rude. Wow. They really don't want your business. Small section and rude service _ do not go.

Nasty Pig is for nasty guys and those that love them. The store moved down the block and tripled the size of the boutique. The clothing line is fine quality, trendy, and a touch (or more) of gay piggy sleaze. Fun!
My favs are the Nasty Pig t-shirts and hoodies. You also can't go wrong with their underwear briefs and jockstraps.
Contrary to what you might expect, the store is clean and bright. Staff are helpful. Their fall fashion party Under the Hood was a blast, and the backyard patio a cool surprise.

As Jim also wrote in his review about this place, I am beyond the age of appropriate for the clothes here but my partner isn't. Sure, I can wear some of their clothes but maybe for a Halloween party! But that is only my opinion about the clothes and I'm not the demographic they are looking for. It's a cool store and a MUST if you're in the area or just walking by. It is near some cool alternative bars so it is convenient.
The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean and not cluttered. The store as a nice rear l window or courtyard bringing a lot of light inside. It's not claustrophobic for being a small place.
We bought a few things there and they are quality clothes. Take a look if you're in the area!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Alex L.Astoria, NY1311Jun 18, 2017
There's...there's nothing in here.
Okay, there is very little merchandise inside the store. Most of it is empty space. I was kind of confused. I think going online is the best bet if you know what you want. They did have a patio in the back, that's nice at least...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Troy D.Kansas City, MO228229113May 14, 2016
Well. Didn't expect to be writing a Yelp review on this place. And yet here I am.
Stopped by on a recent visit to NYC after seeing a commercial on Logo and going, "they have a flagship store? As in a real store? And they advertise on Logo?". The small was a lot smaller than I expected; sure, most NYC stores ARE smaller than average, but this was even pretty small. But - the folks on duty were pretty attentive as I browsed the wall of jockstraps, while my friends patiently waited for me to actually choose something. (I thought it odd they kept the jocks themselves down in the basement, but I'm sure that's an inventory control / space thing.)
Pricing is about what you'd expect -- high end underwear place, premium prices, but good quality and such. Other accessories run about the same.
You've heard the saying - do one thing and do it well... they do one thing (sell "fun" clothing), and they do it well.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 27, 2011
Ok, I'm wayyyyy beyond being age appropriate for the clothes in here, but something about the style of the place lured me in here.
Leather or faux leather vests and pants. Skinny jeans for men, with a certain style and flair (literally) that has a certain level of uniqueness that you won't find most places.
$25 for the red or black baseball caps, emblazoned with the pig silhouette logo which are a nice diversion from major league sports franchise logos. $25 for most tees with very unique style designs (mostly on the back) for your biker or pork fans.
Some tees were marked down to a reasonable $17.50 but in limited sizes.
Who wouldn't love to be recognized with the words "nasty pig" somewhere around the globe? It has a certain NYC cache....no? The 2 guys working the store were friendly enough, without being pushy.
If you're ever thinking to yourself "Nasty Pig", either from self-loathing or your last relationship gone bad...come here, it'll take your mind off things for awhile.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - David M.Tulsa, OK6224Jan 5, 2018
I have quite a collection of Nasty Pig items so while in NYC I made it a point to visit the 'flagship store'. Was not very impressed at all. The store was small and had very limited items. The clerk didn't greet us or ask if we needed any help. Which was a big disappointment because we were the only ones in the store. Saw a couple shirts and some underwear I would have bought but I was completely turned off by the limited selection and employee. Hoping it was just a bad day. I'm always for second chances so next time I might stop by again.

Staff was unprofessional and rude. Was trying on clothes and asked for another size and staff was like you get what you get. When I asked for the other style short up front. He said they don't carry them so I had to get dressed and go get them myself

I'll tell you right now, I'm totally biased.
David, CEO of Nasty Pig, is a totally cool, totally real, take it or leave it kind of guy and he and his partner make the most practical play gear (read: fetish wear) and accessories on this side of the pond. Nasty Pig makes rubber wear that you can throw in the washer, which, if you didn't know, is downright awesome, especially with their rubber sheets! Rubber is really what they are known for: rubber pants, rubber chaps, rubber cuffs, rubber belts, rubber vests... I have a rubber chest harness from them that it just HOT HOT HOT. This stuff is downright naughty (which I love), especially the jeans with the access zip along the ass crack.
FUN, HUH?
Their woofy black jock straps are a must buy (do it!).
And they also make everyday street clothes too (hoodies, jeans, t-shirts, tanks, etc.) and swimwear come summer.
It's a really pleasant store with nice lighting and open space, not a recreated fabulous fuck dungeon, so you should feel ashamed to go there, you pervert.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Micah s.New York, NY1936Mar 24, 2008
Need to show your inner Oink
Nasty Pig is the place for you.
From hot Jock Straps to overalls. Whether you are looking for jeans or rubber. There is something for any gay man who doesn't take him self too seriously. Check out their store, website or finer leather and fetish shops around the US.

You will love the looks you get when some one sees you wearing Nasty Pig gear and you over hear them say "Nasty Pig?" Turn around and give them a wink and smile and maybe they can see if you are what you wear.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
