Myrtle's is an absolute gem! If you need anything yea related, you will find it here. We have several tea fans in our house and we all love Myrtles.
Besides and amazing collection, the prices are great! Such a great value. From tea sets to tea, it's all priced well.
The owner is amazing! She has always taken such good care of our family. She helped me navigate the massive selection of teas to find just the right flavor for the upcoming rainy season.
If you are a tea fan, this is a must stop destination!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shari C.Vancouver, WA37Dec 3, 2023
Such a pretty place. At Christmas time I wanted to buy everything in the store. Reasonable prices too!

I enjoyed a beautiful high noon tea date with mom today. This quaint little tea house was so cute and had some very tasty goodies. I tried an Orchid Vanilla tea that is available for a limited time only and mom had a Chocolate Chai to accompany a variety of finger sandwiches that were sweet & savory along with homemade breads and desserts. You can purchase tea, teapots and tea sets or anything from the displays throughout the tea house. This will be one of our go to places to visit occasionally to carry on our tea tradition.

Myrtle's Tea House now operates under the name Jubilee Tea House. Jubilee Tea House is a mash-up of a high tea house sensibility and a millennial's idea of 21st century tea.
First, the good: The place is brand spanking new and finished nicely. The service is very good and the people are nice. Now, the not so good: The room is done like a contemporary eatery with all hard surfaces so the sound reverberates throughout the tea room. The tables are a bit too close together. By the end of the service, you may have a sore throat from speaking loudly to be heard. I prefer a quiet tea room. The table next to us was being prepared for the next party and it was sprayed with Windex which lingered in the air. The party that came to that table included a baby in a high chair. We did not stay long after that. And, last, the food. I think they need a better hand in the baking department. The scones were a little chewy, rubbery. And, for $40, the offering was skimpy.
Bottom line: would I return? No. I think there are many other tea rooms to try. The tea shop that is connected to the tea room is first rate charming and deserves a visit.
I really wanted to like this tea room.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 1923341559Nov 28, 2017
I went here in September for a friend's birthday gathering. The pictures on Yelp and Google maps didn't really do much justice to this place, so I took more to add. I was told that Each season they re-do the place so every season feels like a whole new enchanting tea Experience. The tea service was great and we had a good selection of courses. I wish this place was closer to Portland. I was pleasantly surprised and felt like a "queen" for the day. So glad I was able to go here. Quite the secret gem. So glad for the recommendation. I plan to go again someday as I really enjoyed the presentation and Experience. tea was lovely.

Since Myrtles is no longer serving the full lunch, it really is sad to say I will not be going back. She has changed things up and is hoping to create a gift shop/tea room with simple scones. But the limited supply of things for sale and the very expensive scones is why I changed my rating from 5 star to 2.
And you're kind of right KC, $17 is for tea and either savory or sweet scones. We ordered the savory for that. Then an option for another $12, we got 3 sweet.
$32 is a bit much for 6 bite sized scones for sure.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 13, 2016Previous reviewA gem of them all around the area!!! We love the food and ambiance and will keep going back!

This is my favorite place to have afternoon tea! I always go for their themed teas. The latest was their Summer Solstice tea, everything including the decor, music, and food fit the theme perfectly!
Each season, Elizabeth, the marvelous owner refreshes the decor and menu to reflect the season/occasion. It's so fun to see what she comes up with next!
I LOVE the massive tea collection, (to the past disgruntled reviewer below: it is loose leaf tea placed in a bag for an easier drinking experience, and you can request hot water refills)! The food is delicious! For the themed teas, it starts with sorbet, then you get a choice of soup and a plate of different savories and fruit, and ends with a smaller dessert plate which includes one of their warm scones made in house! Drool!
The service is always sweet and kind. There's also a cute storefront that offers all kinds of tea sets, cups, and all around tea accessories, and of course they have a huge selection the tea that's on the menu. Do yourself a favor, grab a friend, your Mom, or anybody and take them to tea here, you will not be disappointed!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Michelle P.Amboy, WA186920Nov 17, 2018
Charming service, tea to soothe the soul, and scones that can only be described as "daaaaaay-uuuum!" Pick a special occasion and go to Myrtle's. You will be pampered and treated and pleased on the deepest level.
I recommend you speak in your best English accent to add a bit of pizzazz to your experience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dana M.Vancouver, WA3968Jul 18, 2019
This is a wonderful tea house. The quality and consistency of the tea experience is a delight, and it's always a joy-filled experience. Of note: they still have full teas, but they are occasional events which are announced on their Facebook site. They're delicious as ever. The tea selection and goodies to peruse and purchase are worth stopping by.

Best tea house ever! A huge amount of teas to select from. Absolutely delicious menu. Everything is homemade. The server Emma was excellent. You can get all dressed up or just go in jeans if you wish.
