Nail Expressions

I absolutely adore Nail Expressions. I've been going here since they opened when I was in high school, all through college and now as a professional in the working world. It's my favorite place to go to get a little pampered. They do a wonderful job with my manicures, pedicures and waxing. The ladies are so friendly and they greet you by name once they know you. I definitely recommend, just as I have to family and friends!

Service was friendly but this place needs some updating. For instance better pedicure chairs and dryers. I got a pedicure and simple manicure. I sat under the dryer for at least 25 minutes and both my fingernails and toes were smudged before I got home. I doubt I'll be back.

May need a little update but the staff is so friendly and my nails always come out great. My dip nails last 3-4 weeks. Been going there for 5 years. They never disappoint.

My favorite nail salon. The staff treats the customers like family and always makes us feel very welcome. My nails always look great and if they don't, the girls are happy to fix it. The salon itself is clean and the color selection is better than most. Prices are also very reasonable.

Horrible service !! I get my nails done every other week but wanted to check new places out in the area so I decided to pop into nail expressions. They lady who did my nails was very rude and gave me awful service. Each one of my nails is uneven and I asked her to put tips on two nails that are broken and she couldn't can shape them to match. Never going here again. Not worth the price u pay

The women who work here are really great. They welcome you warmly, treat you like a friend , provide great services-I've only ever gotten mani/pedi.

A girlfriend and I stopped here on a whim for pedicures yesterday. The place was completely dead (should have taken that as a hint) so we were seated immediately. It started out awkward -- my friend's water was scorching hot (she couldn't even put her feet in it), and then too cold. The women scrubbing our feet seemed annoyed about the water temperature requests and were curt the rest of the visit. The scrub brush they used was very painful -- it felt like a brillo pad. My foot rub was no rub...it was more of a flat-handed up down, up down, ok, that's it. Once we were finished, we asked if they offer shoulder massages while we dry? No. Can we add a tip to our credit card? No, only cash tips (so they can claim less and avoid paying taxes).

I paid the $25 for the pedi on my card and handed them a ten and asked for change. She brought back two fives. I handed her the five and asked for ones (I was planning on giving her a $6 tip -- I'm a former bartender so I know tips are important). I couldn't believe it when she swiped my five, snippily said "thank you" and turned and walked away. She had no intention of giving me change and completely ignored my request. Alrighty then. I'm low maintenance when it comes to pedicures, but seriously?

The lesson here? You get what you pay for. I will not be returning -- especially when there's a wonderful salon called Charming Nails three blocks away.

Ladies, save your feet and your sanity for another salon (like Charming Nails).

I have been going here for about three years and am very happy. Customer friendly, they are efficient without me feeling rushed. There is very little turnover of personnel here which I love. All of the women know me and greet me by name. I have stopped in a few times not far off from
Closing and they happily accommodate me without making me feel like I walked in late and inconvenienced anyone. I have tried a few other spots that have opened around here but I just keep coming back. They are also patient with my younger daughter who likes to come with me and often asks for silly colors or every other nail painted differently!

I've been coming here for years- it's great! No appointment ever needed. It is clean, the professionals are always kind and thoughtful. It is affordable and like a nice neighborhood place.

Will never go here again. About every two weeks I love to get a gel manicure, they last forever! The manicure I had was about two weeks old, the lady was very rude after she was unable to remove the gel polish quickly, she took out the drill tool and started to grind off the polish! I told her "No, I do not want that used on my nails, it does not have to be done that way, soak them off please" From then on she was very unprofessional and snarky. She spoke in her native tongue to all the other ladies present the entire time I was there making disgusted faces. I also got a pedicure which was not much to talk about....do not waste your time and money here.
